Emma E. “Sal” Clack, 98, Glasgow, died Monday, January 12, 2004 at the Glasgow Health and Rehabilitation Center . A native of Metcalfe County, she was a daughter of the late Melissa Francis Hamilton and Benonia Bethel Edwards. She was a retired employee of Real Silk in Indianapolis and attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Glasgow .
Survivors include one sister, Ruby E. Jeffries of Savoyard and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Clayton Clack, four sisters and six brothers.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Committal service will be held 1:00 p.m. (EST) Friday, January 16, 2004, at Washington Park-East cemetery in Indianapolis. Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to a favorite charity.

Christopher Michael Clark, 25, of Glasgow, died Saturday, January 17, 2009. He was the son of William "Billy" Clark and Janice Mills Peden. He was a veteran of Operation Iraq Freedom.
He is survived by his wife: Jessica Maynard Clark; his mother: Janice Mills Peden; his father: William "Billy" Clark; step-father: Mike Peden; one sister: Michelle Satterly; one half-sister: Cynthia Hale; on step-sister: Donna Byrd; two step-brothers: Jeremy Peden and Micha Peden; one niece: Noelle Satterly; three nephews: Mitchell Garrison, Justin Satterly and Peyton Maynard; mother and father-in-law: Rodney and Staci Maynard.
Funeral will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Woodie officiating. Burial will be in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Georgia May Clark

Georgia May Clark, 100, Trigg Court, Glasgow, died Sunday at the Barren County Health Care Center. A native of the Hiseville community of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late George Henry and Mary Frances Galloway Hord. She was a retired teacher from the Glasgow City Schools and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Glasgow. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William Gordon Clark.
Survivors include two nieces, Katherine Esterly of Virginia and Francis Amatucci of Florida; one nephew, Roy Dan Squires of Florida; several great nieces and nephews, including Mac Newberry of Cave City.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the First Presbyterian Church.
Judy Gail Clark

Judy Gail Clark, 52, Knob Lick, died Saturday at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was a daughter of James C. Jessie and the late Beatrice Bush Jessie. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Clark; one son, Larry Dewayne Clark of Knob Lick; one daughter, Christy Clark Smith of Horse Cave; two grandchildren, Christopher Dewayne Clark and Corbyn Baley Smith; he father, James Jessie of Glasgow; three sisters, Norman Wright and husband, Lynn, Ann Slayton and husband, Gilbert, all of Mt. Hermon, Rita Thomas and husband, Steve, of Austin; five brothers, James Cecil Jessie and wife, Omie, of Scottsville, Leo Jessie and wife, Reba, of Glasgow, David Jessie and wife, Kathy, of Knob Lick, Daryle Jessie and wife, Beverly, of Edmonton, Ricky Jessie and wife, Stacy, of Knob Lick; several nieces and nephews.

