WRIGHT, Minerva was born November 10 1889 and died April 12 1951 she married Lee WRIGHT and they had 7 children; two preceded her in death in infancy. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church. Written by her daughter: Dissie Smallwood

BAKER, Laura the daughter of Sam and Pricey (JUSTICE) Baker, Hurley, Virginia. Born, October 22 1897 and died September 21 1954; married Ples SLONE January 1914 they had 6 boys/5 girls; two boys preceded her in death. Joined the Pine Grove Church of Old Regular Baptist 1927.

AUSTIN, Matilda, the daughter of Rev. Jesse Austin and Margaret Austin; born in Grayson Co., North Carolina, December 4 1835; died July 23 1919. Married Soloman BENTLEY at the age of 21 they had one daughter, Nancy Ann Bentley, who married Filmore Addington. After Solomon's death she married Green SANDERS and they had one daughter, Ellen Sanders, who married John WRIGHT. Afther Green's death she married James BRYANT, they had one daughter, Margaret Elizabeth Bryant, who married Fields STRANGE. Also, one son, William Douglas Bryant. Her 3 daughters preceded her in death.

JUSTICE, Milton S. was born May 4 1970 and died May 18 1955; he married Hulda E. ELKINS in 1891 they hd 5 boys/3 girls. Two boys preceded him in death. Remaining children; Freeling Justice, Clintwood, Virginia; Maggie Bryant, Burdine, Kentucky; Roy Justice, Yeager, Kentucky; Bertha Perry, Burdine, Kentucky; Gertie Newsome, Virgie, Kentucky; and Earl Justice, Virgie, Kentucky. Joined the Old Regular Baptist Church 1950.

GILLIAM, Arch was born July 11 1894 and died November 2 1954. The son of William and Orah (Robinson) Gilliam. Married February 16 1916 to Dollie Gilliam; had 4 boys/4 girls; one girl died in infancy. Living children are; Kendrick, Kyle, Jackson, Hoover, Clara, Myrtle and Ruth.

MARCUM, Ketcher was the son of Jacob and Saria Marcum, who preceded him in death. He was born February 10 1906 and died February 9 1955; married to Edith HUNNICUT and they had two boys, Clarence (died in infancy) and Charles. He and his wife divorced and he later married Oma BOLDMAN.

STALLARD, Leonard E. was the son of J. W. A. Stallard and Causby ROBERSON. He was born April 2 1895 and died May 31 1955; married Bessie ADDINGTON on December 25 1919 they had 3 girls/2 boys; Marie Ward of Maryland, Mable Barkley of Greenville, TN, Hercel Stallard, Maude Ella Varner, Custis Stallard all of Wise.

JACKSON, Charles W. was born October 28 1897 and died October 17 1954. He married Alta PUCKETT, March 19 1919; they had four children: Mrs. Kathryn Mullins and Mrs. Gaynell Hall, Jack and Ray. Ray preceded him in death a few months ago. He was a mercantile businessman. He leaves one sister: Mrs. Genoa Anderson of Grundy Virginia; and two brothers: Bill Jackson of Pound Virginia; and Autey Jackson of Elkhorn City, Kentucky.

ROSE, Sarah was born January 18 1872, she died at the age of 83 yrs, 3 mos, and 16 days old. She was the daughter of John E. Rose and Lottie Rose. She had six sisters and four brothers all preceded her in death. Written by her nephew: John C. Rose

SWINEY, Ell was born May 11 1871 and died October 7 1954; he married Loretta CANTRELL in 1892; they had 13 children; two died in infancy. Miles Swiney, James Swiney both of Draffin, Kentucky; Woodrow Swiney, Lookout, Kentucky; Gusta Keeton of West Liberty, Kentucky; Maxie Hopkins of Greasy Creek, Kentucky; Marcella Bartley and Bertha Adams both of Elkhorn City, Kentucky; Florida Coleman of Big Branch, Kentucky; Hazel Bartley of Toplin, West Virginia; Bessie Ratliff of Mt. Gilead, Ohio; Bonnie Lester of Edison, Ohio

MULLINS, Eveline was the daughter of Harmon and Elizabeth (VENTERS) Mullins; born Clintwood, Virginia; married Henry Harrison COLEMAN July 1886 and they had 6 boys/5 girls. She died December 13 1953. She leaves nine children: George W., Roy, Orvil, Charlie, Donald, Hattie C. Sterling, Ora Francisco, Nora Justice, Edith Green; the two children preceded her are Lon Coleman and Emily Rowe.

