BEAVER DAM - Jimmy Russell Bradley, 32, of Beaver Dam died Friday, Sept. 16, 2005, at his home. He retired from Casco in Morgantown.

Survivors include his companion, Twanna Miller; a daughter, Anna Bradley; his parents, Herbert A. and Bonnie Autry Bradley; seven brothers, Terry Bradley, Chris Bradley, Todd Bradley, Mark Bradley, Scott Bradley, Chuck Bradley and Greg Bradley; and a sister, Pamela Givens.

Services: 1 p.m. Monday at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial: Rosine cemetery. Visitation: From 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Catherine Vancleve Blair

Catherine Vancleve Blair, 96, of 122 W. 24th St., Owensboro, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2005, at her home. She was born Jan. 17, 1909, in Daviess County to the late John H. and Jessie M. Kincheloe Vancleve. She retired after 30 years from General Electric Co. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and enjoyed crocheting angels, traveling and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin C. Blair in 1965; two sons, "B.J." VanFleet in 1962 and John W. Blair in 1965; three sisters, Mary Hayden, Josephine McKinley and Alice Tanner; one brother, George Vancleve; and a foster brother, Harry Calhoun.

Mrs. Blair is survived by a granddaughter and her husband, Janice V. and Carl Mulligan of Owensboro; a daughter-in-law, Sue VanFleet of Owensboro; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2005, at Glenn Funeral Home chapel with burial following in Rosehill cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005, and after 8:30 a.m. Monday.

Arvin R. Bishop

LIVERMORE - Arvin R. Bishop, 84, of 2391 Kentucky 1080, Livermore, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005, at his home near Livermore. Arvin Ray Bishop was born April 1, 1921, in Ohio County to the late Jack and Floy Minton Bishop, was married to the former Annie Lee England on Sept. 26, 1946, and was better known as "Bish" by his friends. He was an Army veteran of both World War II and the Korean War and had retired as a heavy equipment operator from Operating Engineers Local 181 of Henderson. Bish also enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Annie; a son and his wife, Dennis and Loretta Bishop of Livermore; two daughters and their husbands, Jo Ann and Roger Payne and Sue and Dennis Revlett, all of Livermore; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Willard Clement officiating. Burial will be in Waltons Creek cemetery in Ohio County with military honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post 5415. Friends may visit with the Bishop family from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of services Sunday at Musters in Livermore.

Marita Ellen Cole Hoover

BEAVER DAM - Marita Ellen Cole Hoover, 61, of the Mount Pleasant Community in Ohio County died Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at her home. She was a nurse's aide and a member of Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include three sons, Gary Wayne Cole Jr., Jason Todd Cole and Troy Lee Cole; four brothers, Harold Raley, Winford "Buddy" Raley, Charley Raley and Jerry Raley; and four sisters, Anna JuDell King, Martell Crowder, Betty Sue Wilson and Jeanette Raley.

Services were held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial: Fairview cemetery in Ohio County.

Coleman R. Rich

Coleman R. Rich, 87, of Bon Harbor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center died there Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005. He was born Aug. 18, 1918, in Bremen to Claude H. and Pearlie M. Boyken Rich and retired from Yellow Cab Co. of Owensboro as a cab driver after 38 years. He was a member of First Assembly of God and enjoyed gardening and playing guitar. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria Jean LaCombe; brothers Carman Rich, Raymond Rich, Ernest Rich and James Rich; and a sister, Josephine Rich.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Mary E. Rich; two sons, Kevin Rich of Indianapolis and Michael Rich of Evansville; a daughter, Deborah French of Indianapolis; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, David Rich of Mesquite, Texas; and a sister-in-law, Ruth H. Snyder Russell of Owensboro.

Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home chapel in Owensboro with the Rev. Emil Herzog officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Teresa Ellen Trego

Teresa Ellen Trego, 85, of Owensboro died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on Daviess County and was a homemaker and a member of SS. Joseph & Paul Catholic Church in Owensboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Louis Trego Sr., in 1976.

