She is survived by her daughter, Kellie Hall; 3 sisters, Patricia Williams, Carolyn Estep, and Sharon Preston, 1 brother, Vessie Lee Workman; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Sunday 1 p.m. in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with burial in the Greenlawn cemetery, Louisa. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.

James Wheeler, 76, of Staffordsville, KY, died Wednesday at his home. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Jean Pelphrey Wheeler; 1 son, Jim Wheeler, II; 1 daughter, Jamie C. Wheeler; 1 grandson, Seth Wheeler. Funeral services will be Saturday 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with burial in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, KY. Myrtle Burchett, 96, of Paintsville, died Wednesday evening. She is survived by her daughter Pat Patton; granddaughter, Michelle Grubb; grandson, John Salyer; and great-grandson, Hudson Salyer. Funeral services will be Saturday 11 a.m. at the Bethel United Baptist Church, Flat Gap, KY with burial ta follow in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, KY. Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Friday 3 to 9 p.m.

Robert L. "Bob" Preston, 77, of Oil Springs, died Wednesday night. He is survived by his wife, Julie Williams Preston; 1 stepdaughter, Debbie Preston; 1 step-granddaughter; 1 brother, Millard Preston Jr. and 2 sisters Dorothy Mae Howard and Mildred Jenkins. Funeral services will be Saturday 1 p.m. in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with burial in the Williams-Reed cemetery, Colvin Branch, Oil Springs, KY. Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Friday 5 to 9 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m.

Jack D. VanHoose, 90, of Paintsville died Saturday morning. He is survived by 1 daughter, Janie and L.B. Lemaster; 1 son, David and Karen VanHoose; 4 grandchildren; 4 greatgrandchildren; 1 sister, Phyllis VanHoose. Funeral services will be Wednesday 11 a.m. at the Third Street Freewill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville. Visitation will be at the Church 12 noon on Tuesday until 8 p.m. The Paintsville Funeral Home is caring for the arrangements.

James A. Kestner, 77, of Paintsville, died Friday night. He is survived by his wife, Monnie Lee Kestner; 3 sons, Paul Ray, Allen, and James A. Kestner, JR; 3 daughters, Elizabeth Kestner, Leisa VanHoose, and Melina Alderson; 2 step-daughters, Tammy Ward and Amanda Castle; 12 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Paul, Bobby, Roger, and Larry Kestner; 6 sisters, Janette Derby, Mary Mae Kestner, Joyce Dennison, Donna S. Ratliff, Judy Eslinger, and Janie Wiley. Funeral services will be Monday 11 a.m. at the Third Street Freewill Baptist Church with burial in the Johnson County Memorial cemetery, Staffordsville. Visitation will be at the Church Sunday 4 to 9 p.m., Monday 11 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, Ruel McClure, her son Gary McClure, granddaughter Gaylena "Paul" Burchett; 3 great-grandchildren; and her sister Beulah Selvage. Alice Evelyn Rice Conley, 80, of Lexington, formerly of Oil Springs, KY, died Monday. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Wayne and Janice Adams; 3 sisters, Phyllis Rice, Betty Rice Yung, and Mary Kaye Rice Alley. Funeral services will be Thursday 1 p.m. at the Oil Springs United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Conley cemetery, Salyersville, KY. Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Wednesday 5-9 p.m. The arrangements are under the direction of Paintsville Funeral Home.

Franklin "Frank" Conley, 88, of Paintsville, died Wednesday evening. He is survived by his granddaughter, Ashley Wallen; and 2 brothers, Dr. Joe Conley and David Conley. Funeral services will be Monday 1 p.m. at the First Christian Church, Main St., Paintsville, with burtial in the VanHoose cemetery, Tutor Key, Ky. Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Saturday 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday 6 to 8 p.m., and Monday 9 a.m. Arrangements are by the Paintsville Funeral Home.

Pack; 1 sister, Lillian Pack Arrowood. Funeral services will be Tuesday 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with burial in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville. Nancy Blanton Prater, 76 of East Point, died Friday morning. She is survived by 3 daughters, Diana Billiter, Gail Dale and Tammy Blanton; 2 sons, Rick Blanton and Roy Prater; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother and 2 sisters. There will be no visitation. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Elaine Pearl Brown, 98 of Asa, Kentucky, died Friday in Ohio. She is survived by 2 daughters, Betty Jean Scott, and Cora Lee Moore; 2 sons, Darrel "Patricia" Brown, Doris Dean Brown; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; and 8 step great grandchildren. There will be a visitation Monday evening, 5-8 p.m. at the Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar and Fraley Funeral Home, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home, Tuesday 1 p.m. with burial to follow in the Brown cemetery, Asa, Kentucky. Vistiation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Tuesday 11 a.m. until time of service.

She is survived by 3 sons, Robert Keith, Ronald Dean and William Ray Conley; 1 brother, 1 sister; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Conley cemetery, Staffordsville. Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Thursday 4-9 p.m., and Friday 9 a.m.

Funeral services will be Saturday 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Paintsville with with burial in the Johnson County Memorial cemetery, Staffordsville, KY. Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Friday 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church.
