Troy Lee Perry, 75, of Louisa, died Saturday in the VA Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va. after a short illness. He was born May 2, 1934. His wife, Frankie Ann Frazier Perry, survives.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Young Funeral Home Chapel in Louisa. Burial will be in Frazier cemetery in Clifford.

Stanley C. Ferguson
1947-2009
Stanley C. Ferguson, age 61, died Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at his residence with his loving wife at his side. Memorial Services will be held at 7:00 PM, Friday evening, November 20, 2009 in the chapel of Bonaventure Funeral Home, with Rev. Ric Frazier, Pastor, First Baptist Church, Louisa, KY, officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 PM until service time.
Stan was born on December 28, 1947 in Louisa, KY, to the Late Harold C. Ferguson and Rebecca Richey Ferguson. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Louisa, KY. After graduating from Morehead State University, Stan was commissioned as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He later became a successful stockbroker, school teacher, baseball coach, football coach, and track coach.
Stan was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, friend and Lawrence County High School football fan. Stan is survived by his loving wife Jo Ann Tyson Ferguson of Savannah, sons and daughters -in-law, Foster Clay Ferguson and wife Patricia of San Diego, CA; Lee Ward Ferguson and wife Blake of Cincinnati, OH; 2 grandchildren, Ella Brooke and Jackson Lee Ferguson both of San Diego, CA, Sister, Suzanne F. Storts and husband Rich of Louisa, KY. 2 nephews, John and James and a niece, Shelby also survives.

Amanda Lee Blevins, 33, of Louisa, died Monday in Louisa.
She was born Sept. 1, 1976, in Louisa.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Louisa. Burial will be in Webbville cemetery.

Karen Lynn Fletcher
1956-2009
Karen Lynn Fletcher, 53, of Blaine, Ky., passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at her home. She was born Jan. 7, 1956, in St. Paul, Minn. to the late Pauline Hamilton. She was a homemaker, a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Christian Faith Outreach.
In addition to her mother, Karen was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Harry and Kathryn Nadine Chambers; a sister, Tracey Gill; and a brother, Jeff Carpenter.
She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Fletcher of Blaine, Ky.; two daughters, Kathryn and husband James Staniford II of Lexington, Ky., Patricia Starr of Blaine, Ky.; a son, Robert and wife Erica Fletcher of Ashland, Ky.; a sister, Denise Gill of Red Wing, Minn.; three brothers, Bruce Gill of S.D., Jerry Gill of Denver, Colo. and Jonothon Gill of Ariz.; and two grandchildren, Braelyn Rose Fletcher and Javien Cruze Staniford.
Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Gene Easterling at 7 p.m. today, November 15, at Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fort Snelling cemetery in Bloomington, Minn. at a later date.

Patsy Shannon Wright
1923-2009
Patsy Shannon Wright went to be with her heavenly father on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009.
Ms. Wright was born June 12, 1923, in Gallup, Ky.
She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Myrtle Jane Shannon. Her husband, Homer Wright Jr., her daughter, Andrea Christian Tiller, and her son, Homer Wright III, preceded her in death.
Ms. Wright was a member of First Baptist Church in Louisa, a graduate of Morehead State University and a teacher at Thompson Elementary in Mill Creek, W.Va. She retired from Louisa Elementary School after 20 years of service.
Ms. Wright is survived by her daughter, Rebecca See; her son-in-law, Garred G. See; her daughter-in-law, Brenda New Wright; her grandchildren, Garred G. See II (Danielle), James A. See (Lisa), Jason H. Wright, Joshua M. Wright, Monica Tiller and Rebecca Dawn Tiller; great-grandchildren Savannah and Tyler See and Karighan Wright; sisters-in-law Adrienne Lewis, Barbara Lakin Wright and Ann O. Shannon; brothers-in-law Clay B. Snedegar and Herbert Ball; and a very special niece, Sibyl Meece.
Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Jones and Chris Haynes. Pallbearers will be Garred See II, James See, Jason Wright, Joshua Wright, Clay Snedegar, Michael Snedegar, Donald Halcomb and Bryan Halcomb.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today, Nov. 12 at Young Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Louisa. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13 at First Baptist Church, 301 W. Pike St., Louisa, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Brother Ric Frazier will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Louisa Building Fund.

Mary Jane Varney Hall, 90, of Louisa, died Wednesday at her residence.
She was born Oct. 18, 1919, in Pike County.
Her husband, James Hall, died in 1979.

She was born Feb. 20, 1930, in Chatteroy.
Her husband, John Earl Nix, survives.
