Services for Howard R. Ross, 76, of Paducah will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
The Rev. Jim Glover will officiate, with burial in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mr. Ross died at 8:42 a.m. Friday at his home.
The Lamont native was a retired truck driver and a member of Salt and Light Community Church. He was an Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Donna Searfoss Ross; two daughters, Kathy Steele and Cheryl Gardner, both of Paducah; one son, Ray Miller of South Bend, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Louise Ross Morris, and one daughter, Karen Ross.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral home.

Norma Sue McClure, age 76, of Watertown, Wis., formerly of Paducah, died on Monday, July 11, 2005, at Beverly Terrace Nursing Home in Watertown.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2005, at Hardmoney Baptist Church with the Rev. Faris Sahawneh officiating.
Burial will be in Hardmoney Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2005, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, and after 9 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2005, at Hardmoney Baptist Church.
Contributions may be made to the Hardmoney Baptist Church Building Fund, 5351 State Route 1684, Boaz, KY 42027; or to the charity of one's choice.
Norma Sue was born
Aug. 19, 1928, in Akron, Ohio, daughter of the Rev. Jack and Ila Mae (Hughes) Brown.
She married Johnny V. McClure on July 3, 1947, on the front lawn of the Hardmoney Baptist Parsonage.
Norma was a graduate of Buchtel High School in Akron.
She worked for Magnavox Corp., JC Penney and Western Baptist Hospital before devoting her time to being a full-time homemaker.
She was a former member of Hardmoney Baptist Church and Immanuel Baptist Church.
She enjoyed arts and crafts, reading, singing in choirs, shopping and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Johnny McClure of Watertown; a daughter, Rachel (Dennis) Sterwald of Watertown; a son, John David McClure of Nashville, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Todd (Tara) Alexander of Cadiz, Sara (Barry) Heath of Wickliffe, Camille (Terry) Peck of Symsonia and Devin and Brennan Fellows, both of Watertown; two great-grandchildren, Clayton and Natalie Eileen Heath; a sister, Jackie Laborda of Bowling Green; two brothers, Bobbie (Sue) Brown of Bowling Green and Timothy (Jennie) Brown of Gilbertsville; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Eileen; and a brother, Jerry Brown.

Mrs. Vowell died at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday at Lourdes hospital.
She was born
in St. Louis and was a member of Grace Church International.
Surviving are her husband, John D. Vowell; one daughter, Jeanna Peck of Boaz; two sons, Larry R. Hyatte and Kenneth L. Hyatte, both of Kansas City, Kan.; two brothers, Gary Barker of Sharpe and Jackie Ray Barker of Paducah; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister. Her parents were L.G. and Pansy Bryant Barker.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Shackelford died at 1:37 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Western Baptist Hospital.
Born in Murray, Kentucky, he was a retired chief chemist for the Paducah & Louisville Railway with 35 years of service.
He was a member of Lone Oak Church of Christ and served in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Murdock Shackelford of Lone Oak, Kentucky; a daughter, Rebecca Ann Shackelford Pace and her husband, Gary, of Calvert City, Kentucky; a sister, Barbara Shackelford Erwin of Knoxville, Tenn.; a grandson, Shane C. Pace of Paducah, Kentucky; three stepgrandchildren, Scott Edward Pace of Calvert City, Kentucky, Casey Ryan Pace of Paducah, Kentucky, and Shannon Renee Moore of Calvert City, Kentucky; seven step-great-grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by two brothers. His parents were Oury Alvin and Lucille Wilcox Shackelford.

Services for Catherine Voor Baker, 81, of Paducah will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Joe Voor will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Mrs. Baker died at 10:05 p.m. Sunday at Western Baptist Hospital.
She was night nursing supervisor at Western Baptist Hospital for several years, and was a member of the Kalosophic Club.
Surviving are three sons, Charles E. “Andy” Anderson Jr. of Jeffersonville, Ind., David Michael Anderson of Gilbertsville and James Leon Anderson of Paducah; two daughters, Julia Ruth Sampson of Helena, Ala., and Catherine Teresa Wells of Hot Springs, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Edwin Anderson, and her second husband, R.T. Baker. Her parents were Herman and Julia Galvin Voor.

Services for Jennie Elizabeth Harmon, 92, of Paducah will be at 11 a.m. Friday at West End Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Tom Hughes officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
She died at 3:40 p.m. Monday at Windsor Care Center in Mount Sterling.
Mrs. Harmon was a Western Baptist Hospital volunteer, and a cafeteria manager. At her church, she was a choir member and a Sunday school teacher for 50 years.
She is survived by two sons, David Make Harmon of Mount Sterling and Wayne Harmon of Huntsville, Ala.; one sister, Helen Yahr of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Harmon; one daughter, Jane Brown DeJarnett; three sisters; and three brothers. Her parents were Christian Bass and Flora Housman Bass.

Graveside services for Willard D. McBride Sr., 78, of Versailles, formerly of Paducah, will be at 2 p.m. today at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Curtis Harrell officiating.
Mr. McBride died at 6:14 p.m. Monday at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
He was a member of East Baptist Church and was formerly employed by Federal Materials and Tilford Contracting.
Surviving are his wife, Sandy McBride; four sons, Mac McBride of Paducah, Tony McBride of Kevil, Jeff McBride of Lovelaceville and Dr. John McBride of Buchanan, Ga.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jerine Bunch McBride. His parents were Marvin McBride and Rachel Bach McFadden McBride.