Richard Dale "Red" Clark

Richard Dale “Red” Clark, 31, Knob Lick, died Thursday, September 13, 2007, at his residence. A native of Barren County, he was a truck driver for Mid-State Recycling and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two children, Richie Clark and Hannah Clark both of Glasgow; his mother, Frances “Tony” Clark of Knob Lick; his father, Carroll Key of Horse Cave; special friend, Melissa Wooten of Glasgow; maternal grandmother, Madeline “Bay” Clark of Knob Lick; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Clark and paternal grandparents, Olin Key and Etta Key.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2007, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Vanzant cemetery. Friends may call after 12 noon Saturday at the funeral home.
Jean Claywell
August 4, 1936 - May 18, 2003
Jean Claywell, 66, Lexington Drive, Glasgow, died Sunday, May 18, 2003, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A daughter of the late Herman L. and Annabel Dugard Keys, she was a homemaker and a former seamstress at Kentucky Pants Co.
Survivors include her husband, E. J. Claywell; one daughter, Sandra Vernon and her husband, Mitchell, of Glasgow; two grandchildren, Shelly Smith and her husband, Bryan, of Glasgow and Chris Jennings of Glasgow; two brothers, Joe Keys and his wife, Jane, of Glasgow, and Johnny Keys of Louisville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, two brothers and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Vechel Wayne "Train" Cloyd
October 27, 1937 - August 6, 2005
Veachel Wayne “Train” Cloyd, 67, Scottsville, died Saturday, August 6, 2005, at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital. A native of Monroe County, he was a son of the late Mertie Eurene Casteel and Willie Turner Cloyd. He was a member of the class of 1955 of Glasgow High School that had just had their 50th reunion. He was a member of the 1955 Glasgow Scottie Basketball Team that went to state, an avid golfer and motorcyclist.
Survivors include his step-mother, Ruby Cloyd of Glasgow; two daughters, Marla Wood of Glasgow and Lisa Enfinger of Alabama; 5 grandchildren, Nick Wood, Tim Wood, Ashton, Krisa and Lillian Enfinger; one brother, Mitchell Cloyd of Glasgow; one step-sister, Judy Dugger of Glasgow; several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the Old Mt. Hermon cemetery in Monroe County. Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Willie T. Cloyd
April 7, 1915 - March 24, 2003
Willie T. Cloyd age 87 of Glasgow died Monday March 24, 2003 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital He was the Son of the late Ed and Mucie Hammer Cloyd. He was retired from the Kentucky State Highway Dept. and the Glasgow Street Dept. where he served as assistant Superintendent. Before his illness he was an avid Golfer and Bowler and taught little league for many years. He was a member of the South Green Street Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife: Ruby Abston Cloyd Two Sons: Veachel Wayne Cloyd of Scottsville and Willie Mitchell Cloyd of Glasgow. Two Granddaughters: Marla Wood of Bon Ayr and Lisa Enfinger of Ga. One Step Daughter: Judy Dugger of Glasgow, a special nephew Brian Abston whom he raised. Two Brothers: JT Cloyd of Tompkinsville and Frank Cloyd of Ill. Three Sisters: Bassie Spear of Ill. And Louise Hammer and her husband virgil of Tompkinsville and Mary Ann Hale of Lafayette Tenn. Several Nieces and Nephews also Survive.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Myrtie Casteel Cloyd, three Brothers: Truman, Roy and Edward.
Funeral will be 2:00 PM Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Mt. Hermon cemetery in Monroe County. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10:00 AM on Wednesday.

Anna L. Coates, 62 of Glasgow, died Sunday, June 03, 2007 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Kettles and Clarine White Kettles. She was a member of Shepherds House Church at Slick Rock.
She is survived by five Sons: James L. Coates and his wife Judy, Joe Bud Coates, Robert D. Coates and his wife Trina, Bobby W. Vaughn and his wife Pam and Randy A. Vaughn and his wife Stephanie all of Glasgow; four Daughters: Bonnie Carver and her husband Rod, Connie Wooten and her husband Robert, Della Carver and her husband Jim and Crystal Vaughn and her husband Jonathan all of Glasgow: Twenty grandchildren: Amanda Cline, Veacheal Coates, Donnie Coates, Mary Coates, Crystal Mae Coates, Gabriel Coates, Madison Vaughn, Isaac Eubank, Jessica Carver, Jeremy Carver, Brandon Wooten, Chelsee Wooten, Chasity Wooten, Angela Goodman, Patrick Goodman, Ashley Broady, April Broady, Crystal Marie Pedigo, Tommy Dee Pedigo and Jason Ashdown; six great-grandchildren: Gage Carver, Braydon Wooten, Aaliyah Cardwell, Skylar Mansfield, Kasey Cline and Kayla Cline; two brothers: Melvin Kettles and Donnie Kettles both of Glasgow; A dear friend Linda Matthews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Della Coates; two brothers: Douglas Kettles and Jack Nifhong; four children; one great-grandson: Chase Allen Carver.
Funeral will 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Shepherds House Church with Bro. Jimmy Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Glasgow Municipal cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 A. M. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home and after 10:00 A. M. Wednesday at Shepherds House Church.

Ariene Coats, 63, a resident of the Glasgow State Nursing Facility, died Sunday, March 17, 2002 at the Glasgow State Nursing Facility. She was the daughter of the late Roy Coates and Gladys King Coats.
She is survived by one sister: Geraldine Burks and one brother: Charles A. Coats.

Cary Alan Coffey, 39, a residence of Oakwood Community Center in Somerset, Kentucky died Sunday, May 07, 2006 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.
He is survived by his parents Calvin and Carol Berry Coffey; one sister: Cathy Hogue and her husband Morris of Scottsville; one brother Chris Coffey and his wife Carol Ann of Glasgow; one nephew: Cody Hogue of Scottsville; several aunts, uncles, cousins and his extended family, Cottage six at the Oakwood Community Center.
Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Glasgow Municipal cemetery, with Bro. Larry Coffey officiating. Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M.