She is survived by two sons, Fred (Connie) Trego of Wichita, Kan., and Billy Trego of Owensboro; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Belle Ryan of Owensboro, Martha Jane (Kenneth) Westerfield of Whitesville and Mary Agnes (Chalmus) Henderson of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville. Prayers will be said at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mary Rose O'Flynn Barr

Mary Rose O'Flynn Barr, 91, of 2031 Lexington Ave., Owensboro, died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005, at her home. She was born in Owensboro on Nov. 20, 1913, to the late Jay Hardy O'Flynn Sr. and Stella Ambrose O'Flynn. She was a lifelong member of Settle Memorial United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Mary Lou Phillips Sunday School class. She was a former member of the Cotillion Club, which later became the Junior League and a member of the Women's Guild, formerly the Hospital Guild. She was active in Girl Scouts for many years and served as the first commissioner of the Owensboro Girl Scout Council. She was the executive director of the Girls Club (Girls Inc.). She was a member of the Marlin Masters Swim Team and, at 88, set a Kentucky state record in the 50-meter freestyle, the fastest time in the United States in her age group. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends, attending the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra and working in her rose garden. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family at cookouts and other gatherings and took pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, John Fletcher Barr III and his wife, Kathy; a daughter, Mary O'Flynn Barr Cabell and her husband, Steve, all of Owensboro; her grandchildren, Lisa Barr Ebelhar Kennedy and her husband, Ray, John Fletcher Barr IV and his wife, Leigh, all of Owensboro, Meredith Glenn Cabell of San Diego and Stephen Carrington Cabell of Philadelphia; her great-grandchildren, Dusty Ebelhar, Samuel Ebelhar and John Fletcher Barr V of Owensboro; her brother, Jay Hardy O'Flynn Jr.; and her sister, JoAnn O'Flynn Gipe, both of Owensboro.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home, with burial in Elmwood cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Cecil J. Tucker

Cecil J. Tucker, 89, of 1931 Stratford Drive, Owensboro, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at his home. He was born July 3, 1916, to the late Rowan and Hallie Dawson Tucker in Ohio County. He was a heavy equipment operator for International Union of Operating Engineers AFL-CIO Local 181 for 50 years. He was a member of the Kentucky National Guard, a member of Pleasant Hope General Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel. He enjoyed working with wood, especially building different types of buildings, riding motorcycles and loved all types of nature.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, including his twin, Leah, Martine and Frances; his great-granddaughter, Olivia Stevens, who died Dec. 19, 2002.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Blanche Mitchell Tucker; three sons, Jim Tucker and wife, Betty, of Crawfordsville, Ind., Ray Tucker of Fairfield, Calif., and Jerry Tucker and his wife, Karen, of Evansville; a daughter, Bonnie Gwaltney of Evansville; a stepson, David Simpson and his wife, Joyce, of Owensboro; a stepdaughter, Judy Heady and her husband, David, of Haiti; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews, including Bill Stewart and Louis Rouse of Owensboro.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Glenn Funeral Home, with burial in Pleasant Hope General Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will be after noon today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Association, 723 Harvard Drive, Owensboro, KY 42301; Global Outreach, P.O. Derrell S. 'Red' Cross

ROCKPORT - Derrell S. "Red" Cross, 74, of Rockport died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005, at Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in Andalusia, Ala., on July 12, 1931, Mr. Cross was a member of the Richland Christian Church, retired from Alcoa where he worked for more than 29 years and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Cross was a member of VFW Post No. 696 and the American Legion Post in Rockport.

He is survived by sons, Duane and his wife, Susan Cross, and Myron and his wife, Janet Cross, of Hatfield, Ind., Ronald and his wife, Sandy Cross, of Grandview, Ind., and Brian Cross of Rockport; his former wife, Rose "Sam" Keller of Rockport; grandchildren, Andy Cross, Denver Cross, Travis Cross, Nicholas Cross, Kyle Cross, Virginia Cross, Megan Cross and Ashley Cross, all of Spencer County, Ind., Christopher Cross in the Marine Corps in North Carolina; three stepgrandchildren, Casey Jones of North Carolina, Eric Baumberger of the U.S. Army in Germany and Nicole Hensley of Evansville; three stepgreat-grandchildren; brothers, Virgil Cross of New York and Lester Cross of Bardwell; and a sister, Deloris Cross; and several nieces and nephews.

Services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home, officiated by Father Brian Roby, with burial in St. Mary cemetery in Whitesville, with military honors conducted by VFW Post No. 696. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Disabled American Veterans.

Lory Phillip 'Pete' Taul Sr.

HARDINSBURG - Lory Phillip "Pete" Taul Sr., 69, of Cloverport died Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Hospice & Palliative Care in Louisville. He was a retired farmer, a member of New Clover Creek Baptist Church and was a Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Hilda Taul; two sons, Phillip Taul and Mike Taul; three daughters, Gail Perkins, Sherry Taul and Lisa Hubbard; two brothers, John Taul and Sherman Taul; and two sisters, Telitha MacLamore and Effie Hall.

Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at New Clover Creek Baptist Church near Hardinsburg. Burial: New Clover Creek cemetery. Visitation: From 3 to 8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Wednesday at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg. Memorial contributions: New Clover Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.
