Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 25, at 3 p.m. at Lamb Funeral Home with Danny Cleaver officiating.

Burial followed in Cedar Hill cemetery in Princeton.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Hopkinsville Church of Christ.

Louise Prince

Mrs. Louise Prince, 78, of Caldwell County, died Saturday, June 23, 2001, at 9:10 p.m. at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, following a long illness.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, June 27, at 11 a.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Dean Ray officiating.

Burial followed in Cedar Hill cemetery in Princeton.

S.L. Jenkins

S.L. Jenkins, 65, formerly of Caldwell and Lyon counties, died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at 4:55 a.m. at Oak Hill Hospital Emergency Room in Spring Hill, Fla., of a sudden apparent heart attack.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, June 20, at 2 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Frank Stallins officiating.

Burial followed in Eddy Creek Church cemetery in Caldwell County.

Corbett H. Brown

Corbett H. Brown, 64, of Eddycreek Road, Lyon County, died Saturday, June 16, 2001, at 4:21 a.m. at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville following a long illness.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, June 19, at 11 a.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Dean Ray officiating, assisted by the Rev. Mickey Lewis.

Burial followed in Oliver cemetery in Lyon County.

Howard Lee Cash

Howard Lee Cash, 80, of Eastview Drive, Madisonville, and formerly of Princeton, died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at 1:40 p.m. at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, following a short illness.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, June 22, at 2:30 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Bob Lowery officiating.

Burial followed in Cedar Hill cemetery in Princeton.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Mahr Cancer Center, 900 Hospital Dr., Madisonville, Ky., or Princeton Railroad Museum, P.O. Box 1, Princeton, Ky. 42445.

Mrs. Louard Young Stallins

MRS. LOUARD STALLINS

Mrs. Louard Young Stallins, 85, of Lewistown Church Road, Princeton, died Thursday, June 14, 2001, at 9:30 p.m. at Caldwell County Hospital in Princeton following a short illness.

“Jim” and Florida Hensley Young.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Shirley Stallins on Nov. 30, 1987.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, June 17, at 3 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Ronnie Sivells officiating.

Burial followed in Lance Nichols cemetery in Caldwell County.

R.B. Harper

R.B. Harper, 77, of Calvert City, died Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at 1:35 a.m. at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, June 15, at 2 p.m. at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville with the Rev. C.W. Barnhill officiating.

Military rites and burial followed in Calvert City cemetery.

Ruby Martin Espie

Ruby Martin Espie, 94, a retired executive account reservationist for Eastern Airlines, died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, in Crofton, Md.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 11, at 10 a.m. at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville.

Burial followed in Kuttawa cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Lyon County Historical Society.

Norval Wynn

Norval Wynn, 84, of the Friendship Community in Lyon County, died Saturday, June 2, 2001, at 1:05 a.m. at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, following a short illness.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 4, at 11 a.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. C.C. Brasher officiating.

Burial followed in Friendship Church cemetery in Lyon County.

Mrs. Mary Jane Baker Thomas

Mrs. Mary Jane Baker Thomas, 75, of Fredonia, died Sunday, June 3, 2001, at 5:50 p.m. at Crittenden County Hospital in Marion, following a short illness.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, June 6, at 11 a.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Buddy Pope officiating.

Burial followed in Fredonia cemetery at Fredonia.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 4, at 2 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville with the Rev. Danny Smith and the Rev. Junior Deason officiating.

Burial followed in Chestnut Oak cemetery in Lyon County.

W.J. "Bill" Rogers

W.J. “Bill” Rogers, 81, formerly of Cecile Drive, Princeton, died Monday, June 4, 2001, at 3:50 p.m. at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, following a short illness.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, June 6, at 2:30 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Burial followed in Cedar Hill cemetery.

George C. Gray

George C. Gray, 86, formerly of Princeton, died Tuesday, June 5, 2001, at 1:04 p.m. at the Good Samaritan Home in Oakland City, Ind.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 8, at 1 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Rodney Wallace officiating.

Burial will follow in Cedar Hill cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Vernon Crick

Vernon Crick, 97, of Kuttawa and formerly of Paducah, died Monday, June 4, 2001, at 3:55 a.m. at Caldwell County Hospital in Princeton.

Graveside services were conducted Wednesday, June 6, at 10:30 a.m. at Pleasant Hill cemetery in Lyon County with the Rev. David Herndon officiating.

Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Willie Hazel Asher

Mrs. Willie Hazel Asher, 91, formerly of Mechanic Street, Princeton, died Monday, June 4, 2001, at 9:43 a.m. at Princeton Health Care Manor, following a long illness.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, June 6, at 1 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Harold Salyers officiating.

Burial followed in Cedar Hill cemetery.

Hilda Deboe Payne

Mrs. Hilda Deboe Payne, 68, of Pikeville and formerly of Princeton, died Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at 1:15 p.m. at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn., following a long illness.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, June 2, at 3 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Troy Tackett officiating, assisted by Yvonne Clark and Rebecca Martin.

Burial followed in Perry cemetery.

Evelyn Lander

Mrs. Evelyn Lander, 93, formerly of North Cave Street, Princeton, died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at 11:15 p.m. at the Princeton Health Care Manor, following a short illness.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, June 2, at 1 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Alfred Reid officiating.

Burial followed in Cedar Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Louise Pinnegar Brown

Mrs. Louise Pinnegar Brown, 75, of Maple Avenue, Princeton, died Wednesday, June 12, 2002, at 12:40 a.m. at Caldwell County Hospital, following a short illness.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, June 14, at 11 a.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Tommy Tackett officiating.

Burial followed in Cedar Hill cemetery.

Funeral services and burial were held in Knoxville, Tenn.
