Nancy Anne Roberts, 66, of Florence, died Tuesday at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati. She was an accounting secretary with Arthur Andersen, Florence.
Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Roberts of Florence; and a brother, Hugh Buddy Roberts of Memphis, Tenn.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice. Stith Funeral Home, Florence, is handling arrangements.

Willis "Gene" Robinson, 62, of Bellevue, died at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday at his home. He was a retired maintenance supervisor with Precision Packaging, a member of Kelly Furnish VFW Post No. 7099 in Covington, and an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Martin Robinson; sons, Gary Robinson of Bellevue and Rob Robinson of Wilder; a daughter, Jacquelyn Feldman of Bellevue; brothers, Kenneth Robinson of Dayton, Terry Robinson of Bellevue and Edward Robinson of Cincinnati; sisters, Geraldine Russell of Livingston, Joyce Vinson of Ft. Thomas, Shirley McPherson of Knoxville, Tenn., Ann Moahabee of Elsmere and Brenda Watton; six grandchildren and one great- grandchild.

Charles "Bud" Schaefer, 76, of Dayton, died at 8:30 p.m. Monday at St. Luke Hospital East, Ft. Thomas.
He was a retired shop foreman with Avco International, Cincinnati, and a Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Schmidt Schaefer; daughters, Delores Stuttler of Cold Spring and Marlene Joyce Root of Bellevue; a sister, Bernice Schaefer of Sarasota, Fla.; a half-sister, Marie Lange of San Diego; 13 grandchildren and 24 great- grandchildren.

Thelma L. Thomas, 86, of Crittenden, died at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday at a niece's home in Crittenden. She was a member of Walton Street Baptist Church, Owensboro. Her husband, Frank B. Thomas, died in 1997.
Survivors include brothers, Henry Griffith and George Griffith, both of Covington.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. CDT Saturday at Elmwood Cemetery, Owensboro. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, Ludlow.

Kaitlyn Hayley Witt and Dakota Scott Witt, the children of Bryan and Tracy Witt of Covington, were stillborn Tuesday at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati.
Other survivors include grandparents, Margaret Witt of Independence, and Herbert and Helen Cummins of Covington.

Robert Budde of Covington, shared optimism with others
Robert Budde took the time in life to enjoy simple pleasures.
He enjoyed Big Band music. He had a passion for the Cincinnati Reds. And he could tell a joke or two.
"He was the sweetest, kindest, gentlest person I have ever known," said a niece, Marsha Graue of Covington, who took care of Mr. Budde.
"He never complained."
Mr. Budde, 77, of Covington, died at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Baptist Conva lescent Center, Newport. He was a re tired meat cutter with Kroger's and a member of St. Augustine Pathfinders, Holy Name Society and Knights of Co lumbus. He also was an Army veteran of World War II. His wife, Viola Budde, died in 1987.
Mr. Budde, a native of Northern Kentucky, had a sunny attitude that was infectious, his niece said.
"He was a very gentle soul. He had a dry wit," Ms. Graue said.
Other survivors include a sister, Ruth Graue of Ft. Wright.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustine Church, Covington. Visitation will begin there at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright. Arrangements are through Don Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Covington.
Dorothy Atha, 67, of Dry Ridge, died at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood, after an extended illness. She was a homemaker and a member of Elliston Baptist Church, Grant County.
Survivors include her husband, Larry M. Atha; sons, Ronald W. Atha of Dry Ridge and Dennis M. Atha of Verona; a daughter, Donna Jean Carnes of Dry Ridge; brothers, Donald Brashear and Steve Brashear, both of Warsaw; a sister, JoAnn Peace of Glencoe; and 13 grand children.

Francis W. Carter, 90, of Omaha, Neb., formerly of Day ton, died Tuesday at Skyline Manor in Omaha. He was a re tired postal supervisor with the U.S. Postal Service, and a mem ber of Calvary Tower United Methodist Church in Bellevue and Henry Barnes Masonic Lodge No. 607, Dayton. His wives, Mildred Blackburn Carter and Ida Wetzel Wessling Carter, both preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, G. Richard Carter of Omaha; a daughter, Patricia Weiss of Jer sey City, N.J.; a brother, Richard Carter of Hudson, Fla.; a sister, Ellen Schloss of Claremont, Calif.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Brittany Haubner, 8 weeks, of Falmouth, died Thursday at her home.
Survivors include her parents, Roger and Kathy Lucas Haubner; brother, Ronald Felty Jr.; sisters, Kathrien Haubner and Tiffany Haubner; grandparents, Elsie Haubner, and Alex and Patricia Lucas, all of Falmouth.

Blanche K. Marksberry Henry, 92, of Covington, died at 6:06 a.m. Wednesday at her home. She was a retired employee of Cincinnati Gas & Electric Co., and a former seamstress with Fashion Frock, Cincinnati. She was a member of Marcus Crooked Creek Baptist Church. A son, Harold Lee Henry, died in 1997.
Survivors include sons, Buford G. "Boots" Henry of Williamstown and Marvin W. Henry of Dry Ridge; a daughter, F. Louise Bivens of Burlington; nine grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Felbert Marshall, 74, of Maysville, died Wednesday at Eagle Creek Nursing Home, West Union, Ohio. He was a retired shoe crowner with U.S. Shoe Corp., Maysville, and an Army veteran. His wife, Callie Marie Marshall, preceded him in death.
Survivors include sons, Rick Marshall of Flemingsburg and Kennard Marshall of San Antonio; a daughter, Lisa Crump of Mt. Mae Rutherford, 81, of Burlington, died Thursday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. She was a retired manager with Mona Corp., Erlanger, and a member of Order of the Eastern Star and Newport Full Gospel Assembly. A daughter, Flossie Clayton, died in 1995.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Heck of Burlington; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Inez V. Bihl Waters, 78, of Bellevue, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington. She was a homemaker and a member of Christian Mothers of Sacred Heart, Bellevue.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Waters; sons, Michael Waters and Thomas Waters, both of Bellevue, Paul Waters of Cold Spring and Dennis Waters of Ft. "Big" Stewart of Newport: big heart matched big size
William J. "Big" Stewart had a generous heart to match his 6-foot-5-inch frame.
"He was intimidating, but he was a pushover," said his wife, Kim Stewart.
"He was a big scruffy guy with a great big heart."
Mr. Stewart, 55, of Newport, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington.
He was a former carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Cincinnati and a veteran of the Air Force.
As a young man, Mr. Stewart was a bouncer at several Newport nightclubs. Mrs. Stewart said his tough-guy job didn't keep him from helping others.
"He couldn't say no to anybody. I mean anybody," she said.
The Stewarts were married in 1988 and spent most of their time together.
"We were inseparable from the day we got married," Mrs. Stewart said.
Mr. Stewart graduated from Lloyd High School, where he played football.
His sister, Joy Sullivan of Florence, said that her kid brother was a rascal when she was dating in high school, finding creative ways to pester the boys that came courting her.
Survivors include a son, Jason Stewart of Park Hills; a daughter, Jody Eversole of Covington; stepdaughters, Mary Moore of Latonia, Tiffany Oliver of Newport and Becky Ament of Batavia, Ohio; and his mother, Eila Stewart of Ft. Thomas.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger.