STERLING, Charles B. born in Masontown, Pennsylvania on June 9 1874 and died June 26 1948; the son of Andrew and Anna (JOHNSON) Sterling; married Mary KIERNAN on December 24 1896 they had 3 children: Anna May, Ray Andrew, and Thomas Marshall. Both boys died in childhood, Ray being 8 yrs old and Marshall being 4 yrs old. Mary, his first wife died in 1911. He married Hattie COLEMAN, June 1911; they had 5 boys and 3 girls. One boy and one girl died in infancy. He came to this county in January 1911, as superintendent of the Rochouse mines at Rochhouse, Kentucky. He leaves his four sons: Charles B., Paul L., Harry Joe, and Scotty; 3 girls: Mrs. May Coleman, Mrs. Horace Rose, and Mrs. A. G. Harding.

COLEMAN, Emily born March 23 1903 at Venters, Kentucky; daughter of Harrison and Eveline Coleman; married Carmel ROWE having 3 girls/1 boy; Betty Lou Owens, Emma Lavaughn Bartley, Ronald Rogers Rowe, and Donna Louise Rowe. Died October 26 1954 and She joined the Old Regular Baptist Church in 1929. Written by her sister: Hattie Coleman Sterling

SARGENT, Susan K. died February 12 1941. Joined the Old Regular Baptist Church 1904.

RAINEY, Mary born April 8 1868 died October 5 1941; the daughter of John and Helen Rainey; married F. M. OSBORNE at the age of 21; they had 7 boys/5 girls. She leaves all her children, husband and two sisters. Member of the Stephen Chapel Church of Old Regular Baptist.

SMITH, Vergie was the daughter of Caudle and Ella (Bowling) Smith; born May 16 1904; died December 17 1941 at the Richlands Hospital, Richlands, Virginia; and buried at the Caney Creek Cemetary at Stewart, Kentucky; she married Ranzy MULLINS December 16 1920; they had 3 sons/2 girls: Curtis, Haskel, Victor, Edna and Ellie E. Mullins. She leaves her husband, children, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers and her mother.

MULLINS, Foster the son of Mrs. Eliza Mullins; died June 21 1941. Buried at Elkhorn City cemetery at Elkhorn City, Kentucky. Member of the Pine Grove Church of Old Regular Baptist.

GRIFFITH, Luesia was the daughter of George and Sally Griffith; born March 26 1859 and died March 20 1942; she married Elisha BOYD they had one boy and one girl; the girl preceded her in death and the boy, Harry Boyd, survives. She also leaves 7 step-children. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.

LOONEY, Gilbert died February 27 1942 at the age of 72 yrs, 10 mos and 27 days old. He married Parthena MARTIN on March 28 1888; they had 12 children; 2 girls and 4 boys; 3 preceded him in death. He joined the Honey Fork Church of Old Regular Baptist where he as an ordained Deacon. Written by his daughters: Elsie, Louama and Mary Evelyn

GREER, Mary Jane was the daughter of Dave and Martha Greer; died on February 21 1941. She married Tom CABLE they had 10 children; five preceded her in death. Joined the Old Regular Baptist Church November 1921. Written by her son, John Cable

WHITE, Frealove born January 19 1848 and January 4 1941; married M. C. Cager WHITE having 6 girls and 3 boys. one girld died in infancy. Written by grand-daughter: Myrtle Johnson

DOTSON, Oscar was the son of John J. and Tabitha Dotson; born June 2 1894 and died September 22 1936. He was a World War Veteran. He leaves his father, mother, 3 sisters, one brother and 3 children.

BENTLEY, Lucrecie was born February 14 1894 and died April 7 1941 complications after gallbladder surgery; the daughter of Burton and Nellie Bentley and and married Rev. Willie SANDERS March 31 1915; they had 2 children: Victor and Verna. She leaves, her husband, father and mother, six brothers, 3 sisters and her children.

O'QUINN, Nellie was born February 10 1851 and died May 9 1941; she married Geroge M. O'QUINN December 5 1867 and they had 8 boys/5 girls; one son, James, preceded her in death 16 yrs ago.

HILL, Bulah Fay was born March 18 1937 and died February 13 1942; the daughter of Belmer and Mary Hill; she is survived by her parents and one brother.

O'QUINN, Hassell Bynum was obrn November 22 1932 and died February 13 1941; the son of W. L. and Juda O'Quinn, leaving his parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

HUBBARD, Willard Victor was born April 9 1925 died in infancy; the son of W. F. and Lillie Hubbard

HUBBARD, Shirley May was born June 29 1932 died January 4 1934 buried to death The daughter of W. F. and Lillie Hubbard.

HUBBARD, Ila Fay Lucille born June 5 1941 died August 31 1942; the daughter of W. F. and Lillie Hubbard.
