BASKETT - Maxine K. Alexander, 87, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
She was a licensed practical nurse.
Surviving are a brother, Donald "Donnie" Keach; and 13 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home in Henderson, burial in Baskett Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today and until service time at the funeral home.
Ruby Farmer
PRINCETON - Ruby Mae (Underwood) Farmer, 91, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at her home.
She retired as a retail clerk.
Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Cantrell; two sons, Charles and Tom; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Morgan's Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Catherine Hunter
MADISONVILLE - Catherine Plain Hunter, 78, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, at the home of her daughter, Karen Burnham in Bowling Green.
She was an educator.
Also surviving are a son, Kern; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time.
William Jernigan
MADISONVILLE - William H. "Bill" Jernigan, 92, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at NHC Healthcare.
He retired as an operator at a water plant.
Surviving are his wife, Lois; a daughter, Adell Hughlett; a sister, Daisy Nell Pendley; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, with burial in Vernal Grove Cemetery
in Muhlenberg County.

Laura McDaniel
OWENSBORO - Laura Mae McDaniel, 75, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at Owensboro Mercy Health System.
Surviving are four daughters, Vickie Marie Johnston, Darlene Bowlds, Laura Jane and Rita Cable; five sons, Michael McDaniel and Gene, Melton, James and Jack Cable; a sister; and 14 grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Muster Funeral Homes Livermore Chapel, burial in Island Community Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time.
Marion Morse
MADISONVILLE - Marion H. Morse, 75, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at Senior Citizens Nursing Home.
He had been a carpenter.
Surviving are his wife, Viola (Ipock); three daughters, Judy Easley, Joyce Johnson and Patricia Carner; five sons, Archie and Wayne Shelton and Kenneth, Ricky and Roger Morse; and grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Harris Funeral Home, with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Friends may call from 8 a.m. to service time.

Maxine K. Alexander, 87, Baskett, died at 4:02 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, at Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of Advance Baptist Church in Baskett and was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She retired in 1977 from Community Methodist Hospital, where she was a licensed practical nurse for 35 years. She also was an active volunteer with the American Red Cross. She was a Kentucky Colonel.
She was preceded in death by three daughters, Margaret "Mag" Billings, Mary "Toots" Lambert and Carolyn Tomblin, and one son, Allen E. Alexander.
Survivors include one brother, Donald "Donnie" Keach of Baskett; 13 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Rev. Walter McGee will officiate. Burial will be in Baskett Cemetery
in Baskett.
Friends may call until service time today at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Advance Baptist Church or the Baskett Volunteer Fire Department.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Keach, Charles Billings, Tom Tomblin, Robbie Tomblin, Don Keach Jr., Mark Keach, Billy Lambert, Jerry Lambert and Richard Keach.
William Dennis Griffin
William Dennis Griffin, 81, Henderson, died at 4 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at Medco Center of Henderson.
He was of the Methodist faith. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Eagles, the Moose, the Elks and the Fraternal Order of Foresters. He was an Army veteran who served in World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Ruby Nell Griffin; one stepdaughter, Lana Ramming Dossett of Henderson; two sisters, Lela Cruz of Henderson and Jeffie Cartwright of Owensboro; one brother, Donald Griffin of Jeffersonville, Ind.; and one grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tapp Funeral Home. The Rev. Gordon Morrison will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, where American Legion Worsham Post No. 40 will conduct full military rites.

Jerry R. Gibson
Jerry R. Gibson, 58, Henderson, died at 2:34 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at Methodist Hospital.
He was an avid hunter.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Joan; two sons, Darren Gibson of Henderson and Preston Gibson of Lexington; his parents, Cletus Gibson of Evansville and Keitha Vincent of Madisonville; a sister, Judy Browning of Hopkinsville; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Revs. Albert Wilson and Robert Wannemuehler will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Mary Lee Duncan Farler
Mary Lee Duncan Farler, 62, Henderson, died at 9:25 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, at her home.
She was a member of DuPey Baptist Church in Bluff City and enjoyed reading and traveling.
Survivors include one stepdaughter, Diana Brooks of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, Albert Crook and Ralph Crook, both of Henderson County; two stepsons, Danny Brooks and Darrel Brooks, both of Henderson; three brothers, Hamlet Duncan of Corydon, Illoff Duncan of Indiana and Jimmy Duncan of Montana; three grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Wednesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Rev. Randall Hurt will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery
in Boxville.
