Keith Carter
HENDERSON — Keith “Kotty” Carter, 43, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at Methodist Hospital of a heart attack.
Surviving are a daughter, Karen Carter of Bluff City; a son, Ryan S. Carter of Henderson; a sister, Elizabeth Jean Peaches of Warsaw; and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, with burial in Roselawn cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Russell Prow Sr.
MADISONVILLE — Russell Aubrey Prow Sr., 94, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at National Health Care Nursing Home.
He had been the owner of Prow Brothers Plumbing until his retirement in 1970.
He was a member of First Christian Church.
He was a charter member of Lions Club, a member of Rizpah Temple, a Mason and a Kentucky Colonel. He was a member of the Madisonville Volunteer Fire Department and was made an honorary fireman in 1998 during the dedication of the fire truck “Big Bertha.”
Surviving are three daughters, Joy Sisk and Sharon Crafton, both of Madisonville and Shirley Overfield of Newburgh; a son, Russell A. Jr. of Madisonville; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Helen (Ivey), on June 17.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Harris Funeral Home, with burial in Odd Fellows cemetery.

Gladys Haywood
GRAND RIVERS — Gladys M. Haywood, 82, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000, in Dawson Springs.
Surviving are a son, Richard Shakk of Hanover, Pa.; and two grandchildren, Janel Jimdar and Richard Shakk.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William C., in 1999.
Services were Tuesday at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado, Ill. Burial was in Elmwood cemetery in Equality, Ill.
Ralph Moore
MORGANFIELD — Ralph Moore, 86, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at Redbanks Nursing Home.
He retired from Sun Oil Co. and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Pauline; two daughters,
Sharon Cissell and Diane Alvey, both of Morganfield; a son, Darrell of Morganfield; five sisters, Kathleen Hite and Gladys Blake, both of Morganfield, Helen Frazier and Sue Goben, both of Henderson, and Betty Jo Bjornberg of Clearwater, Fla.; two brothers, Parvin of Morganfield and Leonard of St. Louis; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Ann Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

Muriel Casey
HENDERSON — Muriel Pyle Pritchett Casey, 76, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville of complications of liver disease.
She retired from Union County Health Department after 20 years. She was Green Valley Child Care representative, was on Green River District Home Health Board and a member of Henderson County Homemakers Chorus.
She was a life member of Poole Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Fidelis Sunday school class, Women’s Missionary Union and church choir and was a pianist and organist.
Surviving are her husband of 29 years, James; a son, Michael S. Pritchett of Henderson; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, with burial in Fernwood cemetery.

Joanna Dennis
HENDERSON — Joanna F. “Fanny” Dennis, 92, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at Community Methodist Hospital.
She retired from Kusan Plastic Inc.
She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Elaine Rhodes of Bridgeport, W.Va.; a son, Danny Galloway of Ann Arbor, Mich.; three sisters, Elizabeth Moore Howard of Henderson, Virginia Brown of Waverly and Agnes Duncan of Evansville; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Frank, died in 1965 and a son, Albert Galloway, in 1990.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Name of Jesus Church, with burial in Fairmont cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m., and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.

Bessie Owen
LIVERMORE — Bessie Taylor Owen, 92, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Owensboro.
She was a member of Woodwards Valley Baptist Church in Ohio County and did crochet and needlework.
Surviving are a son, Chadwick of Livermore; a sister, Ruth Humphrey of Livermore; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Roy Hector, died in 1980.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Muster Funeral Homes Livermore Chapel, with burial in Pleasant Hill cemetery in McLean County.

Clara Owen
STURGIS — Clara Owen, 89, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at Redbanks Nursing Home in Henderson of cancer.
She was Baptist.
Surviving are seven daughters, Lucy Lorene Hunt of Dahlgren, Ill., Glenna Ruth Odom of Henshaw, Welda Jean Brown of California, Margery Gale Dowdy and Opal Jewell Owen, both of Henderson, Arnella Cleo Farmer of Dayton, Texas, and Irla Angela Chrisymas of Alma, Ga.; five sons, Sherman Lloyd of Clay, Ray David Owen-Coy of Henderson, Ellis Bradley of Wheatcroft, Grady Franklin of Sturgis and Coy Thuman of Idaho; and grandchildren.
Her husband, Dave, died in 1974.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Whitsell Funeral Home Sturgis Chapel, with burial in Pythian Ridge cemetery.

Bettie Love
MORGANFIELD — Bettie L. Love, 81, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at Community Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
She taught at St. Ann Catholic School and was a volunteer at the hospital auxiliary and Morganfield Nursing and Rehab.
Surviving are two sons, Danny L. of Henderson and James W. of Charlottesville, Va.; three grandsons; and three great-granddaughters.
Her husband, Orlyn, died in 1994.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Whitsell Funeral Home Morganfield Chapel, with burial in Maple View cemetery in Marion.

Hilda Sneed
ST. CHARLES — Hilda Louise Sneed, 69, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
She retired from General Electric Co. as a laser operator after 18 years.
She was a Christian.
Surviving are her husband, James “J.C.”; two daughters, Alice Utterback of Talladega, Ala., and Carol Rector of Madisonville; three sons, Roger, Bruce and Joe, all of St. Charles; a sister, Vernell Hamby of Bowling Green; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Beshear Funeral Home, with burial pending.
