Russell Cline Adkins, 62, of Dandridge, Tenn., formerly of Pike County, Kentucky, died Friday, March 10, 2005, at Knoxville, Tenn.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 14, 2005, at 11 a.m., at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at the Elkhorn City cemetery at Elkhorn City, Kentucky

Wanda Adkins
Wanda Sue Adkins, 58, of East Shelbiana, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at her residence.
She was born February 25, 1947 in Pike County, Kentucky, to the late Verlon Robinson and Emeline Robinson.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 4, 2005, 11 a.m., at Greasy Creek Church of God with Jimmy Jack Adkins and Carlson Adkins officiating. Burial will follow.
Visitation will be held at the church Wednesday and Thursday evening at 7 p.m.
Rudolph Preece
Rudolph Preece, 82, of Fallsburg, Kentucky, formerly of Omar, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at Kings Daughters Medical Center.
Born July 11, 1922, in Martin County, Kentucky, to the late Bazil and Roxie Goble Preece, he was a retired coal miner and a member of Elizabeth Old Regular Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Sadie Jones Preece of Fallsburg, Kentucky; sons, Lee Preece of Yawkey, W.Va., Johnny Preece of Omar, W.Va., Dallas Preece of Fallsburg, Kentucky, Russell Preece of Louisville, Kentucky and Ronnie Preece of Fallsburg, Kentucky; daughters, Eloise Zvirzdin of Petersburg, Va., Lorine Shaffer of Mondesto, Calif., and Bonnie Preece of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers; and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 4, 2005, 11 a.m., at Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Kentucky, with Rev. Gable Lowe, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Goble cemetery, Davellam, Kentucky

Ruth Adkins Thacker, 76, of Dry Fork Road, Shelbiana, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 11, 2005, at Pikeville Medical Center.
She was born July 10, 1928, in Greasy Creek, Kentucky to the late Emmit Adkins and Cindy Spears Adkins.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 13, 2005, 12 noon, at Justice Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Church ministers.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home starting Friday at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. for friends with services nightly at 7 p.m.
Greeley Hatfield, Sr.
Greeley Hatfield, Sr., 87, of Miami Township, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at the Dayton Veterans Administration Medical Center, Hospice Unit.
Mr. Hatfield was born March 5, 1918 in Jamboree, Kentucky, and was a veteran of World War II. He was a retired barber, practicing in Oakwood and a life member of Hammond VFW Post 3438.
Mr. Hatfield leaves wife, Rosalee Hatfield and daughter, Susan Hatfield o Miami Township; son, Greeley Hatfield, Jr. and grandson Brian Hatfield of Houston, Tex.; brother, Everett Hatfield of Orlando, Fla.; sisters, Bess Elliot of Mayfield, Kentucky, Betty Jo Curtis of Troy, Mich. and Magalou Defonzo of Phelps, Kentucky; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Special appreciation to nephew and niece Jeff and Shirley Coleman of Phelps, Kentucky and great-nephew David Hatfield of Troy, Ohio.
Family will receive friends 1 - 4 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday with interment following in Dayton National cemetery.

Rodger Prater
Rodger Lee Prater, 30, of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, formerly of Stopover, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2005, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky
He was born September 10, 1974, in Williamson, W.Va., to Roger Lee Prater of Stopover, Kentucky and Kathlene Justice Prater. His mother and stepfather, John Prater, Jr., live in Prestonsburg, Kentucky He was employed at Food City, Prestonsburg, Kentucky and was very artistic in art and tattoo design.
He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Bessie Prater and Flora Deskins; grandfather, Jimmy Lee (Edward) Justice; brother, Heath Tackett; and uncle, Harold Coleman.
Surviving are his brother, Justin Claudheath Tackett of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; sisters, Leah McCoy Stevens of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Leaetta Blankenship of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; grandfather, Claude Justice of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; niece, Amee Kathlene McCoy of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; best friend, James (Little Man) Sellards; and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2005, 1 p.m., at Rogers Funeral Home with Charles Meek and Curtis Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Looney cemetery, Meador, W.Va.
Serving as pallbearers are Ronald Murphy, Perry Joe Prater, William Hurley, Jr., Danny Prater and James (Little) Man Sellards and other friends.
Visitation was held Monday evening, after 6 p.m., at Rogers Funeral Home and will be held anytime before the funeral Tuesday.

Nadine Blackburn
Nadine F. Blackburn, 67, of Toler, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 28, 2005.
Nadine was born March 20, 1937 in Pike County, Kentucky to the late Robert and Ethel Fannin.
She was a disabled Nurses Aide and had worked at the ARH Hospital in South Williamson, Kentucky
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob R. Blackburn; a brother, Robert (Mac) Fannin, Jr.; sister, Glendine Bailey; and a special sister-in-law, Irene Fannin.
Survivors include one daughter, Robin A. Hall (fiance' Edward Comer) of Borderland, W.Va.; grandchildren, Savannah B. Hall and Wesley G. Hall of Borderland; two brothers, Billy Ray Fannin of Stone, Kentucky and Jim Fannin of Toler, Kentucky; one sister, Joyce (Ronnie) Booth of Hardy, Kentucky; and a special sister-in-law, Jean; and several nieces and nephews.
Nadine was a loving mother and grandmother to her only daughter and her two grandchildren. She was loved by all who came in contact with her. Her summers were spent camping and spending time with her grandchildren and her many 'adopted' grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at Rogers Funeral Home with Roger Bogar officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Huddy, Kentucky
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Tuesday at Rogers Funeral Home with special services at 7 p.m. with Larry Hubbard.

Johnny Maynard
Johnny Maynard, 60, of Majestic, Kentucky, died Sunday, January 9, 2005, at his home following a lengthy illness.
Born July 10, 1944, at Majestic, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Bryson Maynard and Billie Faye Gill Maynard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy "Sissy" Lee and Virginia "Ginger" Lee.
He was self-employed and a member of The Lord's House of Phelps, Kentucky
He is survived by his loving wife Shirley Maynard; son, Rocky Allen (Kristie) Maynard; brothers, Bryson Maynard Jr., of Cynthiana, Kentucky, Charles (Joanne) Maynard of Majestic, Kentucky, Doug (Margaret) Maynard of Majestic, Kentucky; sisters, Mary Ann Frazier of North Riverside, Ill., Betty June (Zeke) Campell of Radcliff, Kentucky; a grandchild, Johnny Lee Allen Maynard.
Funeral arrangements will be conducted at noon Wednesday, January 12, 2005, at The Lord's House at Phelps, Kentucky, with the Revs. Mitch Bowling and Bobby Dale Wolford officiating. Burial will follow in the Maynard Family cemetery at Sugar Hill.
Pallbearers will be brothers of The Lord's House and family and friends.
Visitation will begin Monday, January 10, 2005, at the church beginning at 6 p.m., with services nightly at 7 p.m.
