Florence Josephine Crout, 85, of Florence, died at 8:15 a.m. Sunday at Woodspoint Nursing Home, Florence. She was a homemaker and attended Gathering Place Church, Florence. Her husband, Arthur Crout, died in 1995.
Survivors include sons, Kenneth A. Crout of Panama Beach, Fla., Norman E. Crout of Latonia and Walter R. Crout of Spokane, Wash.; and a daughter, Ruth M. Tibbetts of Spokane, Wash.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Disease Association, 644 Linn St., Cincinnati, Ohio 45203.

Edward "Pert" Fisk, 73, of Independence, died at 4:47 p.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a retired truck driver with Edgcomb Metal Co., Cincinnati, and a member of Independence Lions Club Ralph Fulton VFW Post No. 6423 Honor Guard, Elsmere, and Golden Rule Masonic Lodge, Covington.
Survivors include his wife, Emogene Hopperton Fisk; a son, Mark Fisk of Taylor Mill; a daughter, Marla Johnson of Crestview Hills; brothers, R. C. Fisk of Dry Ridge, Adrian Fisk of Lake Oswego, Ore., and Maurice D. Fisk of Cincinnati; sisters, Eulah Durr of Demossville, Beulah Pelley of Taylor Mill, Edith Redman of Morning View and Nina Hopperton of Dry Ridge; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Independence. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Independence.
Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Marian Penn Frommel, 82, of Cincinnati, died Saturday at her home. She was a registrar with the College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, and a retired secretary with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Board of Education.
She was a member of St. Rose Church in Cincinnati, the Sons and Daughters of Pioneer Rivermen, the Ohio River Launch Club, United States Power Squadron and the Cincinnati Propeller Club.
Her husband, Marion Frommel, died in 1982.
Survivors include daughters, Donna Jean Hoffman of Ft. Thomas and Deborah Jo Wilde boer of Southgate; and three grandchildren.
Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Rose Church. Gary R. Hunt, 47, of Carrollton, died Monday at Suburban Hospital, Louisville, after a long illness. He was a former machinist with Arvin-Sango Corp. in Madison, Ind., and a member of Pleasureville Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Wallace Hunt; daughters, Rachel E. Hunt and Sara R. Hunt, both at home; sisters, Thelma Lafferre of Louisville, Lynda Poynter of Eminence, Mary Carole Hall of Campbellsburg and Nina Colson of New Castle; and brothers, Gayle Hunt of New Castle, Ercill R. Hunt and Laymon Hunt, both of College Station, Texas .

Ruth H. DeCrane Mezera, 56, of Independence, died at 7:45 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was an activity director with St. Charles Care Center, Covington.
Survivors include her husband, George R. Mezera; a son, David Mezera of Dayton, Ohio; daughters, Jill Csillag of Dayton, Ohio, and Janelle Mezera of Independence; a sister, Pat Cowan of Wichita, Kan.; a brother, James DeCrane of Indianapolis; and five grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Church of the Ascension in Kettering, Ohio. Mrs. Mezera's body was donated to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

George E. Miller, 60, of Owenton, died at Sunday at his home. He was a retired custodian from the Owen County Court House.
Survivors include his wife, Fannie Dunn Miller; a daughter, Jennifer L. Miller of Owenton; sons, George A. Miller and Johnny Miller, both of Owenton; sisters, Shirley Hartfield, Carole Ann Schafer and Donna Lee Brunner, all of Ft. Bruce L. Mineer Jr., 71, of Clarkson, formerly of Williamstown, died at 9:30 a.m. Friday at his home. He was a retired employee of Keith Monument Co., Louisville, and a former employee of Louisville Catholic Cemetery. He also was an Army veteran of World War II.

Julia Oppel, 93, of Erlanger, died Monday at Gardenview Nursing Home, Cincinnati. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Louis Eugene Oppel, died in 1984.
Survivors include a daughter, Doris Newman of Erlanger; a sister, Marie Watkins of Lafayette, Ind.; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Hazel Ashcraft Rumford, 87, of Augusta, died Saturday at Meadowview Regional Medical Center, Maysville. She was a factory worker.
Her husband, Robert "Dick" Rumford, died in 1977.
Survivors include a sister, Edna Earl Ritchie of Cynthiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Edward J. Sarsfield, 73, of Union, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a retired sheet-metal worker with the U.S. government, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a son, Joseph E. Sarsfield of Union; three grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren.
