Rita Catherine Eton Wagner, 77, of Dayton, died Monday at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Bernard Church in Dayton. Survivors include her husband, James F. Wagner; a daughter, Mary Anne Habel of Villa Hills; sisters, Cecelia Schaffield of Dayton and Ann Grever of Newport; a brother, Lawrence Eton of Washington , D.C.; three grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Dayton. Willard Wallace, 89, of Lauderhill, Fla., formerly of Dayton, died at 4:21 p.m. Friday at Florida Medical Center in Lauderhill. He was a retired salesman with Cloverleaf Dairy, and a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Newport.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Utz Wallace; and a sister, Irene Mastrapoalo of Middletown.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Bellevue. Visitation will begin there at 1 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Memorials are suggested to the church, Eighth and Monroe, Newport, Ky., 41071.

Lynn Beckley Nielander Whitney, 62, of West Covington, died at 1:08 a.m. Monday at Batavia Nursing and Convalescent Inn in Batavia, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church of Taylor Mill. A daughter, Deborah Ann Nielander, died in 1973.
Survivors include sons, James Nielander of Independence, Thomas Nielander of Taylor Mill and Joseph Nielander of Florence; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services were this morning at Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Memorials are suggested to Northern Kentucky animal shelters. Dobbling Funeral Home, Bellevue, is handling arrangements.

Ruby Wherry enjoyed people, volunteering
For several years, Ruby E. Wherry was a volunteer at the Covington Community Center, filing papers and answering telephones.
"She just wanted to be part of her community," said a daughter, Linda Wherry of Delhi, Ohio. "She just loved being with people and doing whatever she could for them."
Mrs. Wherry, 69, of Covington, died Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
Mrs. Wherry loved being around her grandchildren. She also enjoyed attending the high school football games of her grandsons. She was well- known for the chocolate chip cookies she made.
Mrs. Wherry could often be found working in her yard and garden. She was a friend to many.
"If people were in need, she always tried to help them out," Linda Wherry said. "She was a loving and caring person."
Other survivors include her husband, Robert "Bill" Wherry; daughters, Mary Jane Wherry-Hagar of Covington and Jody Wherry Marks of Erlanger; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Monday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Monday.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger.

Bill R. Bergman, 64, of Covington, died at 9:10 p.m. Thursday at his home.
He was a retired assembler for Cincinnati Milacron, having retired in 1995 after 28 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Bergman; sons, William R. Bergman of Independence and Robert A. Bergman of Covington; daughters, Karen Swanson of Newport and Jenny R. Willen of Independence; a brother, Jack Mitchell of Covington; sisters, Betty Day of Burlington and Mary Landrum of Erlanger; and one grandson.

Roberta Wingfield Eaton, 84, of Cincinnati, formerly of Corbin, died Friday at Franciscan Hospital-Western Hills Campus, Cincinnati.
Survivors include daughters, Mary Melvina Ryan and Linda Eaton, both of Cincinnati; sisters, Eva Crowder of Swanton, Ohio, and Lucille Kramer of Toledo, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Katherine Zehnder Forshee, 43, of Florence, died Thursday at University Hospital, Cincinnati.
She was a deli clerk for Remke Market, Florence, and a member of St. Henry Church, Erlanger.

She was a clerk for Booth Hospital, Covington, having retired in 1975 after 20 years of service. She was a member of First Christian Church, Covington.

She was a retired mail clerk for American Book Binding and a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Dayton.

Mary C. "Kay" Fisk Pritchard, 77, of Avilla, Ind., died Thursday at Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Avilla.
She was a bookkeeper for Indiana Surgical Co., Indianapolis, for 20 years, having retired in 1983. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Indianapolis.
Survivors include daughters, Kathleen Wuellner of Edgewood and Denise Lemmon of Albion, Ind.; a brother, Lloyd Fisk of Indianapolis; a sister, Winifred Craig of Indianapolis; and six grandchildren.

Harold R. Arnold, Harrison magistrate
Harold Ruby Arnold was in love with his hometown of Cynthiana.
"He loved the town and I feel the town loved him," said Mr. Arnold's daughter, Janet Arnold Johnson of Charleston, S.C. "He lived on Main Street, with three churches around him."
Mr. Arnold, a magistrate on the Harrison County Fiscal Court, died Saturday in Harrison Memorial Hospital, Cynthiana. He was 79.
"The town was his pastime. He would go for a walk at 6 a.m. every morning to look over things," said Mrs. Johnson.
"He was as good of a friend as a fellow could have," said State Rep. Tom McKee, who served on the fiscal court with Mr. Arnold for 15 years. "He was just an outstanding citizen, and very dedicated to the people of Harrison County."
A retired automobile salesman for several dealerships, Mr. Arnold had served 15 years on the fiscal court and was making plans to run again. A Democrat, he served county District Two.
"Each term was going to be his last one,
but then he would run again. His district had been made larger, and he felt he should run once more. He wanted to serve 20 years. . .that was important to him," said Mrs. Johnson.
Mr. Arnold had been a pallbearer on Thursday, for the funeral of a woman in his church, said his wife, Mildred Auchter Arnold. "It was all very sudden," she said of her husband's death.
Along with politics, Mr. Arnold was active at Central Christian Church, where he was a deacon. He was also involved with preserving a Baptist Church in Harrison County, Mrs. Johnson said.
Mr. Arnold was a member of St. Andrews Masonic Lodge and Thomas Ware Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of the Cynthiana Lions Club and the Elks Lodge.
In addition to his wife and daughter, survivors include sisters, Virginia Hill of Lexington and Joanna Henson of Cynthiana; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Drake Funeral Home, Cynthiana. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, with Masonic services at 8 p.m. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery, Cynthiana. Memorials are suggested to Central Christian Church or Sunrise Cemetery

Roy Kenneth Bishop, 65, of Falmouth, died Friday at St. Luke Hospital East, Ft. Thomas. He was a truck driver, farmer, and a member of Oakland Christian Church, Pendleton County.
Survivors include his wife, Goldie Courtney Bishop; sons, Roy Kenneth Bishop Jr. of Florida, and Tony Bishop and Kenny Ray Bishop, both of Falmouth; daughters, Peggy Bishop and Kathy Bishop, both of Falmouth; a sister, Blanche Forsythe of LaGrange; a brother, William Bishop of Los Angeles; and two grandchildren.
