Janet Lee Burchfield, 67, of Augusta, died at 8:25 a.m. Sunday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. She was a homemaker. A son, William Edward Burchfield Jr., preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Willie Edward Burchfield; sons, Ronald Burchfield of Silver Grove, and Roy Burchfield and Charles Burchfield, both of Augusta; daughters, Jacqueline Riehel of Melbourne, Janet Holtz of West Chester, Ohio, and Gwendola Smith of Amelia, Ohio; brothers, Charles Spencer of Bethel, Ohio, and Bobby Spencer of Elsmere; sisters, Gail Spencer of Somerset, Peggy Sexton of Cincinnati, Marcella Pangallo of Newport and Gwendola Riley of Williamstown; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

James Richard Daunt, 70, of Cold Spring, died at 7:24 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a retired letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service and a past president of Postal Workers Union Local No. 374. He was a former member of the Bishop Brossart High School Development Committee and the Holy Name Society at St. Joseph Church in Cold Spring.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Rust Daunt; a daughter, Barbara A. Grainger of Cold Spring; sons, Mark J. Daunt of Sarasota, Fla. and Neal D. Daunt of Taylor Mill; a brother, Jack E. Daunt of Palm Harbor, Fla.; and three granddaughters.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas, with prayers following. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas.

Maurice Otto Dickman, 85, of Covington, died at 5:37 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Care Center in Fort Wright.
He was a retired personnel director with the H. & S. Pogue Co. Department Store in Cincinnati and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Narcissus Dickman.

She was a homemaker, a member of Florence Methodist Church and the Kenton County Homemakers Club, and was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Gallatin County Fish and Game Club. Her husband, Carrell McFarland, died in 1996.

LaVeda Marie Rhoten, 84, of Independence, died at 3:20 a.m. Sunday at Lakeside Place Nursing Home, Highland Heights. She was a homemaker. Her first husband, Lynne J. Green Sr., died in 1932. Her second husband, Edison Rhoten, died in 1988.
Survivors include a son, Lynne J. Green of Independence; a brother, Howard Hockman of Yuma, Ariz.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
