MARION - Puella Brasher, 85, of Hammond, Ind., formerly of Marion, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at Community Hospital in Munster.
Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Brightwell; a son, Elton "Satch"; a sister, Naomi Ward; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Seven Springs Baptist Church, burial in Frances Cemetery.

Tony Hutcherson
HENDERSON - Tony Edward Hutcherson, 41, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.
He worked as a car salesman and was a licensed evangelist.
Surviving are his wife, Constance; three stepdaughters, Jamie Bennett, Alisha and Aapri Alexander; his father, Startus Hutcherson Sr.; stepmother, Celestine Hutcherson; stepfather, Leroy Bass; five sisters, Tina Smith, Celeste Hutcherson, Charla Ann Dowlen, Annabell Thompkins and Christina Bass; two brothers, Startus Jr. and Donnie; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Marable Temple Church of God in Christ in Providence, burial in Williams Cemetery
there.

MADISONVILLE - Ida Lou Kennedy, 88, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, at Madisonville Regional Medical Center.
Surviving is a sister, Elizabeth Higdon.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

OWENSBORO - Edna (Tucker) Sumner, 74, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, at Owensboro Mercy Health System.
She retired from General Electric.
Surviving are a daughter, Sandra Claycomb; a son, Terry John; two sisters, Ruby Alvey and Bessie Reisz; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at James H. Davis Funeral Home, burial in Utica Cemetery.

UNIONTOWN - Kimberly A. Goolsby, 37, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, at her home.
Surviving are her husband, Donald Ray; a daughter, Chasity Burke; a son, Butch; her parents, Doris and Wayne Jackson; and a grandchild.

HANSON - James "J.W." Keown, 86, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, at his home.
He was a farmer and retired coal miner.
Surviving are five sons, David, Ken, Gary, Dwight and Steve; a sister, Juanita Kelley; and 10 grandchildren.

OWENSBORO - Jack W. Metcalf, 66, died at his home.
He was a self-employed painter.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy May; five daughters, Debra Creamer, Deandra Barnes, Diana Positano, Angie Faver and Jackie DeBevec; a stepson, Lester Radford; a sister, Pauline Peppenhorst; three stepsisters, Betty, Sharon and Joann Metcalf; three half brothers, Bill, Danny and Jerry; and 10 grandchildren.

Harris C. Gaddis
Harris C. Gaddis, 73, Henderson, died at 6:03 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, at Methodist Hospital.
He was a self-employed plumber and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Opal Ann Gulley Gaddis; two sons, Danny Gaddis of Tipton, Ind., and Leroy Gaddis of Bowling Green; one stepson, Maxey Cox of Henderson; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Hagerman of Little Rock, Ark.; and one brother, Marshall Gaddis of Bowling Green.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fernwood Cemetery. The Rev. Richard Merideth will officiate.
There will be no visitation.

Nancy Blackburn
PRINCETON - Nancy (Pruett) Blackburn, 69, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at the home of her son, Lee of cancer.
She had been a ward clerk at Caldwell County Hospital.
Also surviving are a son, James R.; a brother, Robert Pruett; and six grandchildren.
