Paul Mario Diciero, 76, of Bellevue, died at 3:22 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke Hospital East, Ft. Thomas. He was a retired restaurant owner.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine Lehman Diciero; daughters, Linda Kummero of Port Clinton, Ohio, Paula Schwarberg of Highland Heights, Diane Miller of Dayton, Lisa White of Southgate and Gina Weisgerber of West Chester, Ohio; a son, Paul Diciero Jr. of Southgate; a brother, Vincent Diciero of Cincinnati; and three grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Therese Church, Southgate. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas, with prayers at 10:30. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate.

Barbara Flinchum, 56, of Lexington, formerly of California, Ky., died at 12:15 a.m. Sunday at University Hospital in Lexington.
Survivors include brothers, Marvin Flinchum of Dayton, Glenn Flinchum of Newport, George Flinchum of Alexandria, and Marcus Flinchum of Southgate; and sisters, Sylvia J. Baker of Avon, Ind., Joyce Sanders of Indianapolis and Peggy Fike of Covington.

Bessie Harris, 98, of Visalia, died at 3:10 p.m. Friday at Woodspoint Nursing Home, Florence. She was a homemaker. Her husband John Harris, died in 1976.
Survivors include a son, Billy Harris of Bethel, Ohio; daughters, Mary Lou Sanders and Jewell Pettit, both of Covington, Josephine Cox of Visalia and Lulu Heideman of Erlanger; a sister, Ella Mosley of Brodhead; 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren.

Flora M. Ledford, 84, of Florence, died at 11:40 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke Hospital West in Florence. She was a homemaker and a member of Community Pentecostal Church of God, Taylor Mill. A son, William S. Rob ertson, died on May 30.
Survivors include her husband, Howard S. M. Ledford; daughters, Jan Robertson Houston of Walton and Barbara Pope of Independence; sons, David Glenn Robertson of Richwood, James O. Mildred Lee Hall Reynolds, 75, of Bellevue, died at 4:45 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke Hospital East, Ft. Thomas. She was a cafeteria worker with Bellevue Schools, and a member of Highland Avenue Baptist Tabernacle, Ft. Thomas. A son, Gary Lee Reynolds, died earlier this year.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Reynolds Sr.; daughters, Deborah Ann Young of Batavia, Ohio, and Penelope Ann Huskey of Wapakoneta, Ohio; a son, Michael Reynolds of Bellevue; a sister, Genella Monhollen of Florence; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Emma L. Roland, 56, of Holbrook, died at 2:35 p.m. Friday at her home of cancer. She was a bank teller with Eagle Bank, Dry Ridge, and a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Holbrook.

Roy T. Stone, 84, of Williamstown, died at 3:20 p.m. Saturday at Gallatin Health Care Center, Warsaw.
He was a retired truck driver with Belcher Oil Co., Miami, and a member of Mason Baptist Church, Grant County. He was a former employee of Crittenden Truck Stop and Ballenger's Gulf Station in Crittenden. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
A son, John William "Stoney" Stone, died in 1993.
Survivors include his wife, Mary S. Stone; sons, Roy Stone II of Crete, Ill., and Larry Wayne Stone of Sparta; a stepson, Richard Gordon of Erlanger; daughters, Barbara Stith of Williamstown and Sharon Kay Willis of Alexandria; a sister, Virgie Ryan of Dayton, Ohio; 21 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Caney Thompson, 52, of Falmouth, died Saturday in an automobile accident. Arrangements are pending at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth.

Chemist Carlos Cole, loved family, yard work
His yard may have been small, but Carlos James Cole kept it manicured.
"He loved to fuddle around with trees, bushes and flowers," said his wife, Jane Prindle Cole. "It's small, but he kept it full."
One of Mr. Cole's favorite pastimes was working in the yard, which he did until he was well into his 70s.
The Dayton resident died at 3:15 p.m. Sunday at St. Luke Hospital in Ft. Thomas. He was 75.
Mr. Cole was born in Athens, Ala. He was a teen-ager when he moved with his mother and three sisters to Kentucky in 1939.
He worked at a hamburger stand in Newport until he went into the Army and was stationed in the Pacific Islands during World War II.
When he returned, he got a job at Newport Steel in 1947. He retired as a chemist after 37 years.
He married Mrs. Cole in 1948. They lived in Newport for several years before moving to Day ton, where they raised their five children.
When he wasn't working at the steel factory, he loved to read and work in the yard.
"He was a very good man, very sweet," Mrs. Cole said. "We've had a good life together."
Other survivors include daughters, Colette Cole-Saner of Newport, Anita Buechel of Charlotte, N.C., Patti Cole of Livermore, Calif., and Judy Cole of Dayton; a son, Jim Cole of California, Ky.; sisters, Hazel Clifford of Bellevue and Robbie Lehmann of Cincinnati; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Wednesday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Bellevue. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas.

Myrtle Allen, 92, of Warsaw, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a retired X-ray worker. Her husband, Robert Allen, died in 1973.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Martin of Elsmere; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
