Nannie Jane Parker Compton
Ms. Nannie Jane Parker Compton was born September 28, 1926 in Taylor County, KY to the late John Marshall and Lois Bell Williams Parker. She departed this life Monday, August 11, 2014 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY, having attained the age of eighty-seven years, ten months and thirteen days.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Union Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir and a church missionary. She retired from the Civil Service as a Laundry Attendant.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter: Anna Mae Compton, six brothers and three sisters: John, Sylvester, William, Spencer, Lattie and Raymond Parker, Lena Chinn, Stina Buckner and Bettie Parker.
She is survived by three sons and three daughters-in-law: Rev. Emmitt Lee and Connie Compton of Aurora, Illinois, Larry Wayne and Carolyn Compton, Steven Edward and Mardena Compton all of Summersville, KY, three daughters and three son-in-laws: Liddie Bell and Andrew Marshall of Portland, Oregon, Lena Louise and Jimmy Smith of Richmond, KY, Patricia Lynn and Rev. Andre` Calhoun of Summersville, KY, twenty-five grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.

Morris Dennis Price
Mr. Morris Dennis Price was born December 16, 1923, in Green County, KY to the late Emmit Lee Price and Velma Agnes Clark Price. He departed this life Tuesday July 29, 2014 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Campbellsville, KY, having attained the age of ninety years, seven months and thirteen days.
Morris had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Aetna Grove Baptist Church. He was a retired School Bus Driver for the Green County Board of Education. He was a 60 year member of the William B. Allen Masonic Lodge in Summersville, KY. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during World War II.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death October 27, 2005 by his wife, Ruth Bale Price. He was also preceded in death March 17, 2009 by one son: Terry Price.
He is survived by his caregiver: Connie Walker of Campbellsville, KY, two grandchildren: Jeremy Walker and Jennifer Fitzpatrick, three great grandchildren: Reese Walker, Avery Walker and Rylee Price Fitzpatrick, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Dixie Mae Buckner Hagan
Mrs. Dixie Mae Buckner Hagan was born March 25, 1941 in Green County, KY to the late Robert Lee and Mollie Curry Buckner. She departed this life Friday, July 4 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, KY, having attained the age of seventy-three years, three months and eleven days.
Dixie was a member of the Walnut Memorial Baptist Church and New Life Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, crafts, collecting dolls and playing on the computer. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons: John Robert Hagan ad Michael Scott Hagan and one brother: Billy Buckner.
She is survived by her husband, Hardin Hagan, one son and daughter-in-law: Ricky Dean and Vesta Hagan, three daughters and sons-in-law: Deborah Lynn and Edward Maglero, Sharon Kaye and Scotty Sholar and Lisa and Tracy Stewart, two sisters: Roberta Davenport of Louisville and Mary Jane Compton of Greensburg, four brothers: James Buckner of Louisville, Elroy, Bobby and Donnie Buckner of Greensburg, seventeen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dixie Mae Buckner Hagan will be conducted 12 noon Tuesday at the Haley-McGinnis and Owensboro Funeral Home in Owensboro, KY with burial in the Rosehill cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at 12 noon at Haley-McGinnis and Owensboro Funeral Home.

Parthenia Paxton Humphrey
Mrs. Parthenia Paxton Humphrey was born September 29, 1936 in Green County, KY to the late Marshall and Cleo Beard Paxton. She departed this life Monday, June 30, 2014 at the Golden Living Center-Green Hill Manor, having attained the age of seventy-seven years, nine months and one day.
Parthenia had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Presbyterian Church.
She was Executive Vice President at Lincoln Federal Savings and Loan. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband John Humphrey and one brother: Steward Paxton.
She is survived by her sister-in-law: Carolyn Paxton of Greensburg, one step son: Rick Humphrey of Ohio and one step daughter: Sherry Humphrey, one aunt: Margie Whitlock of Greensburg and special friends: Nancy Mills and Cora Young.

Brenda Henry Thompson
Brenda Henry Thompson was born March 22, 1952 in Green County, KY to the late Houston Henry and Lee Anna Barnett Henry. She departed this life Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, having attained the age of sixty-two years, two months and twenty-nine days.
Brenda had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Jacob Grove Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Pat Thompson, four sisters and two brothers: Nora Brown, Lena Frances Bradley, Hallie Williams, Faye Henry Houston Eugene Henry, William Luther Henry and Lawrence Henry.
She is survived by her special companion: William Spalding of Lebanon, one son: Cornellius Henry of Louisville, special niece: Kendraya Skyy Bridgewater of Lebanon, two brothers and sisters-in-law: James and Rebecca Henry of Oswego, Illinois and Rev. Dorothy "Maxine" Larimore Edwards
Mrs. Dorothy "Maxine" Larimore Edwards was born March 28, 1918 in Green County, KY to the late James "Jim" Robert Larimore and Laura Bell Edrington Larimore. She departed this life June 15, 2014 at the Golden Living Center-Green Hill Manor, having attained the age of ninety-six years, two months and seventeen days.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was a welder supervisor during World War II and was a homemaker. She was very active in the Democratic Party. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death October 9, 1972 by her husband: Woodrow Lynn Edwards. She is also preceded in death by one grandson: Robert Woodrow Edwards, one sister: Louise Simpson and one son-in-law: Leo Jones, Jr.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: J.W. Bill and Anne Edwards of Greensburg, two daughters and one son-in-law: Elizabeth Jones of Greensburg and Jean and Tony Ennis of Hodgenville, one sister: Barbara L. Price, seven grandchildren: Beverly Reliford (Greg), Bill Edwards (Ann), John Edwards (Robyn), Mary Beth Mobley (Joel), Susan Donlon (Jim), Dee Anne Sanders (Sam), and Ellen Dawson ( Stan), thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Dawn Atkinson was born September 19, 1948 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the late Walter and Genivee Miller Botticher. She departed this life Sunday, June 15, 2014 at her home in Greensburg, having attained the age of sixty-five years, eight months and twenty-six days.
She is survived by two daughters and one son: Geni Atkinson of Utah, Pamela Smith of Missouri and Phillip Knapp of Michigan, two brothers: Dirk and Curt Botticher of West Virginia, two sisters: Sandra Archer of Tennessee and Connie of Michigan, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen plus great grandchildren, special grandchildren: Dakota Atkinson, Ariq Carpenter, Nalana Atkinson, Elizabeth Gargus, Troy Gargus, Nedra Gargus, Tegan Gargus.and special friends: Dottie, Brenda and Anita.
The family chose cremation. There will be no local services. The family has requested that donations be made to Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg to help take care of the expenses.
Wilma Mae Nunn Noe
Wilma Mae Nunn Noe was born on June 17, 1919 in Green County Ky. to the late Sam and Virgie Wright. She departed this life Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Golden Living Center/Green Hill in Greensburg, Ky having attained the age of ninety four years, eleven months and twenty-four days.
Mrs. Noe had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, and she was a homemaker.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Carl Nunn and Cleo Noe , three brothers and two sisters, Russell Wright, Robert Wright, Rollin Wright, Margie Kirtley, and Mel Bibb, two step-sons, Jackie Noe and Barry Noe.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Judy Nunn of Greensburg and one step-daughter Patsy Paxton of North Carolina, three sisters, Mildred Milby and Betty Reynolds of Greensburg and Mamie Beard of Campbellsville, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren plus a host of other relatives and friends.
