She was the daughter of the late Tom and Alice Close of Taylor County.

to Gary Stone, who preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, James “Jay” Gary Stone of Crofton, Ky.
Funeral was Monday, March 12, at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Brian Rafferty officiated.

Beatrice Lobb Squires, 85, of Greensburg, Ky., died Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Golden Living Center-Green Hill.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie Kessler and Brenda Kessler, both of Greensburg. Funeral was Saturday, March 10, at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bros. Steve Lee and Scott Eubank officiated.

Loretta Lay Harris, 48, of Campbellsville, died Friday, June 1, 2012, at her parents’ home in Casey County, Ky.
She was the daughter of John William and Rebecca Jean Hogue Lay of Liberty, Ky.
She was married
to Tony Harris of Campbellsville. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Cameron Harris of Campbellsville; and three daughters, Miranda Wethington and Nikita Harris of Campbellsville and MaKayla Harris of Liberty.

Kenneth "Ken" Lee Allison, 66, of Greensburg, Ky., formerly of Taylor County, died Saturday, June 2, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville.
He was married
to Betty Lou Clark Allison of Greensburg. She survives.
Funeral was Wednesday, June 6, at Greensburg United Methodist Church. Bro. Dale Curry officiated. Burial was in Liletown cemetery.

Joseph Richard "Ricky" Calhoun, 61, of Green County, Ky., died Friday, June 1, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
He was the son of Vechell R. and Regina Thompson Calhoun of Henderson, Ky.
Funeral was Sunday, June 3, at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, Ky. Bro. Danny Nelson officiated. Burial was in Old Thompson cemetery.
David Leigh, 62
David Leigh, 62, of Elk Horn, Ky., died at 7:32 a.m. on Monday, May 28, 2012, in Elizabethtown, Ky.
He was the son of the late Rufus John Leigh and Eulalia Clements Leigh and was born in Casey County, Ky., on Aug. 11, 1949.
He professed faith in Christ and attended Feathersburg Church of God.
Leigh was a forklift driver with Greensburg Manufacturing in Greensburg, Ky. He loved working on classic cars, hobby farming and deer hunting.
He was the best husband, best father, grandfather and great-grandfather anyone could have.
Annette "Rosie" Hager Jeffries, 77
Annette "Rosie" Hager Jeffries, 77, of Elizabethtown, Ky., died Friday, May 25, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Barna B. and Frances Edelen Hager.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
She was married
to Harley C. "Jeff" Jeffries, who preceded her in death.
Betty Elizabeth Jewell Davis Simpson, 80
Betty Elizabeth Jewell Davis Simpson, 80, of Donansburg, Ky., died Wednesday, May 30, 2012, from injuries she received in an automobile crash.
Daughter of the late John and Kate Smith Jewell, she was born in Jefferson County, Ky., on March 30, 1932.
She was married
to Edgar L. Davis on Sept. 17, 1949. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1988. She later married
Lewis "Bill" Simpson on Sept. 1, 2003. He survives.

A.R. Wood, 68, of Hazard, Ky., died on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at the Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
The son of the late Bud Wood and the late Lois Cook Wood, he was a self-employed insurance agent.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Missie and John Michael Quillen; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jon R. and April Wood and Sean Wood; a sister, Theresa Barger; a brother, Kevin Wood; a former wife and friend, Millie Dee Stevens; and four grandchildren, Alex Quillen, Bennet Quillen, Caiden Wood and Kylie Wood.

Kenneth "Jack" Collins, 81, of Campbellsville, died at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, in Campbellsville.
Son of the late Lilburn Collins and Lula Parsons Collins, he was born in Adair County, Ky. on Oct. 4, 1930.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church.
He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the United States Army.
Gladys Barnett, 90
Gladys Barnett, 90, of Campbellsville, died at 1:56 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2012, in Campbellsville.
She was the daughter of the late Willie Matt Dudgeon and Eva Carroll Dudgeon and was born in Taylor County on Nov. 15, 1921.
She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She married
Henry Barnett on Feb. 18, 1940. He preceded her in death Aug. 1, 2004.

Joyce Elaine Williams, 67, of Campbellsville, formerly of Louisville, Ky., died on Friday, May 25, 2012, after a long fight against cancer.
The daughter of the late Calvin and Frances Waters, she was born on Feb. 16, 1945. She was a Campbellsville High School and Campbellsville University graduate.

Ruth Mathews Gaskill, 93, died in Cinnaminson, N.J. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010.
She is survived by her daughter, Lois Latko of Burkesville, Ky.; a grandson, Charles Latko III of Campbellsville, great-grandchildren, Virgil Latko of Liberty, Ky., Sheila Olinski of Lexington, Ky. and Jennifer Dotson of Elizabethtown, Ky.; five great-great-grandchildren; and several other grandchildren, Dawn M. Latko of Mississippi and Terry R. Wightman of Pennsylvania and his children, Megan and Ryan Wightman of California.

Son of the late Omer White and Lottie Bell Phillips White, he was born on Nov. 18, 1926, in Taylor County. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and was a retired employee of Tennessee Gas Transmission. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II.

She was the daughter of Jackie Quinn of Knifley and the late Charles Ray Quinn.

to Billy Joe Kerr, who survives.

He was the son of the late Willie and Eliza Ann Caffee Dickens.

to Mary Ellen Dickens, who survives.
Survivors also include a son, Billy Dickens of Greensburg; four daughters, Jeannie Davis, Carol Beard, Donna Hash, and Sandra Dickens, all of Campbellsville; two stepsons, Ricky Gabehart and David Ford, both of Campbellsville; and two stepdaughters, Marie Daugherty of Loretto, Ky. and Susan Reardon of Campbellsville.

He was the son of the late Ernest Perkins and Mary Marcum Perkins.

Son of the late Edgar Martin Bartley and Mary Ethel Strode Bartley, he was born in Monroe County, Ky. on June 16, 1935. He was a retired employee of Campbellsville University.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Louise and Len Milby of Greensburg; two granddaughters, Heather Milby of Greensburg and Ashley Milby of Summersville, Ky.; and several other relatives and friends.
