Ruthie Juanita Jackson

Ruthie Juanita Jackson, 79, Glasgow, died Thursday, March 10, 2005, at the Glasgow Health & Rehabilitation Center. A native of Pennington Bend, TN, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ella Stinson Sneed. She was a caregiver to the elderly and a member of the Apostolic United Pentecostal Church in Glasgow.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons, including Emily Wilson of Glasgow; several grandchildren, including Sam Wilson of Glasgow.
Private burial was held at the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
Floyd Kettle
March 12, 1913 - December 31, 2001
Floyd Kettles age 88 of Oil City Road, Glasgow died Monday December 31, 2001 at the Glasgow Health Care Center. He was the son of the late Joel and Lydia Smalling Kettles. He was a Retired Farmer and Butcher for the Grinstead Slaughter house.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Clarine White Kettles, One Brother Ray Kettles and One sister Louise Elmore.
He is survived by One Daughter: Anna Coates of Glasgow. Two Sons: Melvin Kettles of Dry Fork and Donald Kettles of Glasgow. A twin Brother Cloyd of Glasgow. Twenty Five Grandchildren and 31 Great Grandchildren also survive
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10:00 AM Wednesday.
Jane Wagner McCoy
June 11, 1918 - September 25, 2002
Jane Wagner McCoy, 84, Raintree Place, Glasgow, died Wednesday at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A daughter of the late Emma Pearson and G. W. Wagner, she was a homemaker, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Glasgow and a charter member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Manis and her husband, Buck, Charlene Wisdom and her husband, Barry; one son, Mike McCoy and his wife, Martha Carol, all of Glasgow; six grandchildren, Jerry McCoy, Cara Wisdom, Virginia Webb, Stacey McCoy, Broner McCoy and Blake Manis; three great-grandchildren, Emily McCoy, Allie Knight and Broner Wayne McCoy; two brothers, James Wagner of Glasgow and Harold Wagner of Scottsburg, IN; two sisters-in-law, Mary Rose Sparks of Glasgow and Lila Craig of Cincinnati; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil B. McCoy; one son, Virgil Wayne McCoy; one grandson, Mark Redman McCoy; one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the First United Methodist Church or a favorite charity.
Sonya L. Lindner
August 25, 1972 - October 7, 2002
Sonya L. Lindner, 30, of Cave City died Monday, October 7, 2002 at her residence. She is the daughter of William Carl Lindner, Jr. and the late Frances Wiley.
Besides her father she is survived by two children: Amber Lilndner and Anthony Lindner both at home. Two brothers: William Carl Lindner of Glasgow and Ervey Dudley Wiley of Cave City; two sisters: Marianne Lindner and Menyon Keys of Cave City.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home until time for services.
Clifton McCluskey
December 10, 1941 - February 27, 2003
Clifton McCluskey, 61, of Cave City, KY died Thursday, February 27, 2003 at the Bowling Green Medical Center. He was the son of the late Wiley McCluskey and Gladys Shaw McCluskey. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife Kathy McCluskey; two sons: Kelly McCluskey of Horse Cave and Tracy McCluskey of Cave City; two daughters: Saundra McCluskey of Horse Cave and Stacey Emberton of Bonneville; several grand children and great-grandchildren; one brother: Wiley Gene McCluskey; one sister: Mary K. McClard.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Cave City cemetery. Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Glondie Pace Pursley
September 28, 1922 - March 13, 2004
Glondie Pace Pursley, 81, Glasgow, died Saturday, March 13, 2004, at the NHC Health Care Center. A native of Lecta in Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Clara Glass Pace. She was a homemaker and a factory worker, having worked at Handmacher Fashions for 15 years and later at Sorensen’s, where she worked for 27 years until her retirement. She was a very active member and former Sunday School Teacher of the South Green Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include three children, Elizabeth Ann Hood and her husband, Roy Wayne, of Glasgow, James A. Pursley and his wife, Vicky, of Gallatin, TN, Ackley Pursley and his wife, Patricia, of Mesquite, TX; three brothers, Murel Pace of Bloomington, IL, Zeldon Pace of Louisville and Avery Lenox Pace of Great Falls, MT; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Averil Lynn Pursley; one sister, Iris Pace Taylor; and three brothers, Demery Pace, Glatys Pace and Darrell Pace.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2004, at the South Green Street Church of Christ with burial in the New Salem cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the church. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
Jayden Glenn Ryan

Jayden Glenn Ryan, 3 months old son of Tabitha Lynn Moulder and Jordan Chance Ryan, died suddenly Wednesday, July 2, 2008.
In addition to his parents, survivors include maternal grandparents, Terry Hiser (Pa) and Larry Moulder; paternal grandmother, Linda Ryan (Mammaw); great-grandparents, Ray and Bea Green, Barbara Brown and Marguerite Ryan; aunt, Myra Moulder; uncles, Chris Ryan, Nick Moulder, T. J. Moulder and Ray Ryan; great-aunts, Tina Duvall (Nene) and Debbie Daniel and husband, Jared; cousins, Ben and Emma Daniel; and godfather, Brent London.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Peggy Hiser, and paternal grandfather, Glenn Edward Ryan.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 4, 2008, at the Glasgow Municipal cemetery under the direction of the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
Lonnie Overstreet
April 3, 1928 - April 25, 2005
Lonnie William Overstreet, 77, of Glasgow died Monday, April 25, 2005 at the Glenview Health Care Center. He was the son of the late Charles and Hazel Rush Overstreet.
He is survived by several cousins.
Graveside service will be 1:00 Tuesday at the Owens Chapel cemetery. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Jeremy "Scotty" Martin
November 4, 1975 - June 10, 2004
Jeremy Scott “Scotty” Martin, 28, Bowling Green, died Thursday, June 10, 2004, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville . A former resident of Glasgow, he was a 1994 graduate of Glasgow High School and a former drum major of the Glasgow Scottie Band. He was classroom instructor at AFNI in Bowling Green .
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Linda and Tim Sanders of Bowling Green; his father, Joel Martin of Bradenton, FL ; one sister, Brandi Claywell of Glasgow ; one nephew, Tyler Claywell; one niece, Riley Claywell.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2004, at the House of Prayer in Edmonton with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 12-9 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home and after 12 noon Monday at the church. James Larry Lyons
March 31, 1937 - March 14, 2004
James Larry Lyons of Cave City, died Friday, May 14, 2004 in Cave City . He was the son of the late James Reed Lyons and Marie Speck Lyons.
He is survived by one brother: Sammy Lyons and his wife Rachel of Glotry Oklahoma; two sisters: Patsy Davis and her husband Willard of Brevard, North Carolina and Martha Butler and her husband Marion of Bonnieville, Kentucky. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be after 3:00 Monday at the funeral home.

Mary Lucille Glass Nichols, 71, Glover Road, Glasgow, died Saturday at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. The daughter of the late Joe and Della Katherine Huff Glass, she was a homemaker and a member of the Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Frank Nichols; one daughter, Brenda Taylor and her husband, Doug, of Eighty-Eight; three grandchildren, Cynthia Shirley, Rochelle Wood and Michael Taylor; one brother, George R. Glass of Glasgow; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
