Larry Jesse Smothers, 59, of Campbellsville died at 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, at his home.
He was the son of Jesse and Margaret Ellen Paris Smothers.
He was married
to Christine Mae Skaggs Smothers for 35 years. She survives.
Survivors also include four sons, Jason Smothers, Shawn Smothers, Scott Smothers and Justin Smothers, all of Campbellsville.
Funeral was Friday, Nov. 19 at Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto, Ky. The Rev. Vic Stansbury officiated. Burial was in New Market cemetery.

Varnam Larson "V.L." Cook, 84, of Greensburg, Ky., died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at his home.
He was the son of the late Ules Warren "Dodge" Cook and Cora Atwell Cook.
Funeral was Wednesday, Nov. 17 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial was in Macedonia cemetery. Bros. Bobby Atwell and Wilburn Bonta officiated.

Eugene Ray "Huggie Bear" Thurman, 62, of Greensburg, Ky., died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca J. Thurman Christie of North Carolina.
Funeral was Tuesday, Sept. 13 at Union cemetery in Adair County, Ky.
Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg are in charge of funeral arrangements.
Tommy Wayne Furr Sr., 63
Tommy Wayne Furr Sr., 63, of Campbellsville, died at 3:09 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, in Campbellsville.
He was the son of the late John Henry Furr and Jewell Geneva Harrod Furr.
He was married
to Marilee Markwith on Feb. 4, 1978. She survives.
Survivors include a son and a daughter, Tommy Furr Jr. of Campbellsville and Toni Jean Delgado of Riverside, Calif.
Cremation was chosen.
Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Margaret Skaggs, 88, of Campbellsville, died at 10:50 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011, in Campbellsville.
Daughter of the late Rhodie Cecil and Bennita Fogel Cecil, she was born in Marion County, Ky. on June 3, 1923. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
She was married
to Raymond J. Skaggs, who survives.
Clara Margaret Kallman, 76
Clara Margaret Kallman, 76, of Campbellsville, died at 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, in Campbellsville.
Daughter of the late Virgil A. Peterson and Rena Marie Burress Peterson, she was born in Vincennes, Ind. on Dec. 19, 1934. She was a retired employee of Metzmeier Nursing Home in Campbellsville and was a long time member of Taylor Regional Hospital Auxiliary.
She was married
to Edward Kallman on Sept. 4, 1982. He preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 1989.
Survivors include several cousins and other relatives and friends.
John M. Silver, 84
John M. Silver, 84, of Campbellsville, died at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011, in Campbellsville.
Son of the late Everet Silver and Bertha May Hunt Silver, he was born in Claire County, Mich. on June 17, 1927. He was a member of Elk Horn United Methodist Church. He was a lifelong farmer, who also worked several occupations.
He was married
to Carol A. Rose on March 8, 1957, in Angola, Ind. She survives.
Aline Beams, 87
Aline Beams, 87, of Summersville, Ky. died on Monday, Sept. 5, at the home of her daughter in Shepherdsville, Ky.
She was the daughter of the late Oscar Hardin Milby and Gracie Skaggs Milby.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Bragg of Shepherdsville and Dorothy Underwood of Summersville
Funeral is at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, Ky. Burial is in Wilson cemetery. Bros. Kelvin Edwards and Tim Shirley will officiate.

Nancy Ann Mullins Moore, 63, of Lewis Court in Greensburg died Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at her home.
She was the daughter of Aria Mullins of Campbellsville and the late Charles Mullins.
She was married
to Laurence Gibbs, who preceded her in death on June 18, 1995.
Bernice Davis, 81
Bernice Davis, 81, of Campbellsville, died at 7:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, in Campbellsville.
Daughter of the late Walter Earl Hash and Edna Underwood Hash, she was born in Taylor County on Jan. 28, 1930. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Phillip Morris in Louisville, Ky. and Campbellsville Laundry in Campbellsville. She was an honorary member of the Eastern Star.
She was married
to Garnett Davis Sr. on July 4, 1946. He survives.

Maxine Phillips, 86, of Campbellsville, died at 2:53 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, in Campbellsville.
Daughter of the late Charles W. Gribbins and Virgie Gunter Gribbins Herron Greene, she was born on Nov. 3, 1924, in Taylor County. She was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She was married
to Joseph F. Phillips on Jan. 6, 1939. He preceded her in death on Aug. 26, 1993.

Margaret Lane Shirley, 82, of Campbellsville, died at 2 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, in Campbellsville.
She was the daughter of the late Ike Lane and Eva Brockman Lane.
She was married
to M.D. Shirley on Oct. 2, 1944. He survives.
Survivors also include three daughters and a son, Maida Shines and Melinda D. Shirley, both of Campbellsville, Marcella Burress of Shepherdsville, Ky. and Michael Lane Shirley of Maryville.
Funeral was Thursday, Sept. 1 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville.

Lonnie S. Hedgespeth Jr., 79, of Campbellsville died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at Medco Nursing Home.
He was married
to Cordie Hedgespeth, who survives.
Graveside service was Saturday, Jan. 1 at Good Hope Baptist Church cemetery.

Phillip Creed Jeffries, 81, of Greensburg, Ky., died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital.
He was son of the late Ben Jeffries and Nona Whitlock Jeffries.
He was married
to Pearldean Pierce-Judd on Feb. 8, 1994. She survives.
Survivors also include four children, Tammy Jeffries Buggs of Washington County, Ky., and Phillip Herman Jeffries, Charles "Choppie" Jeffries and Malinda Jeffries, all of Green County, Ky.; and two stepchildren, Anita White and Glen Judd, both of Green County.

She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Coffey Hancock and Bessie Smith Hancock.
She was married
to George Braxton Callison on Dec. 23, 1933. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, George W. Callison of Hodgenville, Ky. and Donald Callison of Alabama; and a daughter, Carolyn Pruitt of Campbellsville.
