Winnie B. Caudill
Winnie B. Caudill, 94, of San Diego, Calif., formerly of Campbellsville, Ky., died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003 in California.
Daughter of the late William Alvin Robinson and Mary Alice Settles Robinson, she was born on Nov. 25, 1908 in Taylor County, Ky. and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Caudill was a member of the Rebecca's and held several offices including Noble Grand Officer and Matriarch, and a member of Pocahontas.
She was married
to Gilbert Caudill, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include three nieces and one nephew, Carolyn Baker and Gloria Deener of Campbellsville, Jane Gore of Elizabethtown, and Ben Reynolds of Lexington.
Two brothers and two sisters, Leo Robinson, Hobert Robinson, Otha Reynolds and Mabel Knopp also preceded her in death.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Burial was in Brookside cemetery.
Dr. James E. Jones officiated.
Pallbearers were Cody Baker, Mike Baker, Bradley Deener, Jeff Deener, Larry Deener and David Eastridge.
Robert L. Wade
Robert L. Wade, 71, of Campbellsville, Ky., died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003 in Campbellsville.
Son of the late John Andrew Wade and Bessie Lee Gribbins Wade, he was born on Jan. 8, 1932 in Taylor County, Ky. and worked as a farmer.
Survivors include two sisters and one brother, Anne Sutty, Shirley Blankenship and Joseph Richard "Rufus" Wade and wife, Maureen, all of Campbellsville.
Two brothers, James Ernest Wade and William H. Wade also preceded him in death.
The body was cremated. Services were private.
Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville was in charge of arrangements.
Bernal Allen Dicken, 85
Bernal Allen Dicken, 85, of Eads Street in Campbellsville, Ky., died on Thursday, March 25, 2004, at Medco Nursing Home in Campbellsville after an illness.
Son of the late Johnnie Dicken and Annie Reeder Dicken of Clinton County, Ky., he was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II and a retired employee of the Union Underwear Company.
Dicken is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Dicken; one son, Sanford Dicken; four grandchildren, Mark Dicken, Michael Dicken, Michelle Dicken and Jeanetta Lynn Hurst; three great-grandchildren, Jorson Hurst, Makayla Dicken and Cameron Dicken; and one sister, Hattie Bryant of Campbellsville
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter in infancy; one brother, Willie Dicken; and three sisters, Mattie Spears, Mary Canada and Verlie Ross.
Funeral was on Monday, March 29, 2004, at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with full military honors by the Marion County Disabled American Veterans. Bro. Bobby Cole and Brother Wayne Brooks officiated.
Pallbearers were Jodie Mings, Leonard Barnett, Jerry Parker, Buddy Loy, David Nelson and Kenneth Collins.
Clay Hadley, 58
Clay Hadley, 58, of Columbia, Ky., died on Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room in Columbia.
He was the son of Pearl Green Hadley of Glensfork, Ky., and the late Preston Hadley.
He was employed at J.L. French Co. Plant 3 in Glasgow, Ky.
Other survivors include his wife, Harriet Compton Hadley of Columbia; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Clay Dwaine Hadley of Indianapolis, Ind., and Jamie Preston Hadley and Randy and Jean Hadley, all of Columbia; one brother, Clinis Hadley of Glensfork; three sisters, Amond Ovaline Thornsbury of Bardstown, Ky., Caroline Spoon of Glensfork and Catherine Hadley of Fairplay, Ky.; three grandchildren, Kiona Hadley, Kia Hadley and Aaron Hadley; and a special friend, David Richards.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clayton Hadley and Claudus Hadley.
Funeral was on Friday, March 26, 2004, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia. Burial was in McClister cemetery at Fairplay. The Rev. Sam Burris officiated.
Pallbearers were Clayton Hadley Jr., Claudis Hadley, Curtis Hadley, Michael Spoon, Mark Spoon and Marty Spoon.
Richard Truman Neagle, 81
Richard Truman Neagle, 81, of Louisville, Ky., died on Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at the Caritas Medical Center in Louisville.
Son of the late John Richard and Rosie Neagle, he was born in Green County, Ky., and was a member of Arcade Baptist Church.
Neagle was retired from Louisville Warehouse.
He was married
to Delora Pierce, who survives.
Other survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Walter J. and Earlene Neagle; one nephew and his wife, Steve and Sharon Neagle; and one great-niece and one great-nephew, Shelby Neagle and Shane Neagle.
Funeral was on Friday, March 26, at the Nunnelley Funeral Home in Louisville. Graveside service was held at the Warf cemetery in Green County.
Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg was in charge of local arrangements.
Cleo Patra Jones Smith, 68
Cleo Patra Jones Smith, 68, died on Sunday, March 21, 2004, at Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg, Ky.
Daughter of the late Ann Burbridge Jones and Tom Frank Jones, she was born on May 6, 1935, in Crocus, Ky. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church in Adair County.
She was married
to George Henry Smith, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Sue Smith of Greensburg; two sons, Jerry Wayne Smith of Greensburg and Michael George Smith of Lexington, Ky.; two sisters, Arement "Minnie" Jones of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Mary Elizabeth Williams of Columbia, Ky.; one brother, Tom Frank "T.F." Jones of Columbia; five grandchildren, Patricia Smith, Tim Smith, Tonia Smith, Tishia Smith and Leamber Smith; six great-grandchildren, Shaunte Smith, Tariq Smith, Sa'von Brewer, Tianna Smith, Taiva Mangram and Jaedyn Embry; a special aunt and friend, Christine Burbridge Miller; and several special nephews and nieces, Clifton Amos, Thomas Amos, Bruce White, Judy Watts and Peggy Jones.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Jane Smith; and one son, Terry Lane Smith.
Funeral was on Thursday, March 25 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg. The Revs. Ben White and Louis Henry officiated. Burial was in Mt. Moriah cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gary White, Marco Mitchell, Steven Cheatham, Josh Cheatham, Nick Cheatham and Frankie Calhoun.
Honorary pallbearers were Kelly Mitchell, Donnie Williams, Marty Mitchell, John Pierce, Lisle Cheatham and Mark Jones.
Doyle Thompson, 64
Doyle Thompson, 64, of Southern Drive in Campbellsville, Ky., died on Sunday, March 28, 2004, in Campbellsville.
Son of the late Bennie Thompson and Bonnie Eastridge Thompson, he was born on April 1, 1939 in Taylor County, Ky.
He attended Feathersburg Church of God and retired as a mechanic from Fruit of the Loom.
Thompson was married
to Lois Eastridge on June 16, 1965. She survives.
Besides his wife, Thompson is survived by one daughter, one son and their spouses, Bonnie and Robert Campbell and Doug and Lisa Thompson, all of Campbellsville; five grandchildren, Angel Edelen, Tara Campbell, Carly Thompson, Shanda Campbell and Jacob Thompson, all of Campbellsville; one sister and one brother, Wanda Walters of Campbellsville and Randall Thompson of Hemet, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Rev. Jessie Rogers and the Rev. Montie Fugate will officiate. Burial will be in Eastridge cemetery.
Pallbearers are Floyd Bryant, Kenny Eastridge, Buddy Gabehart, Paul Gabehart, Weldon Gabehart, Thomas Rayburn, Norman Smith and Bill Warren.
Dr. Eugene Baldwin, 78
Dr. Eugene Baldwin, 78, of Florence, Ky., died on Saturday, May 29, 2004, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, Ky.
Son of the late Ronald and Stella Mae Walker Baldwin, he retired from dentistry in 1990 after 36 years of practice in Madisonville, Ky. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the Army Air Force, and a member of Hartland Baptist Church in Paducah, Ky.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Goforth Baldwin of Paducah, Ky.; one daughter, Diana S. Baldwin Taylor of Edgewood, Ky.; three sons, Dr. Michael G. Baldwin and Dr. Dan W. Taylor, both of Madisonville, Ky., and Kevin Baldwin of Boubonnais, Ill.; two brothers, Dr. Stanley Baldwin of Madisonville and Harold Baldwin of Campbellsville, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 3 at Lakeside Christian Church in Lakeside, Ky. Burial will be at Callahan-Feathersville cemetery in Speck, Ky.

