Infant Serenity Fulkerson
OWENSBORO — Serenity Michelle Fulkerson, infant daughter of Bridget Faith Gilmore and James Michael Fulkerson of Philpot, was stillborn Thursday, May 4, 2000, at Owensboro Mercy Health System.
Also surviving are a sister, Alexis Faith Roby, at home; and her grandparents, Doug and Pat Gilmore and Barbara Fulkerson.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in St. Williams cemetery in Knottsville.
There will be no visitation at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home in Owensboro.
Aline Mae Oldham
MADISONVILLE — Aline Mae Oldham, 90, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home.
She owned and operated Oldham’s Grocery for 27 years.
She was a member of Madisonville First Christian Church and the Stephen Ashby Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Surviving are a daughter, Doris Vidakovits of Mountain View, Calif.; three sons, James of Hanson, Wayne of Leesburg, Fla., and John of Ledbetter; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Her husband, J.D., died in 1981.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, with burial in Grapevine cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Robert Edge Sr.
KNOTTSVILLE, Ky. — Robert Louis “Bobby” Edge Sr., 62, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at his home of cancer.
He retired from Local 692 after 25 years and then worked for East Daviess County Water Association.
He was a life member of St. William Catholic Church in Knottsville and a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Lions Club.
Surviving are his wife, Lillian; four daughters, Sandra Higdon and Vicki Jones, both of Owensboro, and Mary Jean Payne and Sheila Roby, both of Knottsville; four sons, Clarence of Philpot, Dr. Frank Edge of Evansville, Larry of Knottsville and Rob of Owensboro; his mother, Leah of Knottsville; six sisters, Patsy Bennett, Mary Isbill, Joyce and Margaret Mills, Dorothy “Dottie” Morris and Anna Turner, all of Knottsville; a brother, Joe of Knottsville; and 16 grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at St. William Catholic Church in Knottsville, with burial in St. William cemetery.

Forrest Payne
MARION, Ky. — Forrest C. Payne, 78, died Monday, March 13, 2000, at his home.
Surviving are two sisters, Mary Sicher of Dearborne, Mich., and Virginia Packenham of Tucson, Ariz.; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Mount Zion cemetery.

Ida Waldroup
MARION, Ky. — Ida E. Waldroup, 95, died Thursday, March 16, 2000, at Crittenden County Convalescent Center in Marion.
Surviving is a sister, Beulah Griffith of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William.

Jane Higgins
MADISONVILLE, Ky. — Jane Higgins, 82, died Thursday, March 16, 2000, at Regional Medical Center.
She retired from Watson’s Department Store and worked at Tucker’s Cafe.
She was a member of the Second Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir, and a former member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Bennett of Hobart, Ind.; four sons, J.B., John, Bill and Bruce, all of Madisonville; four sister, Opal Carbagal of Lincoln Park, Mich., Rachel Baucum of Dawson Springs, Robbie Mock of Marietta, Ga., and Meekle Clark of Madisonville; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl B., in 1999, and by a daughter and a son.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, with burial in Pleasant Grove cemetery.

PRINCETON, Ky. — Tom Ferguson, 81, died Thursday, March 16, 2000, at Caldwell County Hospital in Princeton.
He was a retired salesman, having worked for Hodge Motors and Trice Hughes Chevrolet in Princeton.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Princeton, the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Anne (Irwin); a daughter, Sidney Ferguson of Princeton; a son, Wayne of Ellicott City, Md.; and a brother, W.O. “Bus” of Caldwell County.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Morgan’s Funeral Home, with burial in Millwood cemetery in Caldwell County.

STURGIS, Ky. — Julia Bishop Crosson, 85, died Thursday, March 16, 2000, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Sturgis.
Surviving are her husband, Larry; and two grandchildren, Debra Ann Parker and Kenneth Top.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Bishop Top, in 1995.

James Capps
HANSON, Ky. — James Edwin Capps, 72, died Sunday, April 23, 2000, at his home of pulmonary arrest.
He had been a farmer.
He was a Korean War Army veteran.
Surviving are two sisters, Mildred Parker Sr. of Hanson and Lela Hibbs of Nebo; and nieces and nephews.

Eddie Westerfield
OWENSBORO, Ky. — Eddie Westerfield, 73, died Monday, April 24, 2000, at his home of cancer.
He had been a supervisor in the design and construction engineering department at the Texas Gas Corp.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
He was a member of the Parrish Avenue Church of Christ.
For 29 years, he coached Babe Ruth Baseball.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Neva (Worley); a daughter, Donna Lee of Owensboro; two sons, Michael B. of Panama City, Fla., and Alan N. of Owensboro; five sisters, Frances Haven of Cromwell, Theda Daugherty of Terre Haute, Ind., Wilma Renfrow of Beaver Dam, Yvonne Brown of Newburgh, Ind., and Linda Jo Westerfield of Evansville; four brothers, Glenn of Daytona Beach, Fla., Jack of Evansville, Jim of Nashville, Tenn., and David of Marietta, Ga.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at James H. Davis Funeral Home, with entombment in Rosehill cemetery Mausoleum.

HENDERSON, Ky. — Ada (Dixon) Robertson Johnson, 98, died Saturday, April 22, 2000, at Red Banks Nursing Home.
She was on the mother board, in the senior choir and past member of the usher board at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Henderson.
Surviving are two sons, Ernest and Maurice Robertson; 20 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Henderson, with burial in Fernwood cemetery.
