Taylor, Albert
Mr. Albert TAYLOR, age 90, a resident of Arjay, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 6, 1992, at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital in Middlesboro, Kentucky.
He was born June 29, 1902 in Lerose, Kentucky to the Late William TAYLOR and Laura SLATER.
He was a member of the White Mountain Pentecostal Church and was a president of the local union of UMWA.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Goldie KING, a sister, Ida VAUGHN, and four brothers, Ike, Thomas, Edison and Floyd TAYLOR.
Left to mourn his passing are the following members of his family: his wife, Carrie TAYLOR, Arjay, Kentucky; three daughters, Lola LAWSON, Dayton, Ohio; Betty Jo BISHOP, Arjay, Kentucky; Beulah Faye PHILLIPS, Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Also surviving is one sister: Cordia CARPENTER, Cawood, Kentucky. Nine grandchilden, eighteen great grand chldren and nine great great grandchildren also survive.
Services for Mr. TAYLOR were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Durham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. George NEAL and Gary WAGNER officiating.
Burial followed in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens at Middlesboro, KY. Pallbearers were friends of the family.
Durham Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Taylor, Arlie Deaton
MIDDLESBORO - Arlie Deaton Taylor, 73, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, at the Tri-State Manor Nursing Home.
Born in Bell County in 1932, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Sarah Hinkle Deaton. She was a member of the Monarch Church of God Mtn. Assembly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vantoy Taylor; three children, Jimmy Taylor, Shirley Ann Taylor and Lillie Miller; one granddaughter, Rhonda Lynn Miller; three brothers, Earl Dean Deaton, Herbert Deaton and Robert Lee Deaton; two sisters, Elvie Hensley and Allifair Lewis; one son-in-law, Ronnie Lynn Miller.
Survivors include five children, Bennie Taylor of Middlesboro, Bobbie Jackson and fiancé' Junior Rice of Middlesboro, James Taylor and wife Mary of Corbin; Anna Shackleford and husband Preston of Harrogate, Tenn., and Evelyn Lee and husband Arnold of Harrogate, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Shirley Taylor, Robin Carnes, Travis Taylor, Jerry Taylor and wife Victoria Taylor, Dewana Abbott and husband Benji, Stephanie Jordan, and Stephen Lee; 11 great-grandchildren; and a special nephew, Harold Hensley and wife Anna.
Funeral services will be held at Friday at 11 a.m. at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Wagner presiding.
Interment will be in the Beverly cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Taylor, Preston Shackleford, Benji Abbott, Joey Jackson, Christopher Sinkhom, and Ken Abner.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, which is in charge of arrangements.
Taylor, Bessie Irene Hale
age 95, of Jellico died Feb. 212004 at Jellico Community Hospital.
preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Taylor; son, Billy Paul Taylor; parents, Thomas and Parrie Coleburn Hale; seven brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her son, Donald Taylor, Jellico; daughter, Arta Faye Pace, Jellico; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Griffey, Cincinnati, Oh, Eva Hale, Cincinnati, Oh; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Werkm Lester, Jellico and Lillie Hale, Williamsburg, Oh; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Feb. 23 at the Harp Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Wilson officiating.
Interment was in the Douglas cemetery.

66, Of Jellico died Saturday, June 5, 1999 at Mercy Franciscan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was preceded in death by father, Charles "Red" Taylor. Survivors include mother, Bessie Taylor of Jellico. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 9 at Harp Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Wilson officiating. Military honors were conducted by Campbell County Honor Guard.

Arjay - Charles Austin Taylor, infant son of Charles Arthur and Donna Faye Hensley Taylor passed away on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005.
He was born on Aug. 17, 2005, Knoxville.
Survivors include his parents, Charles Arthur and Donna Faye Taylor; sister, Christy Marie Gambrel; grandparents, Ellen and Richard Taylor, and Hazel and Donnie Hensley; great-grandparents, Ethel Taylor, Dora Hensley and Mattie Frye; uncles, Albert Hensley and friend, Erin Jones, Darrel Taylor and friend, Tammy Taylor, and Robert and Pam Taylor; cousin, Mallory Taylor, Aunt Deedee; and a host of other relatives, friends and neighbors.
Services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with the Rev. James Polly presiding.
Music will be by Theda Polly.
Burial will be in the Taylor Family cemetery at Buffalo.
Pallbearers will be Albert Hensley, Darrel Taylor, Robert Taylor, Tommy Saylor and Garrett Saylor.

TAYLOR, Elsie MILLS
age 74, a resident of Arjay, KY, passed away Monday, December 7, 1987 at her home.
She was born March 31, 1913 in Knox County, KY, the daughter of the late Jim MILLS and Elizabeth GRAY MILLS.
She believed in the Holiness faith.
She is survived by one son, Vanatory TAYLOR, Arjay; four sisters: Mrs. Bertha BARGO, Grays, KY; Mrs. Lillie TOLES, Mrs. Millie NEAL and Mrs. Roberts MILLS, all of Arjay; two brothers, Bricy MILLS and Fred MILLS, both of Grays, five grandchildren.Services for Mrs. TAYLOR were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 1987 at the Durham Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George NEAL.
Burial followed in the White Mountain cemetery, Arjay, KY.
Friends of the family served as pallbearers.

