Imogene Murphy
Imogene Murphy, age 83, of Van Lear, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.
Born May 27, 1930 in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the late Taylor and Lula Collins Collins.
In addition to her parents Imogene is preceded in death by one son, Mike Murphy and one daughter, Donna Murphy.
She is survived by three sons; Steve Murphy of Mt. Sterling, Mitch Murphy of Mt. Sterling, and Tom Murphy of Thelma.
Eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Goble cemetery at Van Lear.
Roger Hill and Manford Fannin will officiate.
Friends may visit the funeral home from 5-9pm Monday and all day Tuesday.
Funeral arrangements are by the Phelps & Son Funeral Home, Paintsville.
Charles Gregory Trivett
Charles Gregory Trivett, age 54, of Inez, passed away Friday, October 25, 2013.
Born December 29, 1958 in Martin County, he was the son of the late Irene Muncy Carter and Charles and Molly Trivett of Inez.
In addition to his father and step mother, he is survived by one son, Brackett Trivett of Inez; one daughter, Katie Trivett also of Inez; and four sisters, Sherri Sluss of Inez, Tonya Kay Greene of Fayette County West Virginia, Ivalean Hager of Inez and Donna Carter of Columbus, Ohio.
There will be no funeral or visitation at this time.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home, Inez.
Charles (Jesse) Brown, Jr.
Charles (Jesse) Brown, Jr., age 66, of Beauty, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013 at his home.
Born February 18, 1947 in Yellowing, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles and Ruby Chaffins Brown. He is survived by his wife, Deloris Burgess Brown; one daughter, Melissa Jude of Beauty; five brothers, Kenneth, Roy, Ricky and Carl Brown, Jr all of Jeffrey, West Virginia and Carl Brown of Mason, West Virginia; four sisters, Brenda Workman of Clothier, West Virginia, Linda Buzzard of Patona, West Virginia, Hope Thompson of Jeffrey, West Virginia, and Betty Wilson of Anchorage, Alaska; 3 grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
He was heavy equipment truck driver and a veteran.
Funeral services will be 12pm Monday, October 28, 2013 at the Trinity Freewill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Fletcher Family cemetery at Beauty.
Ellis Maynard will officiate.
Friends may visit the church after 4pm Sunday and until the time of service on Monday.

Kenneth Bryan Lambert
(1966-2009)
Kenneth Bryan Lambert, 43, of Huntington, W.Va., formerly of Zelda, Ky., passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 25 in St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Kenneth was born Aug. 19, 1966, in Ashland, Ky., the son of Carl Henry and Louise Blakeman Lambert. He was a laborer and member of Buchannan Chapel United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Nikki Lambert of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Carla Lambert Duncan of Huntington; two brothers, Jeffrey Lambert of Henderson, Ky., and Gregory Allen Lambert of Columbia, S.C.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Karletti Lambert Salmons.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today, Aug. 29 at Buchannan Chapel United Methodist Church by Pastor Jeffrey Lambert. Burial will follow in Buchannan Chapel cemetery in Zelda, Ky.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa.
Mollie Parker

Mollie Faye Parker, 54, of Blaine, died Sunday at her residence.
She was born April 6, 1955, in Lawrence County.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bread of Life Church in Blaine. Burial will be in Cammat cemetery at Flat Gap.

Anna Rae Bartley
(1927-2009)
Anna Rae Bartley, 82, of Louisa passed away Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. She was born Feb. 18, 1927, in Ferrells Creek, the daughter of the late Bernie Burley “Bunch” and Dixie Marsha Hackney Belcher. She was the wife of the late Robert Earl Bartley. She was a retired nurse from Riverview Family Practice and was a member of First Baptist Church of Louisa.
Survivors include one son, Daniel Robert “Danny” Bartley of Novato, Calif.; one sister, Geneva Hylton of Elkhorn City; one brother, James Evans Belcher of Harrodsburg; and two grandchildren, Ryan Edward Bartley and Morgan Elizabeth Bartley.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Young Funeral Home in Louisa. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery in Louisa.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Frona Spencer
(1912-2009)
Frona G. Spencer, 96, of Louisa died Friday in Chesapeake, Ohio. She was born Aug. 31, 1912, in Stambaugh, the daughter of the late Enoch and Margaret Salyers Greene. She was a member of the Louisa Freewill Baptist Church.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings H. Spencer; one daughter, Renieca Ann McDaniel; five sisters; and eight brothers.
Survivors include three grandsons, John K. (Angela) McDaniel, Kenneth J. (Sandy) McDaniel and Damon S. (Lisa) McDaniel; one son-in-law, John J. McDaniel of Huntington; one brother, Roman (Mary) Greene of Racine, Wis., eight grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Louisa Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Young Funeral Home in Louisa.

Barbara J. Thompson, 70, of Louisa, died Tuesday in Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa.
She was born Sept. 12, 1938, at Mattie.
Her husband, Charles Thompson, died in 1991.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Yatesville Memorial Gardens in Louisa. Burial will be in Yatesville Memorial Gardens in Louisa.
