Emma Tripp Baird, 91, of Hurst, Texas , formerly of Covington, died Friday at H. E. B. Hospital in Hurst. She was a retired bookkeeper.
Survivors include a son, Robert Baird of Burlington; daughters, Janet Baird of Hurst and Jean Noell of Tampa, Fla.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Latonia. Entombment will be in Floral Hills Mausoleum, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, 1885 Dixie Highway, Suite 250, Ft. Wright, Ky., 41011.

Richard Paul Barcomb, 59, of Cincinnati, formerly of Covington, died at 12:44 p.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North in Covington. He was a telemarketer with St. Anthony Messenger.
Survivors include sons, Paul J. Barcomb and John R. Barcomb, both of Minneapolis; a daughter, Michele Barcomb of Minneapolis; a brother, William Barcomb of Southampton, Mass.; and a sister, Paul Winn of Greenville, Mass.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. today at St. Francis Church, Cincinnati. Don Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.

Sandra Baxter, 17, died of a gunshot wound Saturday in her home in Florence.
She was a senior at Boone County High School, where she was active in speech and drama, and worked at Florence Buick.
Survivors include her parents, Raymond and Sandra Jean Baxter; a sister, Angie Baxter of Florence; a brother, Chris Baxter of Florence; paternal grandparents, Ted and Willa Baxter, of Salem, Ill.; maternal grandparents, Bill and Reva Smith of Greenville, Ill.; maternal great- grandmother Rachel Tetors, of Greenville, Ill.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home, Greenville, Ill. Visitation will be at 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Florence.

Wilma Mae Brewster, 69, of Newport, died Monday at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of the Open Bible Church of God, Cincinnati.
Survivors include her husband, Virgil Brewster; daughters, Mary Phelps of Newport and Melissa Spivey of Georgia; a son, Albert Brawner of Newport; a stepson, Virgil Brewster of Newport; sisters, Elizabeth Fincher of Milford, Ohio, and Daisy Fite of Cincinnati; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Matthew Bryant, 65, of Waxahachie, Texas , formerly of Grants Lick, died Sunday at his home. He was a mechanic and driver with Consolidated Freight, Dallas, and a member of Aspen Grove Lodge 397 F&AM, Grants Lick. He was a member of the Scottish Rite Indra Consistory Valley of Covington and the Syrian Shrine, Cincinnati. He was a Korean War veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Bryant; sons, Dwight Bryant of Beechmont, Ohio, and Greg Bryant of Waxahachie; daughters, Sheila Tyler and Natasha Bryant, both of Waxahachie; brothers, Everett Bryant of Danville, Delmer Bryant of Loveland, Ohio, and Walter Bryant of Nashville; a sister, Wilma Byrd of Grants Lick; and nine grandchildren.

Robert Henry Covington, 85, of Owenton, died Sunday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington. He was a farmer and a member of El Bethel Christian Church, Owenton.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Hunter Covington.

Tracy A. Fields, 23, of Burlington, was found dead Saturday at Big Bone Lick State Park in Boone County. He was a laborer with Fleet Tire Co., Florence.
Survivors include his mother, Judy Fields of Burlington; a brother, Jammie Fields of Elsmere; a sister, Becky Fields of Burlington; and maternal grandmother, Louella Lilly of Burlington.

James G. Geiger, 74, of Latonia, died at 6:40 p.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. He was a retired machinist with Powell Valve Co., Cincinnati, and a member of Holy Cross Church, Latonia. He was a member of American Legion Post 203, Latonia, and a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a sister, Clara Wilson of Latonia.

John Carmine Gentile, 69, of Covington, died at 3 p.m. Sunday at University Hospital, Cincinnati. He was a retired self-employed plumbing and electrical contractor and a member of Kelly Furnish VFW Post 7099, Covington. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Gentile; sons, John Gentile and D. J. Gentile, both of Miami and J. C. Gentile of Covington; daughters, Lani Mills of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Sharon Gentile of Miami; sisters, Antoinette LePine of Weston, Mass., and Frances Phillips of Dennis, Mass.; and five grandchildren.

Charles Earl Heisel, 55, of Covington, died Sunday at St. John Nursing Home in Covington. He was supervisor of housekeeping with St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington.

Lorraine E. Kohl, 91, of Covington, died Sunday at St. Charles Care Center in Covington. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Leo C. Kohl, died in 1980.
Survivors include a son, Paul L. Kohl of Villa Hills; a daughter, Norma K. Frede of Cincinnati; a brother, Victor "Biddy" Buhr of Ft. Wright; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Douglas S. Manning, 72, of Covington, died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North in Covington.
He was a civil engineer with Vogt, Ivers and Associates, Cincinnati, and a British Royal Army veteran of World War II.
There are no immediate survivors.
