CENTRAL CITY - Reba May Noffsinger, 89, of Central City died Sunday, July 4, 2004, at her home. She was a homemaker and member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Bremen.
Survivors include her husband, John Noffsinger.
Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial: Rose Hill cemetery in Central City. Visitation: From 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Dana Wilson Hall Tucker

Dana Wilson Hall Tucker, 88 of 233 Bon Harbor Cove, Owensboro, formerly of Dublin, Va., passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2004, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born Sept. 13, 1915, in St. Charles, Va., she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Georgia Ella Denny Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995, John Boland Tucker Jr.; and is also preceded in death by three grandsons, John Edward Tucker, Jeffrey Brian Tucker and Joseph Scott Tucker; three brothers, Daniel Hall, Wyatt Denny Hall and Oswald Morrison Hall; and one sister, Oma Lee Hall Watson. She was a longtime member of the Dublin United Methodist Church, having joined the church on July 20, 1946, and was a member of the Cheerful Adults. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Dublin with 25 years of service as an assistant postmaster. She was a 50-year member of Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter No. 113, where she was a worthy grand matron in both the Dublin and Pulaski chapters. She was also a former secretary-treasurer of the Pulaski County Democratic Women's Association.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, John Bolin Tucker III and wife, Johnsie F. Tucker, of Owensboro, Robert D. Tucker and wife, Vivian F. Tucker, of Moneta, Va.; grandchildren, Dianna Leigh Tucker and husband, Kevin Mauzy, Tracy Mink Morris, Robert D. Tucker Jr. and wife, Jennifer Pope Tucker, Dana M. Tucker and Denny M. Tucker; great-grandchildren, Jack Tucker Mauzy, Taylor Ashley Morris, Mary Carolynn Tucker and Reece McCauly Tucker; sisters, Marion Louise Hall Smith of Pennington Gap, Va., and Mary Ella Hall Anderson of Kingsport, Tenn.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Dublin United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Lockerby and Rev. Michael Travis officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dublin United Methodist Church, where an Eastern Star service will follow. The family wishes memorial contributions in her memory to be made to the Dublin United Methodist Church, 424 East Main St., Dublin, VA 24084. Bower Funeral Chapel in Pulaski is in charge of arrangements.
Elbert Louis Bruner

MADISON, Tenn. - Elbert Louis Bruner, 60, of Madison died Thursday, July 29, 2004. Mr. Bruner was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Hendersonville, Tenn., and was a graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan College class of 1966. Mr. Bruner was employed for 40 years as a plant accountant with A.O. Smith Corp., formerly General Electric, in Owensboro and Scottsville.
Survivors include his loving wife, Cheryl L. Bruner; a daughter, Erika Hall; a son, Byron (Linda) Bruner; two granddaughters, Rachel Bruner and Haley Hall; and a brother, Arthur John Bruner Jr.
The family will receive friends today from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from noon until 9 p.m. at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, 127 N. Main St., Goodlettsville, Tenn. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, Aug. 2, 2004, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Crockett officiating. Friends will serve as pallbearers. Contributions may be made to the Bible Baptist Church Building Fund, 260 New Shackle Island Road, Hendersonville, TN 37075. Interment will be in Forest Lawn cemetery.
Charles 'Sonny' Lee

Charles "Sonny" Lee, 66, of 5958 Macedonia Road, Owensboro, formerly of Atlanta, died Sunday, July 11, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born Aug. 24, 1937, to the late Loy and Anna Lee, in Atlanta. He was Navy veteran of the Korean War, retired from Acme Lock and Key and was a self-employed safe mechanic. Sonny was a member of the Safe and Vault Technical Association, the American Locksmiths of America, AA and NA and had a strong passion for hunting.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Susan Lee of Owensboro; a son, Loy and his wife, Allison Lee, of Douglasville, Ga.; a stepson, Tim Murphy of Owensboro; two stepdaughters, Kristy Murphy of Owensboro and Rachelle and her husband, Ted Lanham, of Cleveland; six grandchildren, Abby Murphy, Madeline and Molly Lanham and Bridget, Chris and Erica Ewald; two brothers, Russell and Mike Lee, both of Douglasville; and a sister, LoyAnn Archilles of Dallas.
Funeral services will be at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, at Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 319 W. 10th St., Owensboro, KY 42301.

