BEECH CREEK - Lucien Hardison, 82, of Beech Creek died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at his home. He was a retired coal miner, a member of Riverside Baptist Church and a World War II veteran.
Survivors include a son, Jesse Hardison; and two brothers, Berley Hardison and Leslie Hardison.
Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Riverside Baptist Church. Burial: Riverside cemetery in Drakesboro. Visitation: After 5 p.m. today at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home. Lie in state: From noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Virgil Hinton

Virgil Hinton, 88, of Cloverport died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born Nov. 9, 1916, in Balltown, son of the late John Edward Hinton and Elizabeth Betty Brickey Hinton. He was a retired salesman from Cambron Chevrolet in Tell City, Ind., and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Cloverport Baptist Church and was a devoted father and loved to hunt, fish and sing gospel music.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Saundra Bishop and Kenny Bishop of Owensboro; a granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Tonja and Dewayne Simpson of Lewisport; two great-grandchildren, Zackery Simpson and Cassaundra Simpson, both of Lewisport; stepgrandchildren, Michelle Gray of Cloverport and Kenneth Bishop of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Cloverport Baptist Church with the Rev. Truman Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Cloverport cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m. Friday at Wallace Funeral Home in Cloverport.
Clarence Edward Bice Jr.

Clarence Edward Bice Jr., 65, of 7070 Highway 81, Owensboro died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He had worked for Wills Contracting as a painter.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Bice and Tony Bice; two daughters, Amy Payne and Melinda Leonard; a brother, Billy Bice; and three sisters, Audrey Robinson, Mary Miller and Patty.
Private services were held. Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mary Ann Livers

Mary Ann Livers, 92, of Whitesville died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at Carmel Home in Owensboro. Mary was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard "Red" Livers, in January 1995. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting and gardening.
She is survived by a sister, Della Y. McCoy of Owensboro; two brothers, James Yates and Herman Yates, both of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Whitesville. Burial will be in St. Mary cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after noon Wednesday at Cecil Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Carmel Home.
Clyde Edward Moore

CENTRAL CITY - Clyde Edward Moore, 76, of 509 Park St., Central City, died Friday, March 18, 2005, at his home. He was born May 21, 1925, in Muhlenberg County and was retired owner and operator of Central City Lumber Co. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Green River General Baptist Church in Central City and Central City Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by a son, Joey Moore in 1987.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Moore of Central City; a son, Brent (Dana) Moore of Central City; a daughter, Sheila (Ernie) Bullock of Central City; and five grandchildren, Mark, Stacey, Elisha, Kaleb and Kyle.
Services are at 1 p.m. Monday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with the Rev. Jewell Martin officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery in Central City. Visitation will be after 4:30 p.m. today at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City.
Barbara Ann Manson

Barbara Ann Manson, 61, of 419 W. Ninth St., Owensboro, died Thursday, March 17, 2005, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center. She retired from the Army as an administrator.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Mason; two sons, Danny L. St. Clair and Timmy St. Clair; a daughter, Lee Ann St. Clair Roby; a brother, Eddie Hillard; and three sisters, Jean Hillard, Jan Blair and Marie Nelson.

Gary G. Guisewhite

REO, Ind. - Gary G. Guisewhite of Reo died Friday, March 18, 2005, at his home.
Gary was born in Newton, N.J., on Jan. 5, 1949. He was the owner of Carquest Auto Parts Store in Tell City, Ind.
Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Carol Guisewhite; a son, Colt Guisewhite of Rockport, Ind; a daughter, Arlene Erich of Maceo; four grandchildren, Kirk, Abby, Samuel and Clara Erich.
Graveside services 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Mount Zion cemetery in Richland, Ind., with the Rev. John Hilbert officiating. Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport is handling the arrangements.

Clara Bell Eley, 92, of Whitesville died Friday, March 18, 2005, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Chapman, Kan., and was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading and making hairpin lacing. She was preceded in death by Harold Clauson Sr. and Glen Eley.
Survivors include three sons, Harold Clauson of Owensboro, Vernon Clauson of Canyon City, Colo., and Richard Clauson of Columbus, Ga.; four daughters, Laura Ratliff of Lexington, Glenda Howard of Whitesville, Judy Logan of Canyon City and Mary Milton of Banks, Ala.; 26 grandchildren; 86 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Laura Smith of Mission, Texas.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville with burial in Cates cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Monday at Cecil Funeral Home.
James 'J.B.' Edge

James "J.B." Edge, 74, of Whitesville died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Daviess County and was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. He retired from the Daviess County Road Department after 37 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Sue Christian Edge; his children, Karen Thompson of Owensboro, Lisa Clark of Philpot, Mike Edge of Owensboro and Steve Edge of Whitesville; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 8:30 a.m. Friday at Cecil Funeral Home, with prayers at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Katie L. Hidenrite, 83, of 325 Segrave Drive, Daytona Beach, formerly of Owensboro, died Saturday, March 12, 2005, at Good Samaritan Center in Florida. She was born Feb. 19, 1922, in Breckinridge County to the late Hardin and Effie (Stillwell) Soper. She was of the Baptist faith. Many remember Katie for her Labor Day and Memorial Day garage sales. She was preceded in death by her husband, Parvin Hidenrite, on Sept. 26, 1997.
She is survived by four sons, Ed Hidenrite and Gary Hidenrite, both of Rockport, Ind., and Bruce Hidenrite and Mark Hidenrite, both of Owensboro; a daughter, Katie Ann Mentor of Ormond Beach, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Wilhelmina Duncan of Maceo.
Graveside services are at noon Saturday, March 19, at Elmwood cemetery in Owensboro. There will be no visitation. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Alzheimer's Association, Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter, 3703 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, KY 40220-1330. James H. Davis Funeral Home in Owensboro is in charge of arrangements.

BOONVILLE, Ind. - Eric W. Hinton, 64, of 2400 Keenland Parkway, Owensboro, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at Veterans Administration Hospital in Marion, Ill. He worked at Industrial-Weyerhaeuser Inc.
Survivors include two sons, Derek Hinton and Dwayne Hinton; a daughter, Debra Neal; a brother, Timothy Hinton; and two sisters, Susie Miller and Lisa Bornhop.
Services and burial are at a later date. Visitation: From 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Koehler Funeral Home, Boonville chapel.
