William C. Perry, 77, of Louisa, died Thursday in St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va.
He was born Aug. 22, 1931, in Clifford.His wife, Lola Dean McKinney, preceded him in death.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Young Funeral Home in Louisa. Burial will be in Maynard cemetery in Louisa.

Mary Ethyl Meadows
1939-2009
Mary Ethyl Meadows, 79, of Louisa died Thursday, April 16, 2009. Ms. Meadows was the widow of James S. Meadows who preceded her in death in 1990. The daughter of Dexter Wooten and Rosie Scarberry of Georges Creek, Ky., who are both deceased, she worked as a seamstress for General Motors for 40 years before her retirement. She was also preceded in death by three sisters; Sarah Larkin of South Carolina, Louise Wallace, of Falmouth, Ky., and Clara Hardin of North Carolina.
Mrs. Meadows is survived by two daughters, Lois Ann Daniels and Joan L. Ray, both of Louisa, one brother, William Floyd Wooten, also of Louisa, and three sisters, Emily Ward, of Norwalk, Ohio, Charolette Wooten, of Norwalk, Ohio,, and Barbara Coats of Louisa. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by three sisters; Sarah Larkin of South Carolina, Louise Wallace, of Falmouth, Ky., and Clara Hardin of North Carolina.
Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Gallup United Methodist Church followed by cremation.
Opal Caroline Thompson
1914-2009
Opal Caroline Thompson, 94, of Fort Gay, W.Va. passed away Thursday April 16, 2009 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, Ky. She was born July 1, 1914 in Fort Gay, W.Va. a daughter of the late Barney and Dovie Judd Frasher. She was a Housewife. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two husbands, Woodson Marshall and Beecher Thompson.
Survivors include two daughters, Delores (Bernard) Cyrus of Fort Gay, W.Va.; Joyce (Stirgel) Frashier of Mason, Ohio; one son, William (Darlene) Marshall of Oregan, Ohio; seven Grandchildren, Richard Cyrus, Lois Damron, Bill Marshall, Kimberly Marshall, Christina Bolin, Lisa Bork and David Frazier; seven Great Grandchildren, Richard Cyrus II, Kayla Cyrus, Corey Marshall, Courtney Marshall, Samatha Frashier, Nathaniel Frashier and Jeremy Damron; one special niece, Marjorie Spaulding.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday April 18, 2009 at Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mack Ray Cyrus officiating. Burial will follow at Christian cemetery in Fort Gay, W.Va. Visitation will be 5:00 til 9:00 pm Friday at Young Funeral Home in Louisa, Ky.

Zachary Thompson, 19, of Louisa, died Saturday in Prichard, W.Va.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa. Burial will be in Yatesville Memorial Gardens in Louisa.
