Marvin B. Dailey
September 10, 1924 - March 14, 2003
Marvin B. Dailey, 78, Glasgow, died Friday, March 14, 2003, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Loretta, KY, he was a son of the late Edward B. and Mary Thelma Nash Dailey. He was a retired roller operator at Anaconda Aluminum, a veteran of WW II, having served with the United States Air Force, and a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include two sons, Ron Dailey of Commiskey, IN and Marvin Dailey, Jr. of Louisville; one daughter, Brenda Kerstetter and husband, Jim, of Naples, FL.; his companion, Wilma Jackson of Glasgow; five grandchildren, Rhonda Dailey Jackson, Jason Dailey, Dana Capps, Dr. Christie Dry and Bill Mercer; five great- grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Elsie Mae Grubbs Dailey and Gracie Louise Cox Dailey, and a brother, Jack Dailey.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. CST, Sunday, March 16, 2003, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, Monday, March 17, 2003, at Zachary Taylor National cemetery in Louisville. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Louise Haley
1918 - 2003
Louise Haley, 84, Glasgow, died Sunday at her residence. A daughter of the late Jess and Bessie Lee Lewis Haley, she was a retired seamstress at Handmacher Fashions in Glasgow and a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sisters, Eunice Ramsey of Glasgow and Mintie Basham of Albany; one brother, J.C. Haley of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Laverne Wyatt and three brothers, Wendell Haley, Neal Haley and Ray Lewis Haley.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pam Hollinsworth
January 3, 1955 - June 15, 2007
Pamela Wood Hollinsworth, 52, Glasgow, died Friday, June 15, 2007, at her residence. A native of Daviess County, she was a daughter of the late Charles William Wood and Mae Patrick Wood Wainscott. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jason Chad Grissom of Bowling Green and Cliff Alan Hollinsworth of Mt. Hermon; one grandson, Nicholas Casey Grissom; two sisters, Wilda Dever of Livermore, KY, and Gayle Gillim of Alvaton; one brother, Charles Ferrell Wood of Claxton, GA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Alan Hollinsworth and one sister, Jane McGhee.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at the Bethlehem cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
William Martin "Billy" Gaddie
May 30, 1935 - April 15, 2006
William Martin “Billy” Gaddie, 70, of Munfordville died Saturday, April 15, 2006 at the Caverna Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late William Alexander Leslie Gaddie and Ema Frances Knight Gaddie.
Survivors include his former wife: Sue Spradlin of Munfordville; one daughter: Debbie Dezern of Bowling Green; three sons: Marty Gaddie of Cave City Tony Gaddie of Munfordville and Terry Gaddie and his wife Kim of Glasgow; Ten grandchildren: Jennifer Dezern, Justin Miller, Kristen Gaddie, Joshua Gaddie, Lillie Gaddie, Blake Gaddie, Hanna Gaddie, Madison Gaddie, Chase Gaddie and Andy Gaddie; two sisters: Wanda McCluskey of Cave City and Helen Garrison of Texas. Also several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son Donald Ray Gaddie.
Funeral will be 11:00 A. M. Tuesday at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Timberlake cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
Carolyn Davidson
Carolyn Johnson Davidson, 82, Minneapolis, died Saturday, September 24, 2005. A native of Portland, OR, she graduated with a business degree from Oregon State University. She married
Burnett Davidson and moved to Kentucky, Louisiana and Northern Virginia. She was Research Administrator with the Veterans Administration. After retirement, she moved to Minneapolis to be near her family.
Survivors include her children, Martha Hanna, John (Nance) Davidson and Ann Davidson; granddaughter, Monica Piteo and fiancée Michael Beatty.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2005, in the Chapel of Glasgow Baptist Church. Inurnment will be in the Glasgow Municipal cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
Jeanie Davidson
June 4, 1958 - June 18, 2006
Jeanie Marie Davidson, 48, Glasgow, died Sunday, June 18, 2006, at her residence. A native of Wisconsin, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Helen Powell Sanders and worked in telephone line construction.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Davidson; two daughters, Jessica Jessie (Chris Gentry) and Brandy Davidson all of Glasgow; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Gentry and Blake Gentry; one sister, Debbie Jenders (Jim) of Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Antioch cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Jerry Wayne Hadley
January 22, 1958- June 29, 2001
Jerry Wayne Hadley, 43, Glasgow, died Friday at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Cumberland County, he was the son of William and Violet Ratliff Hadley, who survive. He was very active in boating activities, a truck driver, an avid University of Kentucky fan and a member of the Coral Hill Baptist Church.
He is also survived by his wife, Brenda and one brother, Robert Blake Hadley of Glasgow. He was preceded in death by one brother, William Hadley, Jr.

Jerry Lee Houchens
November 14, 1949 - November 6, 2006
Jerry Lee Houchens, 56, Austin, died Monday at his residence. He is the son of Thomas and Joyce Lynell Elmore Houchens. He was an employee of Dana Corporation.
Besides his parents he is survived by one son: Thomas Wayne Houchens of Glasgow; one daughter: Michelle Lee Houchens of Glasgow; two brothers: Charles Houchens of Glasgow, David Houchens and his wife Phyllis of Austin, KY, one sister: Wanda Houchens Finn and her husband Buddy of Glasgow; Special Friends: Charlie and Patricia Woodcock. Several nieces and nephews.
preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Holly and Nettie Houchens and his maternal grandparents: Zera Elmore and Rose Elmore.

James Leonard Hurt

James Leonard “Scooter” Hurt, 88, of Glasgow died Saturday, October 29, 2005 at the Barren County Health Care Center. He was the son of the late Isaac Hurt and Letha Bell Hurt. He was a veteran of WWII.
He is survived by a host of cousins.
Funeral will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Missionary Mound Baptist Church cemetery in Metcalfe County. Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
Doris Jean Davis
October 13, 1932 - November 19, 2007
Doris Jean Davis, 75, formerly of Glasgow, died Monday, November 19, 2007, at Bloomington Hospital- Orange County in Paoli, Indiana. A daughter of the late Myrtie Ethel Thomas and James Conley Ogden, she was a private health care provider and a Protestant.
Survivors include four children, Sharon Hicks and husband, Ron, of Campbellsville, Mike Davis and wife, Dee, of Louisville, David Davis and wife, Joan, of Shepherdsville, and Kim Webster and husband, Jesse, of Marengo, IN; 10 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2007, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Cedar Grove cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Roger Huffman
November 10, 1916 - April 27, 2004
Roger Evans Huffman, 87, Glasgow , died Tuesday, April 27, 2004 , at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital .
The lifelong Barren County resident was born November 10, 1916 , near Temple Hill, and was a son of the late John Hershell Huffman and Dee Branstetter Huffman. He was an employee of Bernard’s Department Store in Glasgow for over 60 years until the store closed. He was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church and was a graduate of the Cave City High School in 1934. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and served overseas in the campaign for the Philippines .
Survivors include two granddaughters, Kelly Jo Anderson and her husband, Sean, of Edmonton, and Andrea Hardin and husband, Joe, of Glasgow; one grandson, RexAllan Harrison and wife, Cristal, of Glasgow; one sister, Ada Frances Huffman of Louisville; two great- grandchildren, Konnor and Kelsea Anderson; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Imogene Wooten Huffman; his son, Joe E. Huffman; two sisters, Lucille Conway of Cannelton, In; and Janie Lou Wittoesch of Dayton , Ohio ; and one brother, James Huffman of Louisville .
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 30, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, April 28, 2004 after 6:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
