Margie S. Moore, 66, of North Vernon, Ind., formerly of Northern Kentucky, died at 2:23 p.m. Saturday at her home. She was a retired security receptionist for Procter & Gamble. She was a member of Latonia Baptist Church and Scipio Baptist Church, North Vernon. Her husband, Donald Moore, died in 1968.
Survivors include daughters, Tonya Kordenbrock of Covington, Kimberly Proffitt of North Vernon, Ind., and Gina Kaiser of Ludlow; a son, Tim Moore of Covington; sisters, Juanita L. Burns of Arlington, Va., and Betty Perry of Independence; brothers, Edwin E. Bales of Cincinnati and Rodger Bales of Independence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be there at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Robert William O'Hara, 58, of Corinth, died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital West in Florence. He was a farmer and founder of Mike's Auto Salvage in Corinth. He was a member of St. William Church, Williamstown.
Survivors include his wife, Delores J. Halfill O'Hara; sons, Mike O'Hara of Corinth and Pat O'Hara of Crescent Springs; a daughter, Darlene O'Hara of Ft. Mitchell; his mother, Luvenia Ballenger O'Hara of Corinth; a brother, Eddie O'Hara of Hayes, La.; sisters, Mary Ann Cook of Williamstown and Betty Jo O'Hara of Tulsa, Okla.; and six grandchildren.

Stephanie Scheepens, 83, of Ft. Wright, died at 2:35 a.m. Friday at St. Charles Care Center, Covington. She was a retired employee of Goetz Candy Co. and a charter member of St. Dismas Church in Gurnee, Ill. She was a member of the church Altar Society.
Survivors include a son, James Scheepens of Seattle; a daughter, Carrie Brueggemann of Ft. Wright; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Sally A. Schmidt, 87, of Ludlow, died at 11:50 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Richard Schmidt, died in 1961.
Survivors include daughters, Mary Ann Hoyeler and Janet Sue Henry, both of Ludlow; a brother, Jack Bailey of Houston; sisters, Evelyn Sims of Ludlow, Dorothy Stodsgill of St. Augustine, Fla., and Hattie Jones of New Albany, Ind.; and three grandchildren.

Mary Margaret Schmitt, 95, of Warsaw, died Saturday at Gallatin County Health Care Center in Warsaw. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Church, Warsaw. Her husband, William Schmitt, died in 1978.
Survivors include a son, William H. Schmitt Jr. of Warsaw; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Edith Wheelwright, 83, of Erlanger, died at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at her home. She was a retired cashier with Hilton Hotels and a member of Erlanger Christian Church.
Survivors include sons, Arthur Wheelwright of Erlanger and Richard Wheelwright of Iowa City, Iowa; a sister, Wilma Schroeder of Greeland, Miss.; and one grandchild.

Mildred J. Hathcock Winters, 79, of Ft. Thomas, died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke Hospital East in Ft. Thomas. She was a homemaker and a volunteer with Ruth Moyer and Highlands schools. She was an Honorary Lifetime Member of Ft. Thomas Parent Teacher Association. Her husband, Jack L. Winters, died in 1984.
Survivors include a son, Philip Winters of Ft. Thomas; a daughter, Patricia Collins of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Jack Hathcock of Bellevue; and one grandchild.

Winston Trigg "Rusty" Worthington, 70, of Louisville, formerly of Mason County, died Saturday at Columbia Audubon Hospital in Louisville. He was a retired truck driver with Smith Transfer, Louisville, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Hughes Worthington; a daughter, Diane Richardson of Louisville; a son, Winston Scott Worthington of Louisville; sisters, Helen Dean Worthington of Frankfort and Caryl Conger of Blacksburg, Va.; a brother, Fred D. Worthington of Fairborn, Ohio; and two grandchildren.

Anne Vonderhaar, friend of schools
Anne K. Vonderhaar spent a lot of time raising money for Catholic schools.
"She was a very energetic woman," said a son, John J. Vonderhaar of Edgewood. "If something needed to be done, she just jumped in and did it. She was a doer."
Mrs. Vonderhaar, 83, of Villa Hills, died at 2:20 p.m. Sunday at Madonna Manor Nursing Home in Villa Hills. She was a homemaker and a retired receptionist with St. Luke Hospital East, Ft. Thomas. She also was a member of St. Anthony Church, Bellevue, and founded the Mothers Clubs at LaSallette Academy, Newport Catholic High School and St. Anthony Elementary School.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, her son said. Mrs. Vonderhaar raised three children, took care of a retarded uncle, raised a nephew, and cared for an invalid grandmother, Mr. Vonderhaar said.
"She didn't have many idle hours," Mr. Vonderhaar said. "Her grandchildren were her joy."
Mrs. Vonderhaar's husband, Bernard D. Vonderhaar, died in 1963.
Other survivors include sons, Bernard R. Vonderhaar of Perrysburg, Ohio, and Howard E. Poehner of Bellevue; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Bellevue. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas. Barbara Gail Damon Elkhorne, 60, of Melbourne, Australia, formerly of Latonia, died Friday in Australia.
She was a librarian with St. Joseph Primary School in Melbourne, Australia, and a member of the Australian Children's Book Council. She was a former librarian with Cincinnati Public Library and a member of Latonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph L. Elkhorne; sons, Joel D. Elkhorne and Christopher C. Elkhorne, both of Mel bourne, Australia; her parents, Edwin G. and Lauramell Damon of Independence; and a sister, Judith Damon Carr of Frankfort.
Memorial services were Monday at Grace Baptist Church in Independence. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Melbourne time, in Australia.
