MADISONVILLE, Ky. — Pasquel L. Skinner, 81, died Friday, Dec. 17, 1999, at his home.
He worked for Thornberry Construction Co. in maintenance.
Surviving are his wife, Lana (Oglesby); three sons, Ronnie of Madisonville, Dennis of Henderson and Terrell of Bowling Green; a brother, Charles of Providence; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Odd Fellows cemetery.

Nina Scott
MORGANFIELD, Ky. — Nina (Duckworth) Hunt Scott, 65, died Friday, Dec. 17, 1999, at her the home of her son in Union County of cancer.
She was a member of Woodland Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Rebecca Mills of Henderson; two sons, Bobby Lloyd Hunt of Morganfield and Thomas W. Hunt of Florida; a sister, Janice Sheffer of Morganfield; a brother, James Stanley Duckworth of Morganfield; seven grandchildren, Bobby Hunt Jr., Jennifer Marie Arnett, Shelby, Ryan and Hanna Mills, Timmy Sheffer and Tammy Paul; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Whitsell Funeral Home Morganfield Chapel, with burial in Odd Fellows cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
Carlos Lantrip
MADISONVILLE, Ky. — Carlos O’Neal Lantrip, 79, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 1999, at his home.
He worked for Quality Plating in Evansville as a metal plater and polisher.
He was a member of Grapevine Missionary Baptist Church and was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
Surviving are a stepdaughter, Margrette Gann of Newburgh, Ind.; a son, Carlos Wayne; a sister, Naomi Carter of Madisonville; a brother, Bill of Nebo; a half brother, Orville Lantrip of Equality, Ill.; two grandchildren; two step grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
His wife, Ester Ross Lutz, died in 1985.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Odd Fellows cemetery.
There will be no visitation at Harris Funeral Home.
Eleanor Fleming
MADISONVILLE, Ky. — Eleanor K. Fleming, 96, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at Madisonville Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church in Buffalo, N.Y.
Surviving are a son, Clinton B. of Leesburg, Fla.; two granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter.
Her husband, John Bernard, died in 1965.
Memorial visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, with burial in the Elm Lawn cemetery in Buffalo.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Women’s Missionary Union at the church.
Mabel Morrow
DIXON, Ky. — Mabel Morrow, 86, of Muskogee, Okla., died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at Muskogee Regional Hospital.
Surviving are a son, David of Muskogee; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Audrey, and a son, Johnny.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Townsend Funeral Home, with entombment in Fairmont Mausoleum in Henderson.

Charles Rooney
HENDER-SON, Ky. — Charles D. Rooney, 78, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at his home.
He retired from Period Tables in Henderson.
He was a World War II Army veteran, a hunter and a fisherman.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Bellow of Henderson; a son, Tim of Henderson; a sister, Martha Tanaka of Henderson; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
His wife, Marie, died in 1998.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, with burial in Fairmont cemetery, with military rites.
Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

G.T. Ingram
MARION, Ky. — G.T. Ingram, 79, died Monday, Nov. 15, 1999, at Crittenden County Hospital.
Surviving are a sister, Vera Stallions of Marion; a brother, Paul of Marion; and a niece and nephew.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home, with burial in Pleasant Grove cemetery.

Thornton Cullen
PRINCETON, Ky. — Thornton Cullen, 73, formerly of Key Largo, Fla., died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at Madisonville Regional Medical Center of respiratory failure.
He had been a commercial fisherman.
He was had been a deacon for more than 20 years in the First Baptist Church in Key Largo.
He was a World War II Navy veteran and member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Providence.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; a daughter, Betty Gregory of Orlando, Fla.; a son, Douglas of Key Largo; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Melton Funeral Home in Providence, with burial in Palms Woodlawn cemetery in Florida.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Children’s Home.
Cecilia Hedges
HENDERSON, Ky. — Cecilia Ann Hedges, 68, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at Methodist Hospital. The cause of her death has not yet been determined.
She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Kelly Purgeason of Reed; five sons, Thomas and Scott Waggener, both of Henderson, and Pat, Mark and Robbie Spalding, all of Henderson; three sisters, Georgia Smith of Louisville, Ohio, Mary Morris of New Lebanon, Ind., and Clara O’Nan of Waverly; six brothers, James T. Buckman of Henderson, William T., John R., Charles W. and Stephen W. Buckman, all of Waverly, and Raymond L. Buckman of Morganfield; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Waverly, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m., and from 8 a.m. to service time at Whitsell Funeral Home.
Mary Brooks
SEBREE, Ky. — Mary Elizabeth Brooks, 81, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at the Redbanks Health Care Facility in Henderson.
She had worked at Scott Manufacturing.
She was a member of the Sebree First Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Judy Bryan of Paducah, Janet Knight of Evansville and Sue Brooks of Henderson; a stepdaughter, Favian Mae Wiles of Sebree; a foster daughter, Diana Majors of Sebree; a son, Cecil of Chandler, Ind.; a stepson, Cletus Ray of Sebree; two sisters, Loretta Brooks of Providence and Ruby Hardaway of Evansville; a stepsister, Barbara Chainey of Henderson; two brothers, Franklin Hailman of Robards and Kenneth Hailman of Henderson; eight grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, and two step grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Tompkins Sebree-Poole Chapel, with burial in Mount Pleasant cemetery near Slaughters.

Eunice Whitaker
CALHOUN, Ky. — Eunice Whitaker, 84, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at her home.
She was Southern Baptist.
Surviving are her husband, Glover; two stepsons, Terry Woodger of Fallon, Nev., and Tim Whitaker of Unionville, Nev.; a sister, Mary Cornish of Bradford, Ark.; six step grandchildren; and 12 step great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Muster Funeral Home Calhoun Chapel, with burial in Calhoun cemetery.
