Nelson Britnell, 72, of Crescent Springs, died at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington.
He was a retired forklift operator with the Kroger Co., Cincinnati, and a member of the Meatpackers Union and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, both in Cincinnati. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Horton Britnell; a daughter, Mary Ann Chitwood of Lordstown, Ohio; sons, Gerald Britnell of Florence, Michael Britnell of Saudi Arabia, and Robert Lee Britnell of Covington; sisters, Christine Gwin of Adger, Ala., Mary Nell Carrington of Cordova, Ala., and Elizabeth Harrison of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, Ludlow. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger.

Boyd "Logue" Carrier, 64, of Bellevue, died Thursday at St. Luke Hospital East, Ft. Thomas.
He was a retired assembler with Carson Fabricator, Wilder.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie Carrier; sons, Ron Carrier and Mike Carrier, both of Bellevue, and Ernie Carrier of Sanders; a daughter, Patricia Straub of Bellevue; a foster son, Larry Locke of Cincinnati; brothers, Harold Carrier of Bellevue, Carl Carrier of Ross and William Carrier of Cincinnati; sisters, Rose Hafley of Danville and Selma Barnett of Waynesburg; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Emma Elizabeth Dickerson Daley, 92, of Louisville, died Thursday at Eastern Star Home in Louisville.
She was a homemaker and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Ludlow, and Florence Chapter 559 Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Kessel of St. Louis; sons, John Daley and Joseph Daley, both of Ft. Thomas, William Daley of Louisville and Thomas Daley of Logan, Ga.; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Sarah Lucille Deck, 80, of Petersburg, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
She was a homemaker and a member of Petersburg Baptist Church. Her husband, Louis Hebert Deck, died in 1987.
Survivors include a brother, Stanley Rue Smith of Ft. Myers, Fla.

James Henry Grey, 70, of Cynthiana, died Thursday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Lexington. He ws a retired farmer and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a son, Martin Grey of Paris, Ky.; a daughter, Ruthie Goodpaster of Mt. Sterling; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Jane Lee Goebel Thompson Houp, 62, of Erlanger, died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington. She was a homemaker.

Clifton Housley Jr., 63, of Cincinnati, formerly of Covington, died Sunday at his home. He was an automobile salesman and an Army veteran.

Patricia Glenn Longshore, 62, of Cincinnati, formerly of Bromley, died at 11:42 p.m. Wednesday at her home. She was a social worker with University Hospital, Cincinnati, and a former member of St. James Church, Ludlow.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Van Epps of Cincinnati; sons, Ted Longshore of Cary, N.C., Kevin Longshore and Mark Longshore, both of Cincinnati; brothers, Frank Glenn of Statesboro, Ga., and Jim Glenn of Grayson; and four grandchildren.

Edith Fralix Meyer, 62, of Astor, Fla., formerly of Bracken County, died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital in West Volusia, Fla.
She was a retired clerk with the U.S. Postal Service, and a member of the Astor First Baptist Church and the Florence Senior Citizens. Her husband, Gordon Meyer, died in 1996.
Survivors include a son, Douglas Meyer of Florence; a daughter, Donna Jo Meltz of Orlando, Fla.; brothers, Chuck Fralix of Harrison County and Donnie Fralix of Lexington; a sister, Shirley Ellis of Robertson County; and one granddaughter.

He was a retired crane operator with Interlake Steel Co., Newport, and a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church, Covington.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Miller; a stepson, Ira Hewling of Taylor Mill; a daughter, Judith Ann Dezarn of Las Vegas; a sister, Faye Bishop of Covington; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Hanly "June" Peddicord Jr., 60, of Walton, was found dead Wednesday in his car in Covington. He was an employee of Metalcraft Corp., Edgewood, and a member of Morgan Christian Church, Pendleton County.
Survivors include his wife, Flora Taulbee Peddicord; daughters, Donna Jean Anglin of Walton and Angela June Waller of Verona; sons, Jeffrey Glenn Peddicord of Berry and James Dale Peddicord of Walton; sisters, Ruth Rarrieck of Falmouth and Jean Slider of New Albany, Ind.; a brother, Maurice Peddicord of Williamstown; three grandchildren and one step-granddaughter.
