Ethelda Bryson Breyley, 80, of Cincinnati, formerly of Covington, died at 9:10 p.m. Monday at Brighton House in Cincinnati. She was a retired teacher from Kenton County Public Schools, and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Covington.
She was a member of the Kentucky and Northern Kentucky Retired Teachers Associations. Her husband, Ray R. Breyley, died in 1984.
Survivors include sons, R. Louis Breyley of New Burlington, Ohio, and Ray Bryson Breyley of Danville, Ill.; daughters, Betty Isaacs of Bethlehem, Pa., and Reynolds Breyley of Park Hills; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Disease Association, 644 Linn St., Cincinnati, Ohio 45203. Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.

Bailey Combs, 4 months, of Newport, died Monday at his home.
Survivors include his parents, Shannon Combs and Thomas Campbell of Newport; a sister, Shawnaa Combs at home; grandparents, Debra Wayson of Ft. Thomas and Dora Campbell of Florence; and great-grandparents, John and Peggy Combs of Newport.

Omer Conyers, 94, of Georgetown, formerly of Berry, died Monday at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington. He was a retired farmer and a member of Riverview Baptist Church, Harrison County.
Survivors include stepsons, Warren Fogle and Fenton Fogle, both of Georgetown; stepdaughters, Jo Ann Switzer of Cynthiana, Janie Smith of Georgetown and Doralee Williams of Lexington.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Fellowship Church, Georgetown. Burial will be in Pythian Grove Cemetery, Berry. Woodhead Funeral Home, Berry, is handling arrangements.

William Gordon Faulkner, 82, of Cynthiana, died Tuesday at V.A. Medical Center, Lexington. He was a retired farmer and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include brothers, Melvin Faulkner, Thomas Faulkner and Stanley Sanford Faulkner, all of Harrison County; and a sister, Catherine Smith of Harrison County.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ware Funeral Home, Cynthiana. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ravens Creek Cemetery, Harrison County.

Calvin Henson, 74, of Mt. Olivet, died Tuesday at Harrison Memorial Hospital, Cynthiana. He was a retired farmer and president, treasurer and former employee of Mt. Olivet Natural Gas Co.
He was a trustee, deacon and Sunday school superintendent of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, a member of the Mt. Olivet Lions Club, and a 24-year member of the Robertson County School Board. He was a member of the Robertson County Soil and Water Conservation Advisory Board, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Brayfield Henson; sons, Nelson Henson of Frankfort, Rodney Henson of Alexandria and Travis Henson of Cynthiana; a daughter, Shauna Case of Mt. Olivet; a brother, Porter Henson of Mt. Olivet; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Robertson County Funeral Home in Mt. Norma G. Owens, 89, of Ft. Wright, died at 7:10 a.m. Tuesday at her home. She was a retired sales clerk. Her husband, Elmer Owens, died in 1972.
Survivors include sons, Ken Owens of Alexandria and Robert Owens Aberdeen, Md.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Kelly Riley, 58, of Covington, died Jan. 23 at his home. He was a retired model maker with Institutional Industries, Cincinnati, and a former employee of Robert Beck Co., Cincinnati. A daughter, Connie Sue Riley, died in 1957.

Martin Roberts, 89, of Ft. Myers, Fla., formerly of Ft. Wright, died Tuesday at his home. He was a retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service, Covington, and a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Ft. Wright, and Covington Masonic Lodge No. 109. His wife, Ethel Roberts, died in 1993.
Survivors include sons, William Roberts of Ft. Myers, Fla., and David Roberts of Somerset; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Irene A. Thomas, 95, of Independence, died Tuesday at Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport. She was a homemaker and a member of Squiresville Baptist Church, Owenton, and Faith Rebekah Lodge, Owenton. Her husband, Hubert L. Thomas Sr., preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Hubert L. Thomas Jr. of Lawrenceburg; a daughter, Joyce Minch of Independence; a brother, Percy Walker of Hanover, Ind.; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Elva G. Williams, 85, of Latonia, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a homemaker, and a member of Carter's Chapel United Methodist Church, Demossville.
Survivors include sons, James G. Williams of Independence and Lewis Jeff Williams of Piner; a sister, Hilda Williams of Latonia; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Lois Bourne, Peoples Bank officer
Lois June Bourne was a bright, energetic woman who helped many people while she was the the vice-president of Peoples Bank and Trust Co. in Owen County.
Mrs. Bourne, 67, of Owenton, retired in 1994 after working at the bank for more than 20 years. She took advantage of classes at the bank, said Max Bourne, her husband of 49 years.
"She was independent, she spoke her own word. But she had a lot of people calling on her," Mr. Bourne said. "A lot of people who worked with her thought she was great."
Mrs. Bourne died Tuesday at Owen County Hospital in Owenton. She was a native of Owen County and met her future husband there after he returned from a stint in the Navy after World War II.
"She was a young, beautiful girl. We had a lot of good times," Mr. Bourne said.
His wife enjoyed fishing, shopping and traveling, he said.
"Anything she did, she did it well," Mr. Bourne said.
Survivors also include sons, Ricky Bourne and Andy Bourne, both of Owenton; a daughter, Becky Shryock of Owenton; brothers, Billy Joe Duvall, Donald Duvall and Marc Duvall, all of Owenton, and Larry Duvall of Bradenton, Fla.; sisters, Dixiana Wilson of Wheatley and Kathy Schell of Owenton; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McDonald Funeral Home, Seminary Street, Owenton. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Owenton.
