Lydia A. Meade, 90, died July 13, 2008. She was born January 25, 1918, in Bybee, Ky., to the late James Logan and Martha E. Minter Alexander. She was a retired Home Economics Teacher at the Paintsville High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wellington R. "Tom" Meade, Jr. of Paintsville. She is survived by 3 brothers-in law, Douglas, James Kenneth, and Bobby R. Meade all of Paintsville; 3 sisters-in-law, Maggie and Charolett Meade, and Mrs. Dudley Alexander; and several nieces and nephews. Phyllis Williams, 74, of Middle Fork, Hager Hill, died March 26, 2011. She was born November 5, 1936 in Johnson County to the late Alvis and Hazel Kennard Conley.
