Georgia Powell
Georgia Powell, 74, Corydon, died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, at her home.
She was a member of Dixie United Methodist Church for 60 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Powell, who died in 1987; and one son, Gary Powell, who died in 1991.
Survivors include one daughter, Jeanie Hardy of Corydon; two sons, Richard Powell of Henderson and Robert A. Powell of Frankfort; two sisters, Betty Mae Melton and Carolyn Shanks, both of Henderson; one brother, George W. Dixon of Henderson; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Tapp Funeral Home. The Rev. Walter McGee will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice.
Mary Ellen Hinkle
LOUISVILLE -- Mary Ellen Hinkle, 64, Louisville, formerly of Dixon, died at 9:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, at her daughter's home here.
She was a housewife. She was also a member of Slover Baptist Church in Dixon.
Survivors include one daughter, Julie Ann Greenfield of Louisville; and two brothers, Roy Lee Melton of Hopkinsville and George Melton of Providence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon. Rex Childs will officiate. Burial will be in Star Hope Cemetery
in Liberty.

CAMARILLO, Calif. -- Ann A. Watson, 67, Camarillo, formerly of Morganfield, died after a lengthy illness Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001.
She was an active member of Camarillo First Baptist Church, First Baptist Church in Morganfield, and Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Camarillo.
Survivors include her husband, Billy J. Watson of Camarillo; one daughter, Melinda Bourdon of Camarillo; one son, Greg Watson of San Diego; one sister, Patricia DeBruhl of Charleston, S.C.; one brother, Thomas Picaso of Oak Harbor, Wash.; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Morganfield. The Rev. Mark Galloway will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery
in Morganfield.

STURGIS -- Norma Lee Dailey, 54, died of cancer at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, at her home here.
Survivors include her husband, John Dailey; three sons, Wayne Dailey of Baton Rouge, La., Christopher Dailey of Henderson, and Andy Dailey of Sullivan; one sister, Jane Alexander of Evansville; and one brother, Bill Beauchamp of Geneva.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis. Bobby Hedgepath will officiate. Burial will be in Pythian Ridge Cemetery

MORGANFIELD -- Robert V. Seats, 58, died of cancer at 7:55 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001, at his home here.
He was a member of New Life Worship Center, Church of God of Prophecy. He was retired as Senior Master Sgt. after 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He was also a life member of the VFW in Uniontown. He worked for 13 years with Sonoco Products of Morganfield.
Survivors include two sons, Jason Seats and Jeremy Seats, both of Morganfield; four sisters, Marie Collins of Geneva, Virginia Livers of Morganfield, Faye Suitt of Mesa, Ariz., and Debbie Perdue of Owensboro; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. The Revs. Randy Wisdom and D.T. Fulkerson will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery

MORGANFIELD -- Pauline Moore, 83, Morganfield, died at 12:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, at Redbanks nursing home in Henderson.
She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Morganfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Moore, who died Dec. 12, 2000.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Cissell and Diane Alvey, both of Morganfield; one son, Darrell Moore of Sturgis; two sisters, Lucille Walker of Henderson and Evelyn Buckman of Morganfield; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann Catholic Church. The Rev. Pat Bittel will officiate. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery.

Franklin Leon "Cricket" Rigdon
Franklin Leon "Cricket" Rigdon, 29, Henderson, died from injuries sustained in a car accident at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Richard and Nancy Rigdon of Henderson; three stepsisters, Bandy Taylor, Mary Sutton and Barbara Hobbs, all of Henderson; one brother, George Rigdon of Henderson; one stepbrother, Michael Hobbs of Henderson; nieces and a nephew.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Tapp Funeral Home. The Rev. Thornton Stanley will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.

Joann McKee, 67, Henderson, died at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001 at her home.
She was a member of Geneva Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, William C. "Billy" McKee; one daughter, Rhonda Joan Damrath of Henderson; five sons, William Lucien "Bo" McKee of Mount Vernon, Ind., William Lanson "Lanny" McKee of Corydon, Larry Joe McKee of Evansville, Ricky Louis McKee of Anthoston and Billy Joe McKee of Henderson; her mother, Helen Thompson of Pacific, Mo.; three sisters, Jean Green of Geneva, and Martha Kelley and Vickie Yandell, both of Pacific; one brother, Bob Brown of Greenbriar, Tenn.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Bryan H. Wilson, 24, Henderson, died from injuries sustained in a car accident at 1 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Kenneth D. Wilson and Carsina L. Wilson of Henderson; one daughter, Dallys M. Wilson of Henderson; two sisters, Kristina K. Cook and Sarah B. Spink, both of Henderson; two stepsisters, Aleesha R. Turner and Cassie M. Turner, both of Henderson; one brother, Kenneth D. Wilson II of Henderson; his grandparents, Wilma J. Green of Henderson and Erdest and Bulah M. Turner of Butler County; his great-grandmother, Helen L. Stone of Henderson; nieces and nephews.

STURGIS -- Alex Scott Hall, 41, died at 9:37 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001, at his home here.
He was a member of Church of Christ in Sturgis. He worked for Pacific Bell in San Francisco.
Survivors include his parents, Alex and Gleeda Hall of Sturgis; five sisters, Dotty Short of Harrisburg, Ill., Kim Hall of Gainesville, Ga., Susy Hall of Nashville, Debby Akerson of Monument, Colo., and Beth Tobye of Naples, Fla.; nieces and nephews.

Agnes Bingham Reid
MORGANFIELD -- Agnes Bingham Reid, 93, Morganfield, died at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2001, at Morganfield Nursing and Rehab.
She formerly worked for Kentucky Utilities. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Morganfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Reid, who died in 1980.
Survivors include two sons, James Reid of Dallas and Tommy Reid of Morganfield; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a niece and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Union County. The Rev. Freddie Byrd will officiate. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery
in Union County.
