Beatrice Klosterman, 88, of Florence, died at 11:59 p.m. Saturday at Woodspoint Nursing Home in Florence. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Bob Klosterman of Latonia; a sister, Dorothy Hussman of Villa Hills; and five grandchildren.

Pat Willhoite Konerman, 88, of Cincinnati, formerly of Covington, died Saturday at Wesley Hall Nursing Home in Cincinnati. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Phil Konerman, preceded her in death.

Kathryn B. Coffey Landon, 90, of Covington, died at 12:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit in Covington. She was a retired marker with John H. Shillito Co., Cincinnati, and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Covington and the Amelia, Ohio, chapter of Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband, Hobart P. Landon Sr., died in 1982.
Survivors include sons, Harry Landon of Fort Wright and Hobart P. Landon Jr. of Richwood; daughters, Jeanene Landon of Burlingame, Calif., and Carolyn Landon of Fort Wright; and a brother, Jack Coffey of Glasgow.

Shirley Prewitt Manning, 67, of Wilder, died at 2:45 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. She was a retired clerk and treasurer for the city of Wilder, and was a member of St. John Church, Wilder. She was a former member of Wilder Civic Club and Ladies Auxiliary of Wilder Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include her husband, William F. Roy R. Massey, 85, of Bellevue, died at 9:12 p.m. Thursday at Veterans Administration Hospital, Cincinnati. He was a retired owner of Ted's Cafe, Covington, and a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Bellevue; Campbell County VFW Post No. 320; and AMVETS. He was an Army veteran of World War II. His wife, Anna Connor Massey, died in 1989. A son, Burch Massey, also preceded him in death.

Norma B. Rindsberg, 97, of Milford, Ohio, died at 7:40 a.m. Friday at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, Oxford, Ohio. She was a machine operator with S&H Risenfield Clothing Co. and a member of First Baptist Church of Somerville, Ohio. Her husband, Raymond Rindsberg, died in 1989. A son, Edward, also preceded her in death. Herschel A. Schoolcraft, 60, of Crescent Springs, died Friday at Bethesda Oak Hospital, Cincinnati. He was a disabled Army veteran.

Barbara Ann Jones Schwers, 62, of Williamstown, died Saturday at her home. She was a retired employee of the Kentucky State Department of Human Resources, and a secretary with Civil Defense in Frankfort. She was a member of Williamstown United Methodist Church and a past worthy matron of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 849, Dry Ridge.

James Ross Teal, 85, of Highland Heights, died Friday at Lakeside Place Nursing Home in Highland Heights. He was a retired mail-room worker with Northern Kentucky University, a former manager of Bluebird Bakery in Wilder, and an Army veteran of World War II. His wife, Ethel Sweet Teal, died in 1991. A son, Eddie Teal, died in 1998.
Survivors include sons, Mike Teal of Highland Heights and Homer Teal of Newport; a daughter, Joyce Hall of Florence; five grandchildren;, 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Anthony Lee Thomas Whaley, the son of Amy Francis and James Whaley of Burlington, was stillborn April 13 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.

Rev. Jack D. Ross, founded Miracle Temple in Covington
As a minister, the Rev. Jack D. Ross believed in promoting goodwill, harmony and generosity. As a man, he believed in following his own advice.
Rev. Ross, an Edgewood resident, was founder and former pastor of Miracle Temple Church in Covington.
Rev. Ross, 61, of Edgewood, died Saturday at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati.
A daughter, Karen Ross of Cincinnati, said more than 100 people visited her father in the days just before his death.
One woman told of how Rev. Ross replaced all of the money she had lost when her purse was missing. Another woman told of how he bought materials and repaired her roof with his own hands. Still others spoke about how Rev. Ross bought them stock in Procter & Gamble so they could have a chance to have extra income.
'He helped people from Florida to Detroit,' Miss Ross said. 'He enjoyed visiting the sick and giving of his time.'
He was the presiding elder for the Kentucky and Tennessee District of First Born Church. He was also a retired boiler engineer with Procter & Gamble and a community activist.
Two of Rev. Ross' survivors - his wife, Willa Mae Wilson Ross and a son, Richard Ross of Covington - will continue to lead the Miracle Temple Church, his daughter said.
Rev. Ross was active in the Northern Kentucky Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance and the William Martin Northern Kentucky Community Center. He was a native of Catherine, Ala., who spent most of his life serving others, his daughter said.
Rev. Ross also had a good sense of humor and enjoyed being with his family and friends, his daughter said.
'He was very comical and tried to bring joy to life,' Miss Ross said.
'He was full of energy and was also very busy. He loved serving the Lord and his people.'
Besides his wife, daughter and son, Rev. Ross is also survived by his sons,Robert Ross of Covington, Romon Ross of Fort Wright; daughter, Sharon Norris of Covingtona foster son, Tim Ramsey of Edgewood; foster daughters, Cassie Schrode and Ethel Larkin, both of Edgewood; a brother, Henderson Ross of Cincinnati; and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Potters Temple First Born Church, Cincinnati. Visitation will be from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Miracle Temple Church, with special memorial services following; and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Potters Temple First Born Church.
