Robyn Hanrahan, 40, of Independence, died Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a switch technician with Cincinnati Bell Telephone and a volunteer with the Shelter for Battered Women.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Hanrahan; a daughter, Amber Hanrahan of Independence; her parents, Gayle and Betty Duncan of Walton; and sisters, Susan Cooper of Taylor Mill and Amber Duncan of Walton.

Edna Michels, 80, of Covington, died at 8:30 p.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North in Covington. She was a retired housekeeper with St. John Nursing Home, Covington.

M. H. "Jack" Morgan, 89, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Northern Kentucky, died Friday at Heritage Health Care Center in Naples. He was a retired sales manager and a member of Naples Presbyterian Church. He also was a Mason and a Shriner.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Morgan; and sons, Jack B. Morgan of Mt. Dora, Fla., and Thomas O. Morgan of Cedartown, Ga.

LaWanda June Ogden, 69, of Latonia, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at her home. She was a former antiques dealer with Columbia Antiques, Cincinnati, and a member of Holy Cross Church, Latonia. Her husband, Ervin Gerald Ogden, died in 1995.
Survivors include a daughter, Dolores Trusty of Latonia; sisters, Betty Morgan of Indianapolis and Irma Wernsing of Covington; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Ruth Smiley, 72, of Georgetown, died Saturday at Georgetown Extended Care Center. She was a homemaker and a member of Berry United Methodist Church, Harrison County.

Lawrence William Winkle, 37, of Morning View, died Sunday at his home. He was a farmer and a member of Butler Baptist Church.

Ft. Wright's Thomas Covington, gave generously to poor; loved ham radio
Thomas L. Covington of Ft. Wright gave almost everything he had to charity.
Mr. Covington, 81, died at 7:57 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.
He was a retired engineer for Cincinnati Bell and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Covington, where he served as a deacon, an elder and clerk of session with the church.
"He was very religious," said a daughter, Diana Doll of Union. "He gave to numerous charities. He gave a lot of money to his church. And he gave money to poor people for shoes or coats at the soup kitchen. He gave everything he had."
Mr. Covington was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and the Toastmaster Club. He was an amateur radio operator and a soup kitchen volunteer.
Mr. Covington began tinkering with ham radio as a youngster. He developed an interest in communications that led to his work at Cincinnati Bell, his daughter said.
"He did ham radio until he got ill," Mrs. Doll said. "He talked to people all over the world."
Other survivors include his wife, Ruth Kampsen Covington; daughters, Carolyn Whelen of New Fairfield, Conn., Nancy Covington of Ft. Mitchell, Joyce Steffen of Florence, Marlene Lyons of Dry Ridge, Lee Ann Gamm of Owenton and Janice Jaber of Cold Spring; a sister, Irene Kaldy of Katy, Texas ; 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Entombment will be in St. Mary Mausoleum, Ft. Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to the church, 1400 Highland Ave., Covington, Ky. 41011.

Goldie Morris Barrett, 92, of Georgetown, formerly of Pendleton County, died Monday at her home. She was a homemaker.

Anna Mae Graue, 87, of Covington, died at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Augustine Church Pathfinders. Her husband, Frank A. Graue, died in 1977. A son, Franz "Butch" Graue, died in 1996.

Mary Lou Hedgecock, 79, of Berlin, died Saturday at her son's home in Highlands Ranch, Colo. She was owner of Hedgecock Grocery Store in Berlin and a member of Willow Baptist Church, Bracken County. Her husband, Morford Hedgecock, died in 1990.
