Meredith Johnson, 61, of Rader Ridge Road, London, Kentucky, died Thursday, April 12, 2001, at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Annie (Evans) McGee and James McGee, and is survived by her husband, Orville Johnson of London.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 14, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Hacker Cemetery
at Fogertown, Kentucky.
Bert S. Feltner
Bait store owner
Bert S. Feltner, 79, of Bert Feltner Road, London, Kentucky, died Thursday, April 12, 2001, at the Marymount Medical Center in London.
Born May 6, 1921, in Leslie County, Kentucky, he was owner of Feltner Live Bait and had previously served as Sixth District magistrate for eight years. During World War II he served in both the Army and Air Force. He was at Hickman Field at Pearl Harbor on the initial beginning of World War II, and flew the command that dropped the atomic bomb on Japan proper. He attained the highest Tech Sergeant ranking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha (Stidham) Feltner and Garrett C. Feltner; a son, Phillip E. Feltner; and a brother, Jack Feltner.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Mathews (Brown) Feltner of London, Ky.; a son, Garland Feltner of Dayton, Ohio; three step-daughters, Carolyn Clark and husband Curtis of London, Ky., Clara Leslie and husband Vernon of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Frances Pullium of Frankfort, Ky.; four step-sons, Bill Mathews and wife Donna of Keavy, Ky., Bruce Mathews and Wife Brenda and Willard Mathews and wife Geneva, both of London, Ky., and Shelby Mathews of Richmond, Ky.; two brothers, Greene Feltner and wife Margaret of Celina, Ohio, and Paul Feltner and wife Betty of London, Ky.; a sister, Grace Thompkins and husband R.E. of Hamilton, Ohio; two grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 14, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Lonnie Marcum and Randy Baker officiating. Burial followed in the Feltner Family Cemetery
at Cold Hill, Kentucky.

Linda Marie Money, 76, of Money Road in East Bernstadt, Kentucky, died Thursday, April 12, 2001, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Lottie (Hodge) Sebastian and Robert Sebastian, and is survived by her husband, Fred Money, of East Bernstadt.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 14, at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Money Cemetery
at East Bernstadt.

Myra S. Terry, 64, of Hicksville, Ohio, formerly of Corbin, Kentucky, died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Nora (Sampson) Gambrel and William Gambrel, and was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy G. Terry.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 14, at the Corbin Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Worley Cemetery.
Zelma Philpot
Zelma (Morgan) Philpot, 85, of Hilliard, Ohio, formally of Indianapolis, Indiana, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at Doctor's West Hospital.
She was a member of the Mounts Runn Baptist Church of Zionsville, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna Morgan and Joseph Morgan; her husband, Elhanon Philpot; and a son, Denver Philpot.
Survivors include her loving daughter and son-in-law, Virgilla "Vi" and Tim Sellerds of Hilliard, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Philpot; two sisters, Nancy Reed and Opal Williams and husband Earl; four brothers, Junior Morgan and wife Sharon, Fred Morgan and wife Rosie, Lee Morgan and wife Ruth, and Dale Morgan and wife Loretta; five grandchildren, Rachel Ratliff and husband Dave, Tim Sellers and wife Julie, Danny Sellers and wife Christina, Shannon Callahan and husband Steve, and Angela Philpot; six great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Kari, Gianmarco, Tyler and Joseph; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 14, at the Tidd Funeral Home in Hilliard, Ohio, with Pastor Darrel Gabbard officiating. Burial followed in the Mounts Runn Baptist Church Cemetery
in Zionsville, Indiana, with the Rev. Roy Reeder officiating.
Charles Revis

Charles Revis, 73, of Blackwater Road, London, Kentucky, died Thursday, April 12, 2001, at the Marymount Medical Center in London.
Born February 22, 1928, in Kentucky, he was a heavy equipment operator, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and was a member of the Full Truth Holiness House of Prayer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mel Revis; and his wife, Sharon (Nolan) Revis.
Survivors include his mother, Sophia Parks of Talbott, Tenn.; a daughter, Sandra Wilder of Manchester, Ky.; two sons, Jack Revis of Manchester, Ky., and Gary Revis of Red Bird, Ky.; two step-sons, Robert Lendhardt and Christopher Lenhardt, both of London, Ky.; two brothers, Scott Parks of Hamilton, Ohio, and Gene Parks of Corbin, Ky.; a sister, Susie Poff of Talbott, Tenn.; and four grandchildren, Rhoda Wilder, Freddie Revis, David Charles Revis and Christopher Ryan Revis.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 16, at the Full Truth Holiness House of Prayer with Stephen Nolan officiating. Burial will follow in the Nolan Cemetery.
London Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Maxie Cathers Evans, 89, of Hillcrest Nursing Home, died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Lizzie Tankersley and Will Cathers, and was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Evans.
Graveside services were held Thursday, April 12, at the Evans Family Cemetery
at East Bernstadt, Kentucky, under direction of London Funeral Home.
Aileen Irvin
Aileen Irvin, 72, of Keavy, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday morning, April 10,, 2001, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of the Locust Grove Christian Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Flora (Karr) and Winfield Cassidy; and a brother, Raleigh Cassidy.
Survivors include her husband, Ted Irvin of Keavy, Ky.; a son, Kenneth Irvin and his wife Bonnie of Keavy, Ky.; a daughter, Kathy Holt and her husband Mike of Lexington, Ky.; two sisters; four brothers; four grandchildren, Konnie Snyder and her husband Larry of London, Ky., Mark Irvin and his wife Margie of Keavy, Ky., Missie Irvin of Williamsburg, Ky., and Kris Wallace of Lexington, Ky.; and three great-grandchildren, Nicholas Snyder, Korey Snyder and Kendra Irvin.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 13, at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel on Master Street in Corbin, Kentucky, with Brother Jack Bunch and Brother Russell Stidham officiating. Interment will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.

Verda Hibbard, 89, of Camperdown Court, Lexington, Kentucky, died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at the Christian Health Center.
Born January 30, 1912, in Clay County, Kentucky, she was a homemaker, a member of the Leatherwood Baptist Church in Perry County, Kentucky, and attended the Freedom Valley Baptist Church in London, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maude Hacker and Rob Hacker; and her husband, Theo Hibbard.
Survivors include two daughters, Beatrice Hibbard of Las Vegas, Nev., and Gladys Owens of Lexington, Ky.; a sister, Mable Chadwell of Manchester, Ky.; a brother, James H. "Jay" Hacker of London, Ky.; two grandchildren, Scott Estepp and Rene Zornes; and a great-grandchild, Taylor Estepp.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 13, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Willard Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Swiss Colony Cemetery.
