Hall, Raymond Jr.
PINEVILLE, KY - Raymond Hall, Jr., 44, passed away Friday, September 28, 2001 at the U. T. Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was born Feb. 8, 1957, in Lorraine, Ohio, a son of the late Raymond Hall, Sr. and Mary Sizemore Hall. He believed in the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandmothers, Litha Hooker and Stella Sizemore; and one stepson, Perry Pridemore. Survivors include his wife, Effie Pridemore Hall, Pineville; two stepsons, John Pridemore, Pineville, and James Paul Pridemore, Pineville; stepdaughters, Amy Jones, Middlesboro, Billie Taylor, , Williamsburg, KY; and Juanita Pridemore, Pineville, Eva McNab, Middlesboro, Rosa Wheatley, Harrogate, Tennessee; Lucy Williamson, Corbin, KY, and June Delton, Jenson; two brothers, Sam Hall, Tazewell, Tennessee, and Curtis Hall, Manchester, Tennessee; four sisters, Jo Ann Lane, Middlesboro, Tammy Hubbard, Clear Creek, Diane Beverly, Arjay, Teresa Colinger, Harlan, KY; and a host of step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Anthony, Dustin, and Aaron Beverly, John Curtis Hall, Raymond Dillion Hall, John Caleb Lane, Katie and Billy Colinger, and Christina Hall Carroll.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Durham Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Sutton, Bob White, and Arthur Jackson presiding. Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Sam Hall, John Pridemore, David Jones, John Lane, John Pridemore, Jr., and Curtis Hall. Arrangements by Durham Funeral Home, Pineville.
Harp, Alex
New Tazewell, Tenn. - Alex Harp, age 9 1/2 weeks, born Sept. 13, 2006, in Knoxville, Tenn. passed away Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital.
"The world missed an angel."
Survivors include his parents, Kenneth Wayne and Lori Ramsey Harp of New Tazewell; twin sister, Allison and sisters, Lavina, Kendra and Tiffany.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Powell Valley Church of God with Rev. Billy Paul officiating.
Music will be by the church choir.
Burial in the Hensley's Chapel cemetery.

Harris, Nancy Smith
WALLSEND, Ky. — Nancy Harris, 59, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2007, at Midlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Born Feb. 15, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Felix Smith and Jane Tigue Smith. She believed in the Holiness faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Boone Smith; mother-in-law, Reva Harris; and father-in-law, Hence Harris.
Survivors include her husband, Hence Harris Jr., Wallsend; sister-in-law, Anna Mae Smith, Wallsend; two daughters, Lisa Leach, Dorton Branch, and Norma Brock, Nicholasville, Ky.; two sisters, Della Fuson, Wallsend, and Elsie Rutherford, Dorton Branch; two grandchildren, Lela Brock and Travis Brock; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Creech-Durham Funeral Home, Pineville, with the Rev. Arthur Jackson presiding.
Music will be provided by Edith Griffith.
Interment will be in Wallsend cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Helton, Earl
PINEVILLE — Earl Helton passed away on Sunday June 29, 2008, at the Pineville Community Hospital.
He was born April 7, 1927, in Leslie County, Ky., the son of the late Rachel Sizemore Helton and Daniel Helton. He served in the United States Navy during World War II, and retired from National Starch and Chemical Company. He was a member at Shelby Street Light House Church in Greenwood Ind., and Calvary Chapel at Mills Fork, Ky. He was a Master Mason at the lodge in Whiteland, Ind., where he had served as Past Master, and he was a member of the Eastern Star.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence, Ernest, Grant, Denver, Rice, Corbert, James and Robert Helton; and sisters Mollie Helton Asher and Phoney Helton Belcher.
Survivors include his wife, of 61 years Elva Helton; sons, Raymond Helton of Stoney Fork, Lehman Helton, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Donnie Helton of Whiteland Ind.; brothers, Fred Helton of Calvin, Daniel Helton of Martinsville, Ind.; and sister, Emily of Calvin; grandchildren, Michael of Whiteland, Ind., Stacy of Franklin, Ind., Kim of Whiteland, Ind., Earl Ray and Larry of Stoney Fork; great-grandchildren, Brayton, Luke, Drew and Hadley of Whiteland, Ind.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 12 noon Wednesday at the Calvary Chapel Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Don Messer and the Rev. Wayne Grace presiding. Music will be by church members.
Burial will be in the Meadow Branch cemetery at Stoney Fork. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Morgan, Bill Inman, Don Messer, Otis Hoskins and Lehman Hoskins.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville.
Hensley, Hubert
Mr. Hubert Hensley, 80, of Gray, Ky departed this life on Monday, February 11, 2008 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center.
He was the son of the late Richard "Rich" Hensley and Sallie (Kincaid) Hensley born to them in Knox. Co. on August 28, 1927.
Mr. Hensley was retired from General Motors and a Veteran of the United States Army.
He was a true believer of God, who enjoyed farming, and gardening.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Sallie, two brothers, Bill Hensley and Robert Hensley, and one sister Samatha Frazier.
He is survived by four sons, Ronald Hensley of Ypsilanti, Mich., Richard Hensley & wife Melissa of Corbin, Ky., Jimmy Hensley of Gray, Ky., Mickey "Ricky" Butler of London, Ky., one daughter Beverly Cox of Bimble, Ky., four brother James Earl Hensley of Bailey Hollow, Ky., Alford Hensley & wife Genie of Bailey Hollow, Ky., Eugene Hensley of Walton, Ky., Eulus Hensley & wife Frances of Gray, Ky., four sisters Myrtle Stewart of Lily, Ky., Evelyn Brack of Erine, Tn., Lucille Ballinger of Barbourville, Ky., Louise Phipps of Gray, Ky., 9 Grandchildren & 13 Great Grandchildren.
Mr. Hensley also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service for Mr. Hubert Hensley will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ole Robinet and Rev. Thomas officiating.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Tackett, & Scotty Johnson.
Interment will be at Disney cemetery with Hampton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Hollingsworth, Jeffery Scott
PINEVILLE — Jeffrey Scott "Holly" Hollingsworth, 18, of Pineville, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Pineville Community Hospital.
He was born Feb. 12, 1989 in Georgia, the son of Jeffery Hollingsworth and Joy Montgomery Hollingsworth. He was of the Baptist faith. He played football and baseball for Pineville High School and graduated from Pineville High School.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Hollingsworth; and a cousin, Steven Hollingsworth.
Survivors include his father, Jeffery Hollingsworth of Pineville; his mother, Joy Hollingsworth of Pineville; grandmothers, Sandra Gray of Georgia and Shirley Hollingsworth of Pineville; brothers, Jeremy Hollingsworth, Brandon Hollingsworth, William Fuson and Ryan Hollingsworth, all of Pineville; sisters, Ashley Hollingsworth and Brittney Hollingsworth, both of Pineville; two nieces, McKenzie Caldwell and McKaylynn Caldwell, both of Pineville; special friends Leonard Howard, Kevin Caldwell and Cameron Caldwell; and a large host of friends, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 11 at the Creech-Durham Funeral Home Chapel, with Paul Anglin and Tim Mills presiding. Interment will be in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens, Laurel Hill. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Pineville.