Taylor, Geraldine Hubbard
ARJAY - Geraldine Hubbard Taylor, 49, passed away on Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital.
She was born in Arjay on Oct. 18, 1956, the daughter of Robert and Gracie Gambrel Hubbard.
She was a member of Straight Creek Pentecost Holiness Church, and had been the secretary chief for the Department of Family and Children in Pineville.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Jesse Lee Taylor; children, Laura Jean Taylor, Matthew Taylor and wife Shannon, Amanda Grace Taylor, Jessica Ann Taylor and Joseph Lee Taylor; grandson, Matthew Blake Taylor; parents, Hobert and Gracie Hubbard; brothers, Arthur Hubbard, Dewey Hubbard, Leonard Hubbard, Virgil Hubbard and Dale Hubbard; mother-in-law, Ethel Brock Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be at 2 p.m. at the Straight Creek Pentecost Holiness Church with the Rev. George Neal and the Rev. David Howard presiding.
Burial will be in the Saylor cemetery at Brock Hollow. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Taylor, Jewell Joe
65, of London, passed away Thursday at the University of Tennessee Speciality Hospital.
He was a son of the late Edison Taylor and Nona Rice Taylor.
He is survived by his children, Kathy Vernice Browning, Karen Sue Honeycutt, Carla Joe Smith and Clifton Jerome Taylor; stepchildren, Janie and Brian Shaffer, Jennifer Shirley and Mike Setser; ex-wife, Dorothy Thomas; one brother, Cliff Taylor; one sister, Lula Kendrick; 17 grandchildren.
Services were conducted Tuesday at the Living Waters Pentecostal Church in Bimble.
Burial was in Norvell cemetery in Laurel County.
Arrangements were by Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin.

PINEVILLE - Linda Beverly Taylor, 84, of White Mountain in Arjay, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2006, at the Pineville Community Hospital.
She was born in Moore's Creek, Ky., on May 2, 1922, a daughter of the late Richard and Callie Smith Beverly.
She was a believer in the Pentecostal and Holiness faith and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Ike Taylor; sons, Charles and William Taylor; great-grandchild, Ada Marie Taylor; brothers, Flem, Archie, Oscar and Jim Beverly; and sisters, Ellen Beverly and Ada Garland.
Survivors include her children and the spouses, Elmer and Allene Taylor of Arjay, Eddie Ray and Linda Taylor of Flat Lick, Golden and Louise Taylor of White Mountain, Eulis Gene and Norma Jean Taylor of Flat Lick, Ike Taylor Jr. of Somerset, Lonnie and Martha Taylor of Flat Lick, Fern and Jessie North of Stinking Creek, Pauline and Thomas Caldwell of Totz, Judy and Alex Smith of White Mountain and Priscilla and James Whitehead of Ferndale; grandchildren, Elmer Jr., Chris, Tim and Greg Taylor, Danny Warren, Claudette Knuckles, Golden Taylor Jr., Lynn Hollings, Angela Dewayne, Dallas Sosnin, Alex Smith Jr., Julie Miller, Felicia Whitehead, Lindsey and Stephanie Taylor, Glen and Fern Etta North, William Bradley, Stephen, Kevin, Ashley, Miranda, Heather, Issiac and Lonnie Joe Taylor and Terry Smallwood; 29 great-grandchildren; brother, Brittain Beverly of Michigan; sister, Viola Lewis of White Mountain and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Beloved wife of the late Emil M., formerly of Pensacola, Florida.
Survived by a daughter Janet Parker (Jeff) of Clementon, NJ, a son Michael Estes of Altemonte Springs, FL, also a grand-daughter Stacey Fennimore and six other grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Wagner, Brian Leonard
Arjay - Brian Leonard Wagner, 19, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2006, at Pineville Community Hospital.
He was born in Pineville on February 11, 1987, the son of Gary Lee and Julie Dozier Wagner. An active member of Green Camp Pentecostal Church, he was a graduate of Bell County High School and was attending Southeast Community College. Brian was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, H.B. Dozier and his paternal grandparents, Leonard and Ruby Wagner.
Survivors include his parents, Gary and Julie Wagner; brother and sister-in-law, Gary Christopher (Chris) and Jessica Wagner of Middlesboro; girl friend, Rebecca (Becca) Woolum of Pineville; grandmother, Ruby Dozier of Bird Branch; aunts and uncles, Hubert Jr. and Mildred Dozier, Susan and Kenneth Blair, Sharon and Jim Frye, Susie and Kenny Wilder and Melissa and Gary Wilder; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 12 noon Monday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with the Rev. Melvin Beverly, the Rev. Van Johnson and the Rev. George Neal presiding. Music will be by his church family.
Burial will be in the Red Hill cemetery at Arjay. Pallbearers will be his family and friends. The family received friends on Sunday evening at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville.
