Louise Moseley Simpson, 85, of Owensboro died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. The Owensboro native retired from the Campbell Club as a bookkeeper and was a member of First Christian Church. Her husband, Clifton Simpson, died Jan. 21, 1991.
Survivors include a son, John P. Simpson of Gaithersburg, Md.; a daughter, Anne Hoffman of Prospect; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church in Owensboro. Burial will be in Rosehill cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday at James H. Davis Funeral Home in Owensboro. Georgia Mirl Clark

Georgia Mirl Clark, 79, of 2953 McAlister Place, Apt. B, Owensboro, died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Knottsville native was a homemaker, member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church and enjoyed walking at the mall and spending time with friends. She was preceded in death by a son, George Mitchell Clark, in 1947; and a daughter, Diana Marie Clark, in 1952.
Survivors include her husband, George H. Clark; six sons, Anthony Wayne Clark, Curtis Ray Clark and James Jerry Clark, all of Owensboro; Charles Don Clark of Lewisport, Dennis Roger Clark of Georgetown and Paul Darriel Clark of Whitesville; 23 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles John Payne of Owensboro; and a sister, Rita Mae Stiff of Owensboro.
Services are at noon Friday at Blessed Mother Catholic Church in Owensboro. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Prayers will be said at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Raymond L. 'Doodlebug' Collignon

LAUREL, Md. -- Raymond L. "Doodlebug" Collignon, 67, of Laurel died Monday, July 16, 2001, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was a Daviess County native.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannie Collignon; three sons, Raymond Collignon, Steve Collignon and Kenneth Collignon, all of Laurel; four grandchildren; and his mother, Phyllis Collignon of Owensboro.
Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Bethany Community Church in Laurel. Visitation is from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Flecke Funeral Home in Laurel.
Robbie Lee Nance Hust

SLAUGHTERS -- Robbie Lee Nance Hust, 76, of Slaughters, died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Senior Citizens Nursing Home in Madisonville from diabetes complications. The Webster County native was a homemaker and member of Slaughters United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Hust; two daughters, Debbie Dunville of Slaughters and Susan Hust of Greenville; a granddaughter; and her mother, Naomi Todd Nance Orsburn of Madisonville.
Services and burial are private. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Tompkins Funeral Homes, Hanson Chapel in Slaughters. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to a favorite charity.
Elizabeth Pollard Kunau

Elizabeth Pollard Kunau of 2033 Littlewood Drive, Owensboro, died there Tuesday, July 17, 2001. The Ruston, La., native was a member of Zion United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Walter Kunau, on Oct. 23, 1971; and two sons; Walter Lawrence Kunau Sr. on Sep. 12, 1990, and James Pollard Kunau on July 5, 1961.
Survivors include six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lillian Erixson of Owensboro.
Services are at 10 a.m. Friday at James H. Davis Funeral Home in Owensboro. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Dorothy A. Otterson, 71, of Hillcrest Healthcare Center, Owensboro, died there Wednesday, July 18, 2001. The Louisville native was a homemaker and worked at Frisch's and Jerry's restaurants. She was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral and worked as an aide at Rosedale Nursing Home. A son, David Otterson, died Aug. 18, 1968.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Otterson; two daughters, Mary Roach and Audrey Clouse, both of Owensboro; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Helen Berry of Ashland, Ann Critchloe of Bowling Green and Maxine Smallwood of Media, Pa.

CENTERTOWN -- Lanelda June Kimmel Rowe, 78, of Rockport, Ky., died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at Ohio County Hospital. She was an Ohio County native. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Rowe.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Rowe and David Bruce Rowe, both of Merrilville, Ind.; a daughter, Allene Rowe of Rockport, Ky.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Billie Gene Kimmel of Huntsville, Ala.
Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Duke-Bevil Bros. Funeral Home Inc. in Centertown. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery in Central City. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
William Tevis Boulware

SUN CITY CENTER, Fla. -- William Tevis Boulware, 83, of Sun City Center died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, in Wooster, Ohio. The Daviess County native was an Army veteran of World War II, a Pearl Harbor survivor and graduated from Daviess County High School. He supervised the wind tunnels at NASA Lewis Research Center for 30 years and was part of the team that helped launch John Glenn on his first space flight.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Helen Louise Boulware; three sons, Richard Boulware of Elkin, N.C., Gary Boulware of Beavercreek, Ohio, and Jay McCormick of Owensboro; a daughter, Lynne Buss of Wooster; nine grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
Memorial services are at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Smithville, Ohio. Burial will be in Apple Creek cemetery in Apple Creek, Ohio. McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home in Wooster is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Boulware Center in Owensboro.
Irene Jarvis Genet

CENTRAL CITY -- Irene Jarvis Genet, 83, of LaGrange died there Monday, July 16, 2001, at Tri-County Baptist Hospital. The Muhlenberg County native retired as a telephone operator and was a member of Centerfield Baptist Church in Crestwood. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include a son, Richard Couch of LaGrange; and a granddaughter.
Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery in Central City. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

SCOTTSVILLE -- Tom Murley, 88, of Scottsville died there Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Medical Center. The Cumberland County native had worked for Detrex, was a farmer and member of Second and Maple Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Ocie B. Murley; two sons, Bobby Joe Murley of Owensboro and James Carroll Murley of Scottsville; a daughter, Brenda M. Harris of Franklin; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home in Scottsville. Burial will be in Beech Grove cemetery. Visitation is after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Albert Gerald Payne

REYNOLDS STATION -- Albert Gerald Payne, 65, of Reynolds Station died Monday, July 16, 2001, at his home. The Ohio County native retired from the Marines as a first sergeant and retired from Barmet Aluminum. He was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and NASCAR. A son, Larry Wayne Payne, died in 1961.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Barbara Phelps Payne; three sons, Steven Payne of Owenton, Jerry Payne of Dawson Springs and Michael Payne of Owensboro; a daughter, Ann Huff of Whitesville; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Irland Payne of Reynolds Station and Charles Payne of Whitesville; and two sisters, Marjorie Payne of Owensboro and Deloris Wells of Reynolds Station.
Services are at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Whitesville. Burial will be in Cates cemetery in Whitesville. Visitation is after 10 a.m. today and after 8 a.m. Thursday at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville. Prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
