Mary McDaniel
CALHOUN, Ky. — Mary Bernice McDaniel, 82, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at Riverside Manor Health Care Center.
She worked as a child care giver.
She was a member of Calhoun Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and her grandchildren.
Surviving are three daughters, Brenda McDaniel, Sheryl Evans, both of Calhoun, and Margaret Willis of Waverly, Tenn.; a brother, Wilbur T. Lee of Calhoun; three grandchildren; and a stepgreat-grandchild.
Her husband of 50 years, Denis James McDaniel, died in 1989.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Muster Funeral Home Calhoun Chapel, with burial in Calhoun cemetery.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Wilbur Clark
MADISONVILLE, Ky. — Wilbur Lee Clark, 73, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired purchasing agent for Island Creek Coal Co. and Green River Coal Co.
He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and was a former basketball coach for St. Agnes High School in Uniontown during the late 1950s.
He was a World War II Navy veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia “Shug” (Clements); five daughters, Charlene Carson and Anita Anderson, both of Madisonville; Patty Cotton of Dawson Springs, Joann Fritz of Henderson and Natalie Hemmerle of Madisonville; a son, Greg of Madisonville; a sister, Nancy Towe of Madisonville; a half brother, Alan Paul Brown of Winfield, Kan.; 14 grandchildren and another soon expected; four step grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Christ the King Catholic Church in Madisonville, with burial in Odd Fellows cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home.

Peggy Adams
TOLU, Ky. — Peggy Sue Adams, 70, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at Crittenden County Hospital of heart failure.
She was a member of Tolu Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Douglas; four sons, Larry of Equality, Ill., John of Lincoln, Ill. and Terry and Ron, both of Marion; a brother, Stan Brockenbrough of Michigan; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Hurricane cemetery.
There will be no visitation at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion.
Irma Lockerby
HENDERSON, Ky. — Irma “Dean” Lockerby, 61, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at Methodist Hospital of an apparent heart attack.
Surviving are her husband of 14 years, Pete; a daughter, Beverly Roberson; a son, Robert L. Turner of Henderson; her mother, Dillie Barron of Henderson; a sister, Joyce Culver of Henderson; a brother, Michael Barron of Henderson; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Helen McGregor
MADISONVILLE, Ky. — Helen (Groves) McGregor, 75, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at her home of emphysema.
She was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Rabbit Ridge.
Surviving are three daughters, Hattie Lucille Davis, Connie Mathis and Debra Sue McGregor, all of Madisonville; two sons, Richard D. of Madisonville and John W. of Beulah; a sister, Valley Mae Taylor of Madisonville; a brother, L.T. Groves of Mount Vernon, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William, in 1981, and by two sons, William Cleath and Tony Curtis McGregor.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Harris Funeral Home, with burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Addie Miller
SULLIVAN, Ky. — Addie Lena Miller, 78, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at Methodist Hospital in Morganfield of cancer.
She wrote the “Sullivan Notes” for The Sturgis News.
She was a member of Mount Pleasant Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Sullivan, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and was past president of the Sullivan Fire Department Auxiliary.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Kay Damin of Morganfield and Karen Sue Gray of Sturgis; a sister, Georgie Smith of Morganfield; three grandchildren, Kim Johnston and Matt and Marle Gray; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett, in 1997, and by a daughter, G. Ann Johnston, in 1975.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Whitsell Funeral Home Sturgis Chapel, with burial in Pythian Ridge cemetery in Sturgis.

PROVIDENCE, Ky. — Dallas Ross Pryor, 64, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at his home of cancer.
He retired from Western Kentucky Hospital Services after 23 years.
He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, where he served as a Sunday School teacher and trustee.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Dean (Belt); two daughters, Sandra Sandberg and Janet Gobin, both of Providence; a son, Samuel of Havelock, N.C.; a sister, Ann Sigler of Providence; three brothers, Henry and Sidney, both of Providence, and Bruce of Nebo; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Keith.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Melton Funeral Home Providence Chapel, with burial in Lakeview cemetery.

Loyce Marvel
SULLIVAN, Ky. — Loyce “Pete” Marvel, 82, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
He retired from the Ford garage in Sturgis.
He was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Union County.
He was a World War II veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Myrtice; four stepdaughters, Annetta Stokes and Gwen Russelburg, both of Sturgis, and Cindy Blakeley and Mona Bryan, both of Morganfield; three stepsons, Donald and Ted Singleton, both of Baton Rouge, La., and Robert Kanipe of Morganfield; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Whitsell Funeral Home Sturgis Chapel, with burial in Rosebud cemetery in Crittenden County.

Bob Sears
PRINCETON, Ky. — Bob Sears, 83, died Sunday, March 12, 2000, at Caldwell County Hospital.
He retired from the Princeton Hosiery Mill.
He was a member of the Ogden Memorial United Methodist Church and the Rotary Club.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen (Shepherd); a daughter, Suzy Meisenheimer of Naperville, Ill.; a son, Rocky of Princeton; a sisters, Martha Ann Cruce of Paducah; five grandchildren, Toby, Tim and Andy Meisenheimer, and Dean Duane Sears; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ogden Memorial United Methodist Church, with graveside services at 12:45 p.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah.

Juett Gibson
LIVERMORE, Ky. — Juett H. “Buck” Gibson, 79, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, at Owensboro Mercy Health System in Owensboro.
He retired from Thompson Homes as a carpenter. He was a member of Richland Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran.
Surviving are three daughters, Eva Blake of Lexington, Ruth Ann West of Calhoun and Beatrice Hall of Owensboro; a son, Juett H. Jr. of Livermore; two sisters, Karlene Howard of Calhoun and Jo Stinnett of Lake Station, Ind.; three brothers, Jack of Clarksville, Ind., Bill of Elba and Arville of Fullerton, Calif.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Richland Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Muster Funeral Home Livermore Chapel.
