Thomas E. Gupton, 90, of Sellersburg, Ind., formerly of Campbellsville, died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Survivors include three sons, Edward G. Gupton and Larry T. Gupton of Indiana and Mark A. Gupton of Georgia; and a daughter, JoLynn Allen of Indiana.
Funeral was Monday, March 5, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Sellersburg. Burial was in SCI-Graceland Memorial Park with full military honors.

Logan Turner Gaddie, 97, of Taylor County, died Thursday, Feb 23, 2012, in Campbellsville.
He was the son of the late Everette and Lona Gaddie.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Russell Gaddie.
Survivors include a son, Jimmie Gaddie of Campbellsville.
Funeral was Monday, Feb. 27, at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel in Campbellsville. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Ronald Young officiated.

Walter Leslie Wright, 90, of Greensburg, Ky., died Friday, March 2, 2012, at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital.
He was married
to Eula Elizabeth Dangerfield Wright, who survives. Funeral was Monday, March 5, at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Burial was in Greensburg cemetery with full military honors.
Betty J. Williams, 79
Betty J. Williams, 79, of Clementsville, Ky., died Monday, March 5 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Hobert and Mallie Wethington Montgomery.
She was married
to S.L. Williams Jr., who preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 2012.
Survivors include three daughters, Cynthia Luttrell of Hustonville, Ky., and Bonnie King and Amy Warner, both of Liberty, Ky.; and a son, Kim Williams of Liberty.

Billy Ray Cox, 40, of Hustonville, Ky., died Saturday March 3, 2012, in Casey County, Ky.
He was the son of Garnett and Judy Cochran Cox of Hustonville.
Funeral was Tuesday, March 6, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, Ky. Bro. Jimmy Brown officiated. Burial was in Dogwood Gap cemetery.

Faye Sallee, 71, of Campbellsville, died at 11:56 a.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012, in Campbellsville.
Daughter of the late Thomas Close and Alice Hudgins Close, she was born in Taylor County, on Oct. 18, 1940.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Spurlington United Methodist Church.
She was an employee of Cox Shavings in Campbellsville.
She married
Willard Sallee on Sept. 18, 1959. He survives.

Daughter of the late James Samuel Barnett and Eliza Jane Williams Barnett, she was born in Taylor County on Oct. 27, 1920.
She had professed a faith in Christ and was a member of Mannsville Christian Church.

Fred Logan Hazard, 87, of Campbellsville, died Sunday, May 13, 2012, in Louisville, Ky.
He was the son of Katherine Shields of Elizabethown, Ky. and the late Dave Logan Hazard.
Funeral was Sunday, May 20, at Crown Hill cemetery in Campbellsville. The Rev. Joe Richardson officiated.

Wayne Kidd, 81, of Louisville, Ky., died on Sunday, May 27, 2012, at his home.
He was the son of the late Dora and Annie Rowe Kidd. He was married
to Carroll Hancock Kidd on July 12, 1952. She survives.

Daughter of the late Willis Barnett and Cecil Mae Dicken Barnett, she was born Dec. 22, 1939, in Taylor County.
She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Robinson Creek Baptist Church.
She retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after 33 years of service.

Alma Shofner, 86, of Campbellsville, died at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2012, in Campbellsville.
Daughter of the late Clarence W. Sidebottom and Ethel Shofner Sidebottom, she was born Oct. 8, 1925, in Taylor County.
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Pentecostal faith.
She married
Oscar W. Shofner on Dec. 24, 1940. He preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 1996.

He was the son of the late Gladys Shofner and RT Cash.
He was married
to Georgia Dishman Cash, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, Tim Cash of Mannsville, Ky., and P.J. Cash of Campbellsville; three daughters, Sherry Luckett of Mt. Washington, Ky., Michelle Cash of Lebanon, Ky., and Bridgette Cash of Mannsville and a stepson, Tristan Dishman of Mannsville.

He was the son of the late Daisy Mae Colvin and Walter Thomas Buckman of Marion County, Ky.

to Mary "Leome" Buckman, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include five sons, Jim Buckman of Knifley, Ky.; Russell Buckman of Springfield, Ky.; and Joe Buckman, Phillip Buckman and Danny Buckman, all of Campbellsville; and a daughter, Sandra Tucker of Campbellsville.

He was the son of the late Roscoe Estes and Mary Durrett Estes. He was married
to Geneva Walker Estes, who survives. Funeral was Friday, March 16, at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial was in Bloyd-Perkins cemetery. Bros. Mickey Pruitt and Richard Jeffries officiated.

Son of the late David and Eva Mitchell, he was born in Campbellsville on March 28, 1921.

Shirley Ann Maupin, 71, of Evansville, Ind., died at 4:21 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, in Evansville.
Daughter of the late Oscar Newton and Gladys Rafferty Newton, was born in Shelbyville, Ind., on June 3, 1940. She was the statewide director of Kentucky Toll services and a retired property manager. She was a member of The Honorable Order of the Kentucky Colonels.

She was the daughter of the late Tom and Alice Close of Taylor County.
She was married
to William “Bud” Warren, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Wendell Warren of Campbellsville; two daughters, Vicky L. Yount of Taylorsville, Ky., and Teressa Germain of Campbellsville.

Opal Marie Pelley, 93, of Liberty, Ky., died Thursday, March 8, 2012, at her home in Columbus, Ind.
She was the daughter of the late Ethley and Lottie Wilson Ellis.
She was married
to Jesse Pelley, who preceded her in death on June 4, 1993.
Survivors include her sons, Lemuel “Jay” Pelley of Columbus and Mitchell “Mitch” Pelley of Campbellsville; and two daughters, Peggy Posey of Scipio, Ind., and Sue Scott of Columbus.
Sgt. Maj. John P. Wyche Jr.
Retired U.S. Army Sgt. Maj. John P. Wyche Jr. of Virginia died Saturday, Feb 25, 2012, in Virginia after a battle with cancer.
Survivors include two daughters, Vanessa Fend and Felica Wyche of Limburg, Germany.
Visitation is Monday, March 19, from 1:30 to 5 p.m. at the Vienna Presbyterian Church in Vienna, Va. Burial will take place at a later date in the Arlington National cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Vienna Presbyterian Church. Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg was in charge of arrangements.
