The family of David K. Williams will receive friends at the Teetersville Baptist Church on Monday, May 18, 2009, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 p.m
Funeral:
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Kyle Burnette and the Reverend Billy Howell presiding.
Burial:
Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday May 19, 2009 at Resthaven cemetery at Keith, KY with Masonic rites being observed by Harlan Lodge #879 F & AM. Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Survivors:
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 33 years, Terri Williams; a son, David Kent Williams II and wife, Leesa, of Corbin; a daughter, Katherine (Katie) Lynn Schmidt and husband, Covie, of Lexington, KY; a granddaughter, Josie Williams; and a grandson, Colton Schmidt, who were the twinkle in his eyes. A brother, George Williams, Sunshine; three sisters, Betty Cassim, Teetersville; Mary Blanton, Rosspoint; and Michelle Gritsko, Runnemede, New Jersey; His mother-in-law, Carol Lasley Williams; brother-in-law, Robert Williams, and sister-in-law, Toni Farmer; he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends; two special workers, Jack Napier and Mark Sutton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George McKinley and Mabel Wilder Williams, and sister, Alice Faye Dickensheets.
Facts:
Harlan County Surveyor and local businessman, David K. Williams, 52 of Teetersville passed into the arms of his Savior on Friday morning, May 15, 2009, following a short bout with cancer with his family by his bedside at the Harlan ARH. Mr. Williams was a Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent of the Teetersville Baptist Church and member of the Harlan Lodge # 879 F & AM. He was owner/operator of David Williams Land Surveying Company for the past 13 years. He was a graduate of LMU and the Harlan Independent School System. He loved to hunt, fish and garden .

Frieda Saylor Blanton 72, of Wallins, Ky. passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008. Following a illness. She was born February 19, 1935 in Wallins, Ky. Mrs. Blanton was a homemaker and was formerly employed by the Harlan Senior Citizens Center. She was a member of the Kentenia Full Gospel Church.

Ashley Nicole Gibson & Shawna Allene Gibson. Five special friends; Janice & Mack Middleton, Beth Goodman, Darlene Davis & Austalia Rhodes. 10 Nephews & 8 nieces and several other relatives and friends also survive.

Polly Jane Clem, 83 of Cawood, was born on August 13, 1924 and went to be with Jesus on January 28, 2008 at the Britthaven of Pineville following a long illness. Mrs. Clem was a homemaker and a mother raising 13 children. She believed in the Holiness faith and attended Cawood Holiness Church where she worshipped her Lord and Savior.

Mrs. Hensley was retired from, the Harlan Co. Board of Education after many years of service. She also believed in the Church of God faith.

Frank Allen, 57, of Ages, was born on Saturday, November 18, 1950 and went home to be his Lord and Savior Monday evening, January 28, 2008 at St. Joseph East in Lexington, KY after a long illness. He was a disabled coal miner and a member of the Ages Pentecostal Church.

Odell J. Shepherd, 86 of Pansy passed away Thursday March 27, 2008 at the Harlan ARH. Mr. Shepherd a native of Harlan Co. was born January 2, 1922 to the William E. and Daisy Fee Shepherd. He was a retired Police Officer with the Harlan City Police and believed in the Baptist faith.
