Rose Ellen Cartwright, 81, of Florence, died Friday at Florence Park Care Center, Florence. She was a teacher with St. Henry High School, Elsmere, and a member of St. Henry Church and American Association of Retired Persons. Her husband, Glenn Cartwright, died in 1982. A son, Jack Cartwright, died in 1954.
Survivors include a son, James Cartwright of Erlanger; a daughter, Mary Ellen Cooley of Independence; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Henry Church. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright. Memorials are suggested to St. Henry School, 3825 Dixie Highway, Elsmere, Ky. 41018. Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger, is handling arrangements.

Hazel Marie Collignon, 87, of Cerritos, Calif., formerly of Falmouth, died Thursday in California. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include daughters, Joann Quick of Sun City, Calif., Barbara Benefiel of Cerritos, Calif., and Carolyn Bryan of Williams, Ind.; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth.

William E. Craig, 65, of Corinth, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Grant County, Williamstown. He was a heavy-equipment operator with Coppage Construction Co., Kenton County, a member of Turners Club in Covington, and a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Dean Craig; sons, Jim Craig of Union and Joe Craig of Covington; stepsons, Doug Ingle and Darrell Ingle, both of Ft. Wright, and Bob Ingle of Wallace Woods; sisters, Lovella Staiger of Cincinnati, Lillian Lanham of Independence, Geneva Thacker of South Carolina and Betty Ann Lynch of Covington; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.

Pearl Gillespie Deaton, 79, of Newport, died Saturday at her daughter's home in Erlanger. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Walter Deaton, died in 1994.
Survivors include sons, Gary Deaton of Wilder and Thomas Stanfield of Newport; daughters, Connie Powell of Erlanger and Barbara Retherford of Elsmere; a brother, Berl Gillespie of Lexington; sisters, Mae Holland and Frances Spencer, both of Clay City, Annie Hall and Bessie Morefield, both of Winchester; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Frank John Fessler Jr., 77, of Alexandria, died at 6:40 p.m. Friday at his home. He was a clerk with the B&O Railroad, and a member of St. Joseph Church in Cold Spring, Lawler-Hanlon VFW Post No. 5662 in Newport and the Brotherhood of Railway Clerks. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Graus Fessler; a son, Frank John Fessler of Taylor Mill; a daughter, Virginia Smith of Alexandria; a brother, Jack Fessler of Newport; and seven grandchildren.

Ronnie Darrell Griffith Jr., 19, of Latonia, died Friday in Newport in an auto accident. He was an installer with A&E Remodeling.
Survivors include a son, Jonathan Derick Griffith of Latonia; his mother, Debbie Griffith of Newport; his father and stepmother, Ronnie and Linda Griffith of Latonia; sisters, Jamie Griffith of Southgate, Dawn Griffith of Latonia and Stevie Griffith of Newport; brothers, Darrell Cromer and Justin Cromer, both of Latonia; and grandparents, Betty Moore of Alexandria, Mitchell Griffith of Latonia, and Dorothy and Harold Lipscom of Covington.

Loujean Hundemer, 67, of Bellevue, died at 2:13 a.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a teacher at Bellevue High School and was instrumental in starting the Bellevue High School All School Reunion. She was also an instructor with the Coney Island Swim and Tennis Program. Her husband, Willard Hundemer, died in 1993.
Survivors include a son, Hank Hundemer of Bellevue; a daughter, Hallie Hundemer of Bellevue; and a brother, William Longshore of Alexandria.

Vivian Evans Kull, 87, of Cincinnati, formerly of Williamstown, died Friday at Florida Fish Memorial Hospital, Orange City, Fla. She was a retired inspector with General Electric, Cincinnati. Her husband, Albert F. Kull, died in 1974.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Valentine of Mason, Ohio; a son, Joseph G. Myers of Deltona, Fla.; a sister, Evelyn Powell of Williamstown; a brother, Ward B. Evans of Williamstown; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Sara Margaret Leggett Middleton, 71, of Dry Ridge, died Friday at her home. She was a retired teacher with the Grant County School System, a member of Dry Ridge Christian Church, and the church Disciples of Christ Women's Fellowship.
She was a member of the University of Kentucky Alumni Association, and was awarded the William Cox Memorial Award from the Dry Ridge Kiwanis Club in 1986; and the Excellence in Education award from the Grant County Chamber of Commerce in 1987; the Distinguished Service Award in Recognition and Appreciation for Outstanding Service to the Northern Kentucky University of Kentucky Club in 1996.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Middleton of Dry Ridge. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
