Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Monday 2 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 9 a.m.

Virgie Lee Ward, 76, of Oil Springs, died Saturday morning. She is survived by 2 sons, Christopher and David Ward; daughter, Misty Dulen; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Carl Douglas and Jack Price; 2 sisters, Jenny Wiley and Claudia Lyons. Funeral services will be Wednesday 1 p.m. in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with burial in the VanHoose cemetery, Thealka, KY. Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Monday 6 to 9 p.m., Tuesday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m and Wednesday 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Paintsville Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

She is survived by 1 son, Austin Cornett; 5 sisters, Linda Hall, Teresa O'Bryan, Yvonne Blair, Sabrina Waldrup, and Jaime Hackworth; 1 step-sister, Tammie Bolin; 2 brothers, Donnie and Jimmy Estep; 3 step-brothers, Johnny, Tommy and Allen Bunyard. Funeral services will be Thursday 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with burial in the Estep cemetery, Flat Gap, KY. Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Tuesday 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Thursday 9 a.m until time of service.
Yvonne Pelphrey Treanor
Yvonne Pelphrey Treanor, 60 of Dayton, OH, formerly of Johnson County, the daughter of the late Earl and Pauline Pelphrey. Funeral services will be Saturday 1 p.m. at the Baker Branch Freewill Baptist Church, Tutor Key, Ky with burial in the Lakeview cemetery, Staffordsville. Visitation will be at the church, Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Paintsville Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.

Ann Baldwin, 72, widow of James Lawrence Baldwin, died Monday in Owenton, KY. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Lemaster; son, Mark Baldwin; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Retta & Zuetta Scott; 1 brother, Drew Blair. Funeral services will be Thursday 2 p.m. in at the Little Paint United Baptist Church at Oil Springs with burial in the Baldwin cemetery, Oil Springs, KY Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Wednesday 1 to 8 p.m., and Thursday 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Paintsville Home to help with funeral expenses.

Martha G. Caudill, 86, of Bellefontaine, OH, formerly of Johnson County, widow of the late Freddie Caudill, died Friday in OH. She is survived by 3 daughters, Polly Salyer, Janie Plummer, and Saundra Pfouts; 2 sons, Roy and Keith Caudill, 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 5 step-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Frances Tanner. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral home, with burial in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville. Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m until time of service.

Betty Margaret Conley, 84, of Columbus, OH, formerly of Johnson County, died Saturday in Ohio. She is survived by 1 daughter, Pamela Church, 4 sons, Danny Ray, Terry Lee, Jerry Douglas Castle and Rickey Daniels; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Judy Weber. Funeral services will be Tuesday 1 p.m. in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Castle cemetery in Thealka, KY. Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Tuesday, 11 a.m. until time of service.
Ruth Lee Ward
Ruth Lee Ward, 95 of Paintsville died Tuesday. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Friday 11 a.m. at the Highland Memorial Park cemetery, Staffordsville. Arrangements are under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

James O. McKenzie, 85 of Staffordsville, died Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, Betty McKenzie; 1 daughter, Kathy Crigger; 2 sons, James I. and Scott McKenzie; 7 grandchildren; 7 great- grandchildren; 4 sisters: Betty Pelphrey, Phyllis Pelphrey, Donlyn Cantrell and Gail Spradlin. Funeral services will be Saturday 1 p.m. at the Little Mud Lick Church of God, Staffordsville with burial to follow in the Johnson County Memorial cemetery, Staffordsville. Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Friday 6-9 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. The body will be taken to the church at 12 moon Saturday to lie in state until the time of service. Beatrice Long, age 90 of Morehead, wife of the late Eddie Long passed away Sunday January 6, 2013 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. She is preceded in death by her sister, Leona Rice. Survivors include one nephew, Gary Rice of Oil Springs. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville. He is survived by his wife, Beulah McKenzie Trimble; 3 sons: Steve "Pam" Trimble of Van Lear, Danny "Kathy" Trimble of Staffor4dsville, and Doug "Wanda" Trimble of Frankfort; 2 brothers: Byron Trimble of Dayton, OH & Danny B. Trimble of Shepherdsville, KY; 2 sisters: Betty Rose Reed of Flat Gap & Emogene Benson of Dayton, OH; 5 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be Sunday 1 p.m. in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville. Judy Burton, age 58 of Paint Lick, Ky, passed away Saturday morning at the Compassionate Care Hospice Center in Richmond Ky. She leaves behind her husband Larry Burton; 1 daughter, Amber Collover of Richmond, Ky; 2 brothers: David Jones of Paintsville & Carl Jr. Jones of Ohio, and 2 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday 4 p.m. in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Wittensville cemetery, Wittensville. Visitation will be Sunday 2-4 p.m. at the Paintsville Funeral Home.
