Willis T. Stinnett Sr., 99, of Bon Harbor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center died there Wednesday, June 16, 2004. He was born March 8, 1905, in Breckinridge County, was self-employed and sold produce. He enjoyed coin collecting, hunting and playing cards. He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Mary Etta Stinnett.
Survivors include three sons, Willis T. Stinnett Jr. of Evansville, Larry W. Stinnett and his wife Lois, of Owensboro and Darrell T. Stinnett and his wife, Vicki, of Maceo; two daughters, Linda Saltsman and her husband, Jim, of Owensboro and Mary E. Stinnett of West Los Angeles, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home chapel. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rosehill cemetery.
Donald R. Hudspeth Sr.

HARTFORD - Donald R. Hudspeth Sr., 67, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at Ohio County Hospital. He was a member of Broadway General Baptist Church and retired from Young Manufacturing Co.
Survivors include his wife, Dean Hudspeth; four sons, Donald R. Hudspeth Jr., Bobby Hudspeth, James Kenneth and Terry Wayne Hudspeth; two daughters, Connie Lynn Stewart and Nancy Mae Hudspeth; a brother, Earl Hudspeth; and a sister, Mable Parker.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Duke-Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Hartford. Burial: Union Church cemetery in Hardin County. Visitation: From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Agnes Marie Thomas

Agnes Marie Thomas, 67, of 1613 East 21st St., Owensboro, died Thursday, June 17, 2004, at her home. Agnes was born in Owensboro on Sept. 12, 1936, to the late Simon and Lucy (Wink) Schell. She was a homemaker who loved to be with her children, grandchildren and friends. She was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic church and enjoyed attending Golden Romans Senior Citizens Club at St. Martin Catholic Church.
Agnes is survived by her husband of 45 years, William "Billy" Thomas; four children and spouses, Jeanette Estes and husband Billy, Mike Thomas and wife Karen, Dan Thomas and wife Sandra and Martha Gillim and husband Steve, all of Owensboro; grandchildren, Courtney and Brittany Estes, Cody and Brody Thomas, Aaron and Rachel Thomas, Emily, Jacob and Justin Gillim; her sister, Mildred Phillips of Flaherty; four brothers, Herman Joe Schell of Hanson and Robert Leo Schell, James "Jim" Schell and Eugene "Gene" Schell, all of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 19, at Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Visitation will be today from 3 to 8 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be held at 5:30 p.m. today. Burial will be in St. Anthony cemetery in Brown's Valley. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Blessed Mother Catholic Church, Hospice Association Inc.

Bernadette Thompson Clark, 93 of 944 Eastwood Drive, Owensboro, died Wednesday, November 26, 2003, at her home. She was born May 3, 1910, in West Louisville to Joseph Steward Thompson and Mattie Urusala Jewell Thompson. She was a homemaker and member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and Immaculate Conception Society. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed making afghans for her many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58years, John Mabe Clark, on May 7, 1997, and a grandson, John Patrick Clark, in l99l. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law: Larry & Betty Clark and Dan Clark both of Owensboro; a daughter, Sharon Clark Whittinghill of Owensboro; Seven grandchildren, Bob Clark, Jackie Fulkerson, Krissy Aubrey, Mike Clark, Tracy Calhoun and Jessica Clark of Louisville, Ky.; l6 great grandchildren; a great great grandchild; a brother, Robert U. Thompson of Elba; a sister, Lois Dant of Beech Grove; and numerous loving nieces & nephews. Services are at 11:00am. Saturday at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Visitation is from 12:00 to 8:00pm. Laura Lee Allen Melton, 34 of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away November 30, 2003 at Owensboro Medical Health Systems. She was born on August 20, 1969 to the late William Allen(September 13, 2002 and her mother Ann (Sissy) Allen of Owensboro, Kentucky. She also is preceded in death by her brother: Robert(Bobby)Allen(December 22, 1993. Hubert W. Wells, 85 of 2161 York Drive died on Monday, February 2, 2004 at Bon Harbor Nursing Home in Owensboro, Kentucky and was born on March 28, 1918 in Danfield, Kentucky to the late William Perry and Sallie Minor Wells. He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling. Surviving are his of wife of 67yrs. of marriage, Margaret Wells, foster daughter, Linda R. Minton of Philpot, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews. One sister, Vivian Fitzgerald of Tocoma, Washington. Services are at 10:00am. Thursday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home Chapel, visitation from 2:00 to 7:00pm. Wednesday and from 8:00 to 10:00 am. Thursday. Reverend Ken Spurrier will be officiating. Entombment will be at Resurrection cemetery in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Mary Bernice Ferguson Tucker, 83, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2004 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on December 13, 1920 in Daviess County to Mary Lettie Millay and William Jess Payne. She was a homemaker and a member of the Legion of Mary, Ladies Altar Society, St. Stephens Funeral Guild, and the VFW Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed dancing, traveling and playing BINGO. Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husbands, Herman Joseph Bowlds in 1994, John William Ferguson in 1984, William Tucker in 1990, and a daughter Norma Jean Bowlds in 1940. Surviving is a son, John William Ferguson Jr. of Owensboro, daughters, Molly Wagner of Owensboro, Connie Farmer of Maceo, and Brenda Fulkerson of Owensboro, 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Also surviving is a brother, William Stewart Payne of Whitesville, and sisters, Mary Toon, Margaret Ferguson, Louise Johnson, Dorothy Fulton, and Shelby Webster all of Owensboro.

Mr. Baize was the owner of Baize Insurance Agency and had been owner for 40 years. He also had served in the U S Marine Corp. He was a member of Olaton Baptist Church and enjoyed working on his farm and spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

She was actively involed in the founding and every day operations of R.A. Alexander & Sons and a homemaker. Was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church, former member of Sorhgo Homemakers, loved crocheting, playing cards with family. preceded in death by her husband, R.A. (Judge) Alexander on April 4, 1995 and a son Jerry Alexander on March 22, 2003. Surviving are her son, Bill Alexander of Owensboro, Ky., daughters, Marsha and her husband George Ballard and Debbie and her husband Willie Masterson both of Owensboro, Kentucky. Twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. One brother, Joe Bob Murphy of Owensboro, Kentucky. Services are at 10:00am.
