Mary Ellen Bass "Midge" Courtney-Coffman-Seligman, 72, of Erlanger, died at 11:50 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a retired waitress with Lloyd's Restaurant, Covington, and other restaurants, and a member of Simon Kenton American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 20, Elsmere. Her husbands, Bo Courtney, Jim Coffman and Max Seligman, all preceded her in death.
Survivors include sons, Gary Courtney of Florence, Jim Coffman of Erlanger and Tim Coffman of Covington; a daughter, Tracy Hudson of Elsmere; sisters, Alma Signore of Waterbury, Conn., and Ida Mae Brown of Elsmere; a brother, Norbert Bass of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial: Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Edward Gall, 67, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Dayton, died Wednesday at Bay Pines Veterans Hospital in St. Petersburg. He was a Korean War veteran.
Survivors include a sister, Ruth Hughes of Waveland, Miss.; and brothers, George Gall of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Andrew Gall of Ft. Thomas.
Burial will be in Bay Pines Veterans Cemetery

Patsy Winterberg Greenwell, 69, of Cincinnati, formerly of Ludlow, died at 6:10 a.m. Thursday at Deaconess Hospital, Cincinnati. She was a retired secretary with Sky Chef at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, and a member of Ludlow Centennial Commission and Sts. Boniface and James Church, Ludlow.
Survivors include daughters, Beverly W. Fischesser of Ft. Wright and Bonita A. Mormon of Cincinnati; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Joseph H. Halenkamp, 81, of Covington, died at 4:16 p.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a retired employee of American Tool Works, Cincinnati, a member of the Sunday Morning Club, and a past president of the American Eagles Post No. 329.
Survivors include sons, John Tom Halenkamp of Erlanger, Robert J. Halenkamp of Clearwater, Fla., and William M. Halenkamp of Bittendorf, Ind.; a sister, Elinore Aries of Cincinnati; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Irene A. Lizer, 71, of Burlington, died Monday at her home. She was a data processing specialist with the Internal Revenue Service and a member of Burlington Baptist Church and the Utopia Club. Her first husband, Calvin White , died in 1974. Her second husband, Howard Lizer, died in 1987.
Survivors include daughters, Donna M. White of Averill Park, N.Y., and Micki N. White of Covington; a son, Stephen H. White of Lexington; a brother, Gordon Burch of Camarillo, Calif.; a sister, Florence Schermerhorn of Traverse City, Mich.; and two grandchildren.

Alfred Jesse "A.J." Richardson, 76, of Paris, Ky., formerly of Carrollton and Cynthiana, died at 11:40 a.m. Thursday at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home in Paris. He was a retired soil scientist with the Soil Conservation Service and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, a farmer, an elder with the Leesburg Christian Church, and a WWII Army veteran.

Carl L. Taglauer, 81, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Covington, died Feb. 20 at College Harbor, St. Petersburg. The WWII Army veteran was a former metallurgist with Wright Aeronautical, retiring from Harshaw Chemical in Cleveland and Houston, and a member of Pass-A-Grille Beach Community Church and Pass-A-Grille Yacht Club in St. Petersburg.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Myers Taglauer.

She was a member of St. Mary Ladies Society, the Benedictine Guild and St. Charles Auxiliary and a volunteer with Riverside Good Council, the Parish Kitchen and St. Vincent DePaul Society.

Wayne W. Williams, 81, of Independence, died at 12:25 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington. He was a retired employee of the CSX Railroad, and an electrician. He was a member of Decoursey Baptist Church, Indra Consistory Scottish Rite, Bradford Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star and Wilmington Lodge No. 362 F&AM, where he was a past district deputy grand master. His wife, Stella Blevins Williams, died in 1997.

Edward A. Wolking Sr., 86, of Ft. Mitchell, died at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday at his home. He was a retired chef, a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Ft. Mitchell, and an Army veteran of World War II.
