James Clark
HENDERSON — James L. Clark, 86, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at Norton Healthcare Pavilion in Louisville.
He was a World War II Army veteran and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1114. He was a member of Hyland Baptist Church.
He was a member of the Eagles Country Club and bowled with Arc Lanes Primetimers Bowling League and Echo Lanes Club 55 Bowling League.
Surviving are two daughters, Pamela J. Clark and Dixie Bullerman, both of Louisville; three sisters, Lucile Mardirosian, Dorothy Jewell and Mary Katherine Moore, all of Henderson; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, with private burial in Fairmont cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
George Buchanan
MADISONVILLE — George L. Buchanan, 70, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at his home in Camby, Ind., of cancer.
He retired in 1992, after working more than 30 years as a draftsman for Union Carbide in Speedway, Ind.
He was a Korean War Army veteran.
He was a member of the Mooresville (Ind.) Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
Surviving are two daughters, Amy K. Zimmerman of Madisonville and Debra L. Tyree of Camby; a son, John E. of Terre Haute, Ind.; four sisters, Bessie Mae Parker and Lucille Thomas, both of Madisonville, Waneta Bowers of Robards and Joyce Ramsey of Dawson Springs; four brothers, James W., Raymond and Eugene, all of Madisonville, and Harlon L. of Henderson; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and his companion, Nancy Plummer
Services will be at noon Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home, with burial in Bethlehem cemetery.

Frances Barron
HENDERSON — Frances L. Barron, 77, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and an honorary member of the Niagara Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna Hunter of Eddyville and Peggy Respondek of Henderson; two sons, James D. Jr. of Niagara and Mike of Glasgow; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband of 58 years, James D. “Two Penny” Sr., died in 1997.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, with burial in St. Louis cemetery.
Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. and from 9:30 a.m. to service time at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.
Hayward Revell
UNIONTOWN — Hayward L. “Sonny” Revell, 70, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at Madisonville Regional Medical Center of liver cancer.
He was the owner and operator of Revell’s Tree Service in Chicago.
He was a Korean War Army veteran, serving with the 82nd Airborne.
He was General Baptist.
Surviving are nieces and nephews; and caregivers, Mabel Frost and Henrietta Vaughn. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Odd Fellows cemetery. There will be no visitation at Harris Funeral Home.

Patricia Gadomski
MARION — Patricia Ann (Gilmore) Gadomski, 53, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at Livingston County Hospital of heart failure.
She was a member of the Marion United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Rempp of Philadelphia; a son, Roman of Philadelphia; and three grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Marion United Methodist Church. There will be no visitation at Gilbert Funeral Home.
Harold Morse Greer
ILSLEY — Harold Morse Greer, 78, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at his home.
He was a coal miner with Peabody Coal Co. and a World War II Amy veteran. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia C. (Mayes); three daughters, Willine Adams, Maranda Laffoon and Vivian Baker, all of Dawson Springs; two sons, Clifford Rice of White Plains and Walter Greer of Dawson Springs; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 pm. Wednesday at Beshear Funeral Home, with burial in Cranor cemetery in St. Charles.

Dixie Bebout
PRINCETON — Dixie Lane Bebout, 100, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at Lake Wales Medical Center in Lake Wales, Fla.
She had been a school teacher and was a Baptist.
Surviving are a daughter, Frances Morse of Indian Lakes Estates, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Claude, died in 1958.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Morgan’s Funeral Home, with burial in Meeks cemetery in Caldwell County.

Owen McGregor
DAWSON SPRINGS — Owen Andrew McGregor, 63, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at his home. He had cancer.
He was a coal miner and auto body repairman.
He was a member and elder of the Family Worship Center.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; a daughter, Patsy Jennings of Charleston; two stepdaughters, Kim Duncan and Shan Hardwick, both of Dawson Springs; four sons, Roy and Mark, both of Dawson Springs, and Patrick Wayne of St. Augustine, Fla., and Johnny of Effingham, Ill.; two sisters, Carolyn Adams and Mary Hooper, both of Dawson Springs; a brother, James Earl of Hanson; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
His first wife, Ila Joyce (Thompson), died in 1974.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Beshear Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Grove cemetery.

Charlie Griffin
HENDERSON — Charlie Clay “C.C.” Griffin, 92, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at Methodist Hospital.
He had owned and operated the Standard Oil Station in Henderson.
He was a member and had served as a deacon for more than 40 years at the Immanuel Baptist Temple.
Surviving are a daughter, Joy Ann Mitchell of Henderson; two sons, James E. of Henderson and Jerry Clay of Hawesville; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, with burial in Fairmont cemetery.

Jessie Ashby
EARLINGTON — Jessie Choate Ashby, 85, died Monday, Nov, 6, 2000, at Versnick Health Care Center in Madisonville.
She had owned the Choate Service Station in Earlington and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Willa Dean Carlton of Earlington; two grandchildren, Vickie Foreman and Rob Carlton; a great-granddaughter; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert L. Choate, in 1960 and J.W. Ashby, in 1998.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Reid-Walters Funeral Home, with burial in Oakwood cemetery.

Claude Davis
POOLE — Claude Wilson Davis, 75, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at his home of complications of cancer.
He retired from McCullough Auto Parts in Evansville.
He was a World War II Navy veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy; a daughter, Diane Grant of Poole; a son, the Rev. Claude Alan of Anchorage, Alaska; a brother, Alfred Davis of Evansville; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Shady Grove General Baptist Church.