Hooker, Carson
MIDDLESBORO - Carson Hooker, 75, passed away Friday, April 7, 2006, at Middlesboro Health Care Facility.
He was born May 27, 1930, at Blanche, Ky., a son of the late Sandlin and Bertha Lawson Hooker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Herman, Clayton, and Fred.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Ellen Hooker, Middlesboro; three children, Ronnie Hooker, Middlesboro, Judy Hooker, Middlesboro, and Gary (Ellen) Hooker, Middlesboro; one brother, Hubert Hooker, Arjay; three grandchildren, Jennifer Kinningham, Adrienne Hooker, and Courtney Hooker; three great-grandchildren, Alex, Hayden, and Hannah Kinningham; a very special friend, Barney Sampson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
Funeral services will be held al 11 a.m. Monday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Poore presiding.
Interment will be in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Barney Sampson, Jovis Ray Mills, Michael Kinningham, Travis Hoskins, Ricky Foster, and James Minor.

Hooker, Gerald
Gerald Hooker, age 32, of Hamilton, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 21, 2003.
He was born in Hamilton on March 17, 1971.
He leaves behind his children, Kyle and Katy; his mother, Laura Chafin and her husband Walt; his father, Jerry Hooker and his wife Pat; a brother, Jerry Hooker and his wife Annette; two sisters, Annie Koons and her husband Jerry and Carla Sarver and her husband Harold and many loving family members, including Willy, Cortney, Corey, Jacob, Tina, Rick, Tonya, Andrew and Alisha.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Violet McCollum and Robert and Mary Hooker.
Funeral services will be held at the Hamilton Christian Center, 1940 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, June 26, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Marty Sloan and Rev. Kenny Mills officiating.
Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Hooker, Jonathan Walton
Jonathan Walton Hooker, 27, of Casper Court, Lexington, Ky., died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006.
The son of Kim Gilbert Hooker, of London, Ky., and the late Rev. Cecil Darrell Hooker, he was born Dec. 18, 1978 in Whitley County, Ky. He was the husband of Scarlett Catherine Parsley Hooker.
He was a member of Freedom United Baptist Church and a counselor by profession.
He was preceded in death by his father, his grandparents Rev. Cecil and Dorothy Hooker and his great-grandfather Jim Bruner.
He is survived by his mother; his sister Candice Danelle Robinson and husband Chad, of East Bernstadt, Ky.; his brother Adam Scott Hooker, of London; his grandparents Jennings and Greta Gilbert, of London; and his great-grandmother Amanda Bruner, of London.
His funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 3 at Corinth Baptist Church, with Rev. Terry Gabbard, Rev. Tim Philpot and Rev. Harlan Avera officiating.
Burial followed at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London.
Pallbearers were Rusty Ray, Curtus Moak, Justin Burns, Brian Griffin, Brad Wilson, Michael Ott, Alan Hampton, and Mike Garland.
Honorary pallbearers were Katrina Slone, Kasey Joyner, Katherine Williams, Megan Dowdy, Jennifer Wilson, Mindy Dinkins, Abigail Spalding, and Andrea Wade.

Hooker, Joseph Jefferson
Joseph Jefferson Hooker, age 71, of Sunnybrook Circle, London, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 10, 2004, at the Marymount Medical Center in London.
He was a son to the late Cecil Hooker, and is survived by his mother, Miranda (Jackson) Sulfridge of London.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Della Marie (Coyle) Hooker.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, December 13, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the East Colony cemetery.
