Lyda Rapp Rees Finnell, 91, of Independence, died at 5:42 p.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a retired factory worker with Gibson Greeting Card Co., and a member of Staffordsburg United Methodist Church, Staffordsburg Homemaker and Taylor Mill Senior Citizens.
Survivors include stepsons, Ray Finnell of Edgewood and Jerry Finnell of Independence.

Elmo Eckler Hedges, 82, of Dry Ridge, died Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington. He was a farmer, a member of Dry Ridge Baptist Church, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Norton Hedges; a brother, Kline Hedges of Williamstown; and a sister, Patricia Hanna of Media, Pa.

Pauline Jones, 73, of Williamstown, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Grant County, Williamstown. She was a homemaker. A son, Jerry Whitaker, died in 1988.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence E. Jones; sons, Riley Whitaker of Paris, Ky., and Earl Jones of Mishawaka, Ind.; a sister, Alice Sorrell of Cynthiana; a brother, Leo Hatfield of Muncie, Ind.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Dana Steven Kidd, 25, of Dry Ridge, was found dead March 17 near Ky. 22 west of Dry Ridge. He was a farm worker. Survivors include his mother, Barbara Stone Stith of Dry Ridge; sisters, Barbara Turner and Pamela Walls, both of Williamstown; brothers, Tom Stone, Rick Vagedes, Darrin Vagedes and Dwain Vagedes, all of Dayton, Ohio; and a grandmother, Mary Stone of Williamstown.

Rosella McCormick, 90, of Jamestown, Ind., formerly of Northern Kentucky, died at 11:05 a.m. Sunday at English Estates Health Care Center in Lebanon, Ind. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church. Her husband, Harry De witt McCormick, died in 1960. A daughter, Frances Mardis, died in 1976. A son, Ronald Dean McCormick, died in 1929.
Survivors include daughters, Joyce Florence of Jamestown, Ind., Jean Young of Fayetteville, Ohio, Mary Majors of Lakeland, Fla., and Dorothy Chapman of West Alexandria, Ohio; sons, Ernest Roy McCormick of Osgood, Ind., James Allen "Pete" McCormick of Cincinnati and Nelson Ray "Mike" McCormick of Covington; 26 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Lindsey May Rose, 2 days, the daughter of Margie and Ken Rose of Newport, died Saturday at University Hospital in Cincinnati.

Rev. Harry Seale, 99, of Newport, died Monday at Bethesda North Hospital, Cincinnati. He was a Nazarene minister for more than 30 years and pastored several churches, including the First Church of the Nazarene in Newport.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Biery Seale; a stepdaughter, Rebecca Biery Wagner of Ft. Thomas; stepsons, Jerry Whitson and Howard Whitson, both of Cincinnati; five step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

Bernadette T. Sturm, 90, of Dayton, died at 12:28 a.m. Sun day at Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport. She was a homemaker, a member of Sacred Heart Church, Bellevue, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of St. John, and Dayton Homemakers. Her husband, Lawrence "Fiddy" Sturm, died in 1987.

Kathleen "Nanny" Wilhoite, 68, of Kimper, died Saturday at her daughter's home in Kimper. She was a former nurses' aide in Owenton, a former employee with L&M Mart in Kimper, and a member of Gabriel Church of Christ, Kimper.
Survivors include sons, Ricky Wilhoite and Wayne Wilhoite, both of Owenton; a daughter, Robbie Justice of Kimper; a sister, Elizabeth Doane of Frankfort; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
