Anna Koperski
STURGIS — Anna Boston Koperski, 90, of Toledo, Ohio, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at Flower Hospital in Lake Park, Ohio.
Surviving are a son, David Boston of Toledo; two brothers, Emmett Jr. and Ernest Mimms, both of Russellville; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Whitsell Funeral Home, with burial in Pythian Ridge cemetery.

Ruby Tosh
MARION — Ruby Tosh, 86, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, at the Hilltop Nursing Home in Kuttawa.
She was a member of Frances Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Sue Tosh of Kuttawa; two stepsons, W.L. and Billy Simpkins, both of Evansville; three sisters, Hazel Miles of Nashville, Tenn., Marjorie Fox of Travers City, Mich., and Mary Applegate of Princeton, N.J.; a brother, Virgil Fuller of Crown Point, Ind.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Linon Simpkins and Ezra Tosh, and a daughter, Phylis Phillips.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home, with burial in Frances cemetery.

Ina Mae Huntington
HENDERSON — Ina Mae Huntington, 81, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at her home.
She was a member of Robards Christian Church.
Surviving are her husband of 28 years, the Rev. John Huntington; a stepdaughter, Mary H. Jobe of Sebree; a son, Samuel O. McMullin Jr. of Tampa, Fla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Albert Strain
CLAY — Albert Marshall Strain, 83, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at Madisonville Regional Medical Center.
He was a World War II Army veteran and member of the American Legion Post 289.
Surviving are a sister, Fonda Forester of Alton, Mo.; a brother, Oliver Gene of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and Jackie Byrum who cared for him.
His wife, Helois, died in 1999.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Vanover Funeral Home, with burial in Odd Fellows cemetery, with military rites. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Rev. Bob Williams
PRINCETON — The Rev. Bob C. Williams, 83, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at his home.
He was a Baptist minister and pastor and member of the First Baptist Church in East Prairie, Mo., for more than 13 years.
Surviving are two sisters, Dorothy Steele of Hopkinsville and Loraine Williams of Vidor, Texas; and nieces and nephews.
His wife, Jackie, died in October.
Services will be at noon at Morgan’s Funeral Home, with burial in Rose Hill cemetery in Central City.

Ronnie Towery
PRINCETON — Ronnie Towery, 55, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
He was a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church in Caldwell County.
Surviving are two daughters, Tracy Genseal of Caldwell County and Karla Jo Walker of Princeton; a son, Troy of Princeton; five sisters, Ann Massey, Dola Tosh and Leoma Wigginton, all of Fredonia, Idell Prowell of Caldwell County and Rudell Watson of Princeton; four brothers, Jake, Huey and Eddie, all of Caldwell County, and Glover of Jacksonville, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Morgan’s Funeral Home, with burial in Pleasant Hill cemetery.

James Jennings
DAWSON SPRINGS — James Darrel Jennings, 50, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at Madisonville Regional Medical Center.
He was a self-employed mechanic and was a member of Southards Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Eunice (Truckey); a daughter, Linda Brunker of Dawson Springs; a son, Doug York of Cadiz; a sister, Nellie Ipock of Madisonville; two brothers, Johnny of Dawson Springs and Frank of Tacomma, Wash.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vonetta York.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Morgan’s Funeral Home, with burial in Lafayette cemetery in Hopkins County.

‘A.D.’ Westerfield Jr.
OWENSBORO — Allie David “A.D.” Westerfield Jr., 77, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, at his home.
He had been a machinist for General Electric Co.
He was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mary Ann Lindsay and Patty Westerfield, both of Evansville, and Kathryn Crowe and Cecelia Cox, both of Owensboro; four sons, Allen David III of Lexington, Joe and Tony, both of Owensboro, and Bill of Ooltewah, Tenn.; a sister, Aura Jean Scheff of Denver; a brother, Hugh of Fort Wayne; 17 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
His wife, Mary Mildred, died in 1997.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Precious Blood Catholic Church, with burial in Resurrection cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today, with a rosary service at 7 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at James H. Davis Funeral Home.

Annis Walker
CLAY — Annis Lee Walker, 82, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000, at her home of cancer. She was a member of Rock Spring Baptist Church in Wheatcroft.
Surviving are four daughters, Nancy Leggett of DeMotte, Ind., Tommie Jean Warren of Providence, Fay Vaughn of Clay and Sandra McClemore of Prattville, Ala.; five sons, Charles Johnson of Evansville, Jack Johnson of Owensboro, Les Johnson of Clay, Bennie Johnson of Marion and Lynn Walker Jr. of Dixon; a sister, Hallie Frances Hill of Paglan, Calif.; 23 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husband, Jackson Johnson Jr., in 1948 and Lynn Walker Sr., in 1980 and a son, Jimmie Ray, in 1936.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Grace Baptist Church, with burial in Sugar Grove cemetery in Marion.

Frances Ashby
MADISONVILLE — Frances Corum Ashby, 85, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2000, at Madisonville Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution and a Kentucky Colonel.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Palumbo and Kelly LaMure, both of Madisonville; a son, Charles Corum of Naples, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ben, in 1986 and a daughter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, with entombment in Madisonville Odd Fellows cemetery.

Virgil Majors
EARLINGTON — Virgil Lee Majors, 81, of St. Charles, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at Riverside Hospital in Kankakee, Ill.
He retired from coal mining.
He served as a corporal in the Army during World War II.
He was a member of the Caldwell Chapel AME Zion Church in Kankakee and had been a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Earlington.
Surviving are a daughter, Marilyn Fairrow of Kankakee; six adopted daughters, the Rev. Tryphenia McEastland, Cynthia Barnes, Othella Dunigan, Edwina Bonds, Bernadette Stewart and Debra Prude; three sons, Warren Rogers of O’Fallon, Ill., and Mark Wilson and Dallas Rogers, both of Earlington; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary in Madisonville, burial in Oakwood cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