Anthony Jordan Huckaby, Infant
Anthony Jordan Huckaby, son of Roger and Bobbie Sue Redmon Huckaby of Columbia, Ky., was stillborn on Thursday, May 27, 2004, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Ky.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Della Burton Redmon of Columbia; paternal grandfather, Roger Huckaby Sr. of Milltown, Ky.; aunts and uncles, Rodney and Rhonda Redmon of Columbia and Lisa and Michael Laney of Indiana; and a special great aunt and uncle, Brenda and Rick Huckaby of Columbia.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Linda Hartman Huckaby.
Graveside service was on Saturday, May 29 at Bethlehem cemetery in Russell Springs, Ky. Bro. Bob Richards officiated.

Jessie Janes, 81
Jessie Janes, 81, of Columbia, Ky., died on Thursday, May 27, 2004, at her home.
Daughter of the late Jess and Lee Cheek Cole, she was a member of Harrods Fork Baptist Church and was a secretary at Sparksville Grade Center for 36 years.
She was married
to Bee Janes, who preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1987.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Travis Paul Scott of Columbia and Angie and Willard Wise of Campbellsville, Ky.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mac and Missy Janes of Memphis, Tenn., Don and Beverly Janes of Pensacola, Fla., and Dale and Brenda Janes of Shepherdsville, Ky.; one sister, Sue Flatt of Columbia; eight grandchildren, Deana Cail, Greg Janes, Meredith Wong, Chris Janes, Mike Scott, Lorie Janes, Daron Vaughn and Jason Janes; and five great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Faye Hauf, on Feb. 23, 1999; two brothers, George Cole and Jim Cole; and one sister, Victoria Handorf.
Funeral was Sunday, May 30 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia. The Rev. Lewis Haynes and Brother Jessie Hagan officiated. Burial was at Antioch cemetery.

Lou Jones Lobb, 86
Lou Jones Lobb, 86, of Robinson Avenue in Campbellsville, Ky., died on Wednesday, May 26, 2004, in Campbellsville.
Daughter of the late Cleveland Herron and Mary Elizabeth Cabble Herron, she was born in Taylor County, Ky., on May 24, 1918. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and had retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She was married
to Ruby Jones on Dec. 23, 1937. He preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 1974. She later married
Ulys Lobb May in 1977. He preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 1998.
Survivors include one son and two daughters-in-law, Lonnie A. and Joan Jones of Mannsville, Ky., and Dot Jones of Campbellsville; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Allen Jones of Mannsville, Leslie Jones Vance and Deanna Lynn Darst, both of Lebanon, Ky., and Kenneth Ray Jones Jr. of Campbellsville; nine great-grandchildren, Caren Elizabeth Jones of Babylon, Iraq, Jay Allen Jones of Mannsville, Zachary Aaron Jones, Isabella Darst, Andrew Darst, Danielle Darst and Jessie Reagan Vance, all of Lebanon, and Westin Matthew Vance and Trevor Michael Vance, both of Magnolia, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Kenneth R. Jones on Aug. 16, 2002; one grandson, Robert Dean Jones on July 15, 1984; four brothers and one sister, Roy Herron, Woodrow Herron, Frank Herron, Luther Herron and Thelma Hundley.
Funeral was Sunday, May 30 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Rev. James H. Loy officiated. Burial was at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