LEWISPORT - Rachel Faye Howard Goins, 74, of Lewisport died Thursday, July 22, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born Sept. 14, 1929, in Hancock County, the daughter of the late Benjamin "Ben" and Lucille (Bryant) Haney. She was a member of Lewisport Baptist Church and was employed at American Olean Tile. After her retirement she went to school to become a cosmetologist and owned and operated several salons. She enjoyed her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Ansel Howard; her brothers, Waitman Haney, William Haney, Roy Haney and Bob Haney; and a sister, Pauline Goffinet.
Survivors include her husband, Ed Goins of Lewisport; a son, Benny Howard of Lewisport; a daughter, Alice Faye and her husband, Bobby, Fallin of Lewisport; two brothers, Carl Haney of Lewisport and Lester Haney of Owensboro; three sisters, Margaret Capauno of Sanborn, N.Y., Katherine James of Tell City, Ind., and Shelby Jean Estes of Lewisport; grandchildren, Jim and David Fallin, April Bryant, Valerie Ferry, Leah Knight, Elizabeth Howard and Benny Howard II; and great-grandchildren, Alex, Molly, Hannah Jill, Lexia, Taylor, Haley, Courtney and Evan.
Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 25, at Taylor-Raymond-Spear Funeral Home with Brother Harry Spurrier, Brother William S. Roberts, Brother Curtis Barnes and Brother Ray Estes officiating. Burial will be in Lewisport cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m. to service time Sunday at the funeral home.

Fred Bruno, 62, of Owensboro died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. Born Feb. 7, 1942, in Carterville, Ill., he was the son of the late Homer Coleman and Rose Bruno. Mr. Bruno was an electrician.
He is survived by a daughter, Sunnie Joseph of Palmdale, Calif.; and grandchildren.

CENTRAL CITY - J.T. Millard, 86, of Central City died Sunday, July 25, 2004, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. He was a retired steel worker, a member of First Baptist Church and a World War II veteran.

DUNDEE - Coy Ray St. Clair, 80, died Saturday, July 17, 2004, at his home. He was born the son of the late Henry "Bud" and Ida Carter St. Clair in the Dundee community of Ohio County and was a farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois St. Clair, in 1999.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Coy Ray St. Clair Jr. of Hartford; a daughter, Patricia Trogden of Hartford; two grandsons, Coy "Colt" Ray St. Clair III and Collin St. Clair; three granddaughters, Deann Smith, Kristi Willoughby and Brandy Willoughby; and two sisters, Mary Catherine Louden of Memphis and Velma Morrison of Louisville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Duke-Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Hartford. Burial will follow in Olaton cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 3 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m.

BEAVER DAM - Saul Castaneda-Reyes, 20, of Beaver Dam died Thursday, July 22, 2004, in Ohio County. He was employed at Tyson in Sebree as a line supervisor.
Survivors include his father, Rufino Castaneda; his mother, Luisa Reyes; a brother, Jaime Castaneda; and two sisters, Celia Castaneda and Florentina Castaneda.

Patsy J. Conger

Patsy J. Conger, 68, beloved wife and mother, passed away July 31, 2004, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. A native of Crittenden County, she was born Jan. 16, 1936, to the late Dalton Earl and Nettie Campbell Owen. A strong-willed lady, she bravely and courageously fought her illnesses and heart disease before God called her home. Mrs. Conger retired from Wal-Mart in Tell City, Ind., where she was a manager in the jewelry department. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Frances Campbell; paternal grandparents, John and Gertrude Owen; a brother, Walter Malloy Owen; and a sister, Elsa Marie Owen. She was presently a member of Hall Street Baptist Church in Owensboro and a previous member of Central Baptist Church in Hawesville. Hobbies enjoyed by Mrs. Conger included traveling, playing golf, gardening, shopping and spending time with family and friends through her church.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 50 years, Harold Conger; her loving daughters, Deborah Seibert and her husband, Edward, of Cannelton, Ind., and Carol Murphy and her husband, Darryl, of Owensboro; three grandchildren, Megan Olberding and her husband, Josh, of Cannelton and Sarah and Brittany Murphy, both of Owensboro; a great-grandchild, Madison Olberding of Cannelton; two brothers, Dalton "D.E." and wife, Edna, Owens of Francis and Mark and Vena Owen of Henderson; two sisters, Willella Brown and Sue and William "Red" Hudson, both of Evansville; an uncle, Aaron Campbell of Clarksdale, Miss.; and 16 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, at Glenn Funeral Home chapel. Visitation will be today, Aug. 2, from 1 to 8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery. Contributions may take the form of donations to American Heart Association, Hall Street Baptist Church Building Fund or Central Baptist Church Building Fund.
Sister Bernadette Mary Fischer SL

LORETTO - Sister Bernadette Mary Fischer, 90, of Loretto died at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 11, 2004, at Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary. She was born Oct. 16, 1913, in Rome, Ky., entered the Sisters of Loretto order in 1932 and received her final vows in 1937. She served many years at the Loretto Academy in Sante Fe, N.M., before returning to Kentucky in 1958. She managed the main dining room at the Loretto Motherhouse for more than 20 years until she retired in 1984. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Emily Kielain Fischer.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. today at Loretto Motherhouse Church. The chief celebrant will The Rev. J. Irvin Mouser. Burial will be in Loretto Motherhouse cemetery.
